This is a mixed bag for me. I had to stay overnight in Istanbul because of an early morning flight and limited connection options, so I pre-booked a room landside so I could access my suitcase. It was very very expensive for what it was. I had booked a queen room, which was a tiny pod of a room that felt like something from a space movie that didn't even have a window, just a glowing panel that was supposed to feel window-like. The real problem for me was that the room I was assigned had bed bugs. I always carefully check my hotel room when I first arrive, and I am glad that I did this because there were blood stains all over the bedding under the sheets, and there was even a squashed bug under the mattress. I immediately took photos and left. While this would be typically a 1-star experience, the men at the front desk salvaged things. They were so alarmed by my story and the photos that they immediately upgraded me to a larger room (which checked out to be clean, but I still kept my stuff packed and away from all soft surfaces just out of an abundance of caution), and they tried to offer late checkout or breakfast, neither of which I could do. I appreciated how seriously they took my complaints, but I definitely think this is a place you should approach with reasonable caution. Also, the hotel restaurant is astronomically priced. I had a plate of pasta, a bottle of water, and 2 glasses of wine, and the total was $87 USD. read more

Nice place to escape the crowd if you have a long 10-hour layover like me. They have hourly rates for those of us who don't have access to a lounge and want to get away from people. Traveling through these airports can sometimes take a toll on me, so it's nice to be able to escape the crowd and get refreshed with sleep and a shower. I am definitely doing this again if I am ever here longer than 6 or 7 hours. The room is clean, and they even give you slippers to wear. 4 Stars! read more

The Turkish business lounge did not have any rooms to take a nap in which brought me here...tired and sleepy. There was a long line and it moved super slow!! They were taking like 15 minutes per person which was frustrating. The front desk folks were nonchalant and did not show any urgency. I also kicked myself for not booking the room in advance and paying 50% less. The room was clean and better than I expected. Definitely better than sitting in the lounge for 6 hours. read more

I was expecting to settle for a hole in the wall but Yotel Landside was a breath of fresh air midst the Istanbul Airport action. Check in was simple and fast, room larger than I thought and very clean, bed very comfortable and I loved playing with the fun mood lights. Super convenient - especially if you have an early international flight that requires in person check in. Their restaurant Komyuniti was just okay with service lacking and pricing more US than Turkey. I'd highly recommend staying at Yotel Landside for a convenient comfortable airport stay! read more

We called a few days before our arrival. We reserved a room for 8-hours. The check-in was smooth. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is so refreshing to have a shower and a 6 hour sleep in a long layover. Would definitely do it again! read more

My wife and I stayed here for a 20 hour layover. Everything was amazing! The service was great, I accidentally booked the land side Yotel, but the lady at the airside one was kind enough to transfer our room over. The rooms are extremely comfortable and full of all the amenities that you need! 10/10 read more

I have a long layover here in Istanbul. Luckily I stumble to this amazing place! Good staff and the room/ bed is very clean. Strong wifi and able to work and rest! Price was not bad by the hour. A lot cheaper than paying for lounge access. However, it depends on what you need. For me is the quite place to work and sleep(i don't want to leave the bed!). read more

Incredibly convenient as this hotel is located inside the terminal, so its perfect for overnight or long layovers. All you have to do is check out and walk to your gate. It was perfect for an overnight layover. Staff was extremely friendly. Room had everything I needed. I only give it 4 stars because the bed was not comfortable. But beats sleeping in an airport chair any day! You can also pay by the hour, which is great. read more

This is a layover hotel, not very expensive at that (charged hourly, under $200 per full night), and judged as such. There are essentially two hotels: "airside" - past security, and "landside" - outside the security perimeter, this review is for airside. The entrance is located in the shopping area close to the center of the terminal (past the security or "transfer" gates). The rooms have "futuristic" and very utilitarian décor, the color lighting is amusing. Pros: a near-isolation from sound and light is possible, the mattress is of good quality - both provide for very good rest. Location is as good as it gets, check-in and check-out process is efficient, room has a large size, shower and toilet are separated, very usable desk allows for some work done. Cons: the amenities are barebone - don't expect robes or slippers, shampoo and soap are in large dispensers attached to the walls. The light switches are very confusing; groping for them in the complete darkness is not amusing. Overall: will definitely use again if need few hours of sleep at the gorgeous Istanbul airport. read more

The facilities are amazing. It's a hotel that's ideal for quick layovers. Few comments though: 1. Whilst the rate is more expensive than the HotelAir by Eur 20, I didn't like the idea that there are misleading marketing from your advertisements. * The complimentary hot drinks are not available in the Landside * The hi-tech bed did not work 2. The grills of the air condition in room 3129 has molds! For a new hotel, this is unacceptable. 3.  We have placed a wake-up call at 6am But got the call at 630. No apologies. Luckily it is a tour that we are catching and not a flight. If not it would have been a disaster. Nevertheless, the stay was a short and sweet. read more

Convenient but pricey hotel. Good for long layovers if you dont have lounge access. Rates vary from ~170€/night. You can also get hourly rentals with a minimum block of 4 hours. We rented a larger queen room for 6 hours for 120€. They also have an attached lounge with buffet and drinks including alcohol. The room was nice, well appointed. Bed with lifting headrest. The TV and lighting are hi tech but we couldn't get any of the channels to work. Shower is nice, but leaks some water into the rest of the bathroom. Would give a higher rating if the room had a view and if we didn't hear all the noise in the hallway continously. Likely would stay here again. But keep in mind that if you are travelling economy on Turkish and your layover is longer than 9 hours, the airline will put you up in a hotel for free, including those outside the airport. read more

Stayed here for an overnight flight. Got in line at 12:30 and didn't get seen until 1:40 am. Had a reservation & saw people getting turned away because they didn't have one wasting our time in line. I understand this is not a fancy hotel but it's a waste of time if you paid for a hotel to avoid sitting in an airport when that's exactly what I did for an hour & ten minutes! read more

Rooms are so small a bed can barely fit. They will sell you rooms on the airside and if you can't get your boarding pass, won't transfer your room to the landslide without a fee. Do not recommend unless you're 5 feet tall. read more

We stayed here on our layover from Mongolia. We checked in at 3pm and were told check in is not until 8pm. But if you pay 65 Euros cash you can check in now and check out is at 9am. Got no receipt for the 65 Euros and they would not put it on a credit card. Paid over $300 for the room which was barebones. So not worth the money. Besides the front desk people were not very friendly. Only good thing about it was it was in the airport. read more
