Had to go to Spectrum for a new cable account and this gem is located right beside them. Very quaint, locally owned and in business 6 years. Love the decor in this place - so much character! I ordered a latte to go which was perfectly executed - especially the temperature which was hot but not scald your mouth hot. There are also breakfast & lunch items, but I didn't have time to stick around unfortunately. There were quite a few customers inside and there's also an outside table, which was really nice for this time of year. The owner (I'm guessing) was very informative and pleasant. I'll be moving permanently to this area soon and really look forward to having a locally owned place to frequent for a good quality cup of coffee and maybe even a side to go with it. read more

So we were going to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast until our B&B hosts mentioned You and Me Coffee and Tea was owned by the same folks who owned Wrigley's Taphouse. We were not disappointed. Great coffee culture - including pour-overs and housemate syrups. The food was delicious! I had a hot ham and cheese, which came with the most amazing red pepper-garlic pesto, and was panini-style. I'm still dreaming of that sandwich... The inside of the shop is seriously an Instagrammer's dream. I'll have many many many photos on social media (including on my Pinterest account) at some point because it's idea heaven. I still can't get over finding a place like this in small-town Corbin. There's something special happening here. You should go. read more

We drove 30 minutes out of our way to get here because the reviews were so positive. We were unfortunately underwhelmed. Everything was just ok. The drinks were a little more expensive than expected, the espresso was overly bitter and the atmosphere was sorely lacking (although there is real promise). The whole place just felt dirty and dusty. Maybe they're renovating or something, but there weren't any signs or reasons given. It just looked messy and a little sad. That said, it does hold potential if a vision is pursued and executed well. read more

You & Me Coffee & Tea is no more. The new business is Folktale. We stopped by around 3:15om on a Sunday afternoon passing through on the interstate. The prior establishment Yelp site says open till 6:00pm. New place actually closed at 3:00pm. Nonetheless, these gents stopped closing cleanup to treat us exceptionally well and sold us some drip coffee even though the main machine was shut down. The staff was way above average on friendliness and hospitality despite the natural tendency to simply want to lock the doors and go home. Will definitely be stopping by my next time through. read more

Nice atmosphere and clean shop. Hot chocolate was HOT, as requested, and satisfying with the extra chocolate. Cubano Breve was smooth, not overly sweet and the coffee came through. Sadly, the cinnamon rolls had an hour left to bake so we didn't get to try those. Settled on a blueberry muffin and lemon pound cake. Both had good flavor but were dry (@10am). I also got a short decaf Americano to go. The decaf espresso finished with a bitter note which was disappointing. Will we return? Most likely as it had good points and we much prefer local small businesses over chains. Maybe we will score one of the rolls others have raved about. BTW:when we went, the only food items were bakery sweets and bagels. read more

Road trip up 75 and needed good coffee and a snack. You and Me Coffee's location fit. Easy to find and park, great space, friendly staff. Espresso and cappuccino were tasty, wife's Cuban Sammy looked awesome! Experience 5 stars for above. 3 stars for the $6 basil tomato grilled cheese. All ingredients were fresh, generous slices of bread that were perfectly grilled. However, the entire sandwich was built with only 2 butt end slices of tomato, 2 basil leaves, and 2 small slices of cheese. All ingredients were in the middle of the sandwich so the center was tasty and the sides were literally nothing but bread for a good two inches on each side. Bummer. read more

This is a really cute coffee shop in downtown Corbin. This is the best option for coffee within probably an hour or so. The coffee is really high quality and tastes like an upscale coffee shop in a big city would. We had the iced caramel latte and a hot pumpkin spice latte. Both were great. The blueberry muffin was delicious and made with fresh blueberries. Two drinks and a muffin for $11 including tax isn't bad. I would take the detour here for sure! read more

Love trying local coffee shops and glad we stopped in. It appears as though they are under renovations, which was no bother as we only popped in for a coffee to go. The place is roomy and once the reno is done, will likely be eclectic and welcoming based on the decor I see. The service was great. Staff was knowledgeable and this is not a place where they instantly service you a sugar laden drink (although I'm sure it's available). One of my peeves about some coffee shops is explaining how I like just a touch of sweetness and then receiving a drink loaded with syrup. Not here, they listened! And to make things even more great, they use HOUSE MADE syrups. I was torn between the bourbon and maple - but I opted for an iced coffee with a touch of maple and cream. It was very good! Smooth, barely sweet, and the maple came through nicely. They offer a few baked items as well. Had we not just ate a huge lunch, the sea salt chocolate chip cookies would have came home with me. To sum it up: good coffee, not great. I have embarked on a coffee expedition and this was my third stop. The location was right downtown and I've never had any issues finding free street parking there. When you walk in it looks like a trendy coffee shop. They also served food that, while I did not get to try, looked like they had some good offerings. My one knock on the coffee was that the Latte tasted a little sour as if it was burnt or the milk steamed too long. I would also say that they were on the expensive side of coffee shops. It was $7 for a vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso. If you're in Corbin, however, this is your best bet. read more

This little coffee shop is amazing! We were driving past Corbin on the interstate and decided to make the short trek out to You and Me for a local coffee and snack. My fiancé had a plain latte which was delicious. They clearly use a good espresso and it definitely didn't need any syrups or anything in our opinion! My chai latte was great as well. The barista told us their cinnamon rolls had just come out of the oven so we got two. He said they're pretty proud of these and WOW! I can see why. DON'T SKIP THE CINNAMON ROLLS. First things first, I was so excited to find a coffee shop in a small town that was serving counter culture. The visit was worth the extra 10 minute drive off of the exit. I ordered the Kenyan. It was counter culture, and great as expected. I was also pleased to see the barista training the new hire in an appropriate V-60. You Me Too also serves tea. Even though we didn't try it out, we purchased some tea for a friend and I am assuming we will hear good things. I know that You and Me Too also makes breakfast and lunch. I don't know if I will be back in the area but I will surely try the food next time. As for environment, it seemed like it was a place for regulars. People seemed to know each other. Looking at a house in the area and saw this coffee/tea house. It was a saving grace for a place that didn't have a Starbucks near....too bad they were closed for a private party. Went to front door and people saw us trying to figure out why we couldn't get in but no one bothered to come to the door. Found the side door and after trying to open it saw the little sign that said closed for a private event. Not happy, actually fairly irritated. Hands down the best coffee around. The atmosphere is very welcoming and is seldom too busy. This is a great place to grab a cup with a few friends to catch up, to read a book or even grab a guitar to pick some strings. The blueberry muffins use fresh blueberries and are amazing! If you need a cup of coffee this is hands down the place to go. To the out of town visitors, look for parking across the street behind the strip. Parking on the road can be hard to come by. read more
