A lot of people are against the PLCB but I don't mind... Our prices are fairly competitive compared to other states because of the sheer volume the PLCB buys... You can order just about any item you want so long as it's 151 proof or less (so long as you buy a case). The workers are always helpful in my experience and willing to give recommendations if you are forward about what you like and usually drink. Rather than ask why they have a pension, maybe ask why you don't.

I had to explain the advertised price to which she said oh okay, rang it up again..this time the case itself was $31.98 before taxes. Again I told her THIER OWN advertised price 10 feet away and she explained that the $6 difference was "taxes" to which I kindly explained that 6% sales tax does not equate to a 24% difference. Also that was the item price before taxes - final cost was over $33. Sorry for long explanation but this will legitimately happen to you if you go here. They will rip you off unless you say something and then they'll try again. Do not give these people your business - plenty of other places in the area.

I went to make a $65.00 purchase of a case of Guiness Stout Beer. After making the purchase I asked…read morefor a receipt and was told by the person on duty that that business did not give receipts for purchases. Finding this fishy I immediately returned the item and asked for a refund and the merchant agreed but refused my request to provide written proof that he had in fact cancelled the sale. At that point I called my credit union to report what happened after realizing that in spite of the cancellation the purchase had appeared on my bank statement as a pending transaction. I was advised by the credit union that if the cancellation was made the funds would be returned to my account within forty hours. I had my phone on speaker mode so the merchant heard every word I was saying to my credit union and repeated for the union rep that he had indeed cancelled the sale and that my funds would be returned to me. This was this past Friday and the credit union rep said within earshot of the merchant that if the transaction went through and the funds were still not returned to my account today, Monday, to call in and dispute the charge. This morning the funds were out of my account which means the business completed the transaction on its end even though the merchant on duty at the business told both myself and the credit union rep that he had cancelled the sale even though he had not, That's why I am posting this review and will be posting it elsewhere because to pull something like this proves that the business is dishonest and should be avoided at all cost. The place is set up well, they have a clean interior, things are labeled and easy to find and the cooler while small, still has plenty of imports and craft instead of just BMC. The people running the register are able to give the kind of I expect from a case store and I didn't go asking for special orders so I didn't test them too much. I consider the selection pretty decent for the area since they had some recent seasonals it shows they rotate the stock. I would stop in here for a case if I was in the area, but there are place with just as good prices and better selection that I prefer.

The selection and prices are great and they actively post sales and promos on Facebook which makes it convenient. The staff has been friendly every time I stop in!
