Adam reached out to me right away when I asked for help on Yelp to get my AC looked at. The thermostat was not coming on at all. I didn't tell Adam right away that he was my 2nd opinion person. After 10-15 minutes fiddling with my AC, he got it going!! The first company that came out said the circuit/control board was bad, that moisture was causing the issue, and that I needed a whole new system and it would cost me about 4K!! Appreciate honest HVAC companies that actually take the time to diagnose a problem thoroughly before pushing expensive replacement parts. I had another well know company look at my heater to see why it was short cycling. Rather than digging into the problem they recommended replacing the gas valve for $1,000 ($900 if your on their plan). The part costs $175 online and videos show the part swap taking under 30 minutes. $1,000, really? Adam came by and actually looked at the system, actually opened it up, and it turns out the gas valve is fine. Just had some water and trapped wasps in a the system causing the short cycle. $69 and bob's your uncle. read more
