I don't often need help but I'm offered it every time I visit and by multiple people. I believe the manager recognizes me now just because he makes eye contact with customers. There's a lot to be said for culture and this store has a warm environment. The grooming salon always accommodates, the store and restrooms are clean. Banfield, my chosen vet for my older dogs, is located in the store. I'm thankful for their pet adoption events and even though I have never supported selling pets, the areas are at least clean. There is a wide range of food and items for pets so we always find what we're looking for.

I completed the background screening and then contacted the store to explain that I currently only had a birth certificate and school ID available for onboarding. I was informed that those documents were not sufficient and that the store could not wait for me to obtain a formal ID, so the job offer was withdrawn the same day. I was disappointed because I had only been hired a few hours earlier and was actively trying to resolve the document issue. I have always enjoyed working with animals and was excited about the opportunity to contribute to pet care services in Washington. The experience left me feeling discouraged because I was enthusiastic about the role and believed I could have been a valuable employee. While I understand businesses have hiring requirements and deadlines, I wish there had been more flexibility or communication regarding the timeline before the offer was rescinded.

I think of the tv show with the celebrity fish tank creators... because these guys babysit your fish! Just recently, we had to have our floors resurfaced and it took months to find the right folks so Malawi took care of our fish.... And I noticed they take care of other folks fish (vacationing, home remodeling, etc.) and if the fish look sick.... They are the EMERGENCY ROOM for I'll fish!!! No joking

I called at 8:05 on Monday morning because I had ran out of feed for my cattle. He asked when I needed it by and I told him that I ran out on Friday and I needed it as soon as they could deliver it. He said they would see what they could do. When I got home I asked my wife if they happened to make it out today and she said they were here before 1:00 for delivery. Now I'm not around the corner. I'm a good 40 miles away.
