I think Eleda is a great choice for someone moving to Pine Mountain Lake from outside of the area…read more I've purchased two properties with Eleda as my realtor and I would like to share the reasons why both of those experiences have been very positive. We moved from the Bay Area to Pine Mountain Lake because we wanted to escape the some of the negatives of the urban area and since we work from home, and all we need is an internet connection for our business, the move made a lot of sense. Our first experience with Eleda was a couple of years ago when we purchased a lot. It was a relatively small sale but she worked hard and was able to give us very valuable information that was helpful in making a final decision. Also, being a romantic I wanted to close on my wife's birthday and she made that happen for us! We had started designing a house to build on the lot but it became clear to me that there were lots of houses available for purchase that offered real value relative to building. Eleda started showing us some houses so we could consider our options before building. As she drove us around I was amazed at her depth of knowledge about this area. She would say things like "I sold that house a number of times" and then give us the story about another. It was with this information that helped us make some really good decisions. In the fall of 2017 it is a buyer's market in PML but as we started to zero in on a particular house it had at least two other interested parties. We made a quick decision and Eleda helped us put in an offer on a Saturday night. It was her knowledge of the market, the property history and having a relationship with other realtors in the area that really helped us turn that offer into an accepted offer. After the offer was accepted it was on us to do our due diligence. Eleda continued to be extremely helpful. The house had a well and the well needed to be inspected and the water tested. The company that put in the well (the obvious choice to do the inspection) was not available to do the inspection and all the other well companies were very busy. Eleda was able to call in a favor and get it inspected within our 30-day window. One of the benefits of using Eleda is her connections within the community. I'm used to going on-line to get whatever I want but up here it's all about relationships and who you know. She is connected! The house we chose had foundation problems that were resolved but we wanted to know the specifics so we could judge any future risk. Eleda shined in this area because although she has a construction background, she wasn't able to understand the engineering report or the resulting guarantee. She pushed it and the other realtor wasn't helpful so she called the engineering company and had them explain it to her. It wasn't easy getting that information but she showed her tenacity and we were satisfied that we had a secure foundation. If you're coming to PML from outside the area( or even if you're local) I highly recommend Eleda, she has the knowledge, contacts, and work ethic to make it a positive experience.

Tom was hired to sell our home after a divorce. Worst nightmare of my life. No listening…read morehappened. No caring about my needs. No positive communication. None. Zero. Tom only spoke to my ex- husband and told me that he would have to ask my ex's opinion on every step of the process. He was unbelievably rude at every step along the way. He told me I was sick, pathetic, stupid and that I needed mental health counseling. The emails were horrendous as well. He hung up on me during phone convos, after speaking several 4-letter words. He spoke kindly only to my ex. And I was the client too. That SOB made tens of thousands of dollars off the sale of our home. I reported his unacceptable behavior to the county Real Estate Association who reprimanded him. Be very careful hiring a real estate "professional " if you're looking to buy or sell in Groveland. Oh yes, he threatened me as well.

First, they would not take my word on dishes left in the dish washer when I arrived. They had the audacity to charge me for not putting away dishes though. They took their cleaners word, which is such a personal insult. Not to mention, their cleaners left a note asking for tips on check in....I already paid a $450 fee. Seriously? Their cleaning procedures aren't safe with COVID. They don't sanitize dishes after previous tenants, I'm sure the tenants aren't wearing gloves to put them away. The blankets aren't washed, only the bedsheets are. In this day and age, this is concerning. The house itself was beautiful, but the whole check in/out process and having to deal with their customer service was agitating. Never have I felt so insulted by airbnb hosts. Not to mention, the booking was over 2.5k...way to slip in more fees afterwards. I dealt with both employees and the owners themselves. Truly disappointed and would never recommend.

On top of our pricey stay, we paid a $50 fee to stay in the community. This is fine, but everytime we came back, we still needed to wait in the long visitor line only to be waved in once they see our pass. There's got to be a better way. 2. Visitors also don't have electronic passes, so there's a strict path that you can drive or else you'll hit a gate that you can't go through and is owner only. This means often a 10m drive to your house. It also meant driving around the entire lake to get to Fisherman's Cove because the closer paths are owners only. (Fisherman's Cove and Marina Beach are very pretty though!) 3. To play pickleball, you'd think it'd be covered under the $50 fee? But no, it's another $8pp/day. So for a 4 person game, it'll cost $32. This is more expensive than renting a court in Santa Monica!
