After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I appreciate Kyle was on time and that the service was professional and efficient.

It's based solely on the booking process. I was able to book an appointment on Sunday for Monday morning, but they called early Monday and said they couldn't make it until Tuesday. That caused me to miss out on other companies that had Monday availability and wasted valuable time on something we needed done as soon as possible. They need to get their scheduling system figured out.

After many years with a highly advertised and expensive company, we decided to try a coupon from…read moreAny Hour Services to check our heating and cooling system. I fully expected to be told we needed a new furnace (something the other company had told us many times.) Not only did they honor the low price coupon, they checked everything, and said that though our unit was old, it was in good working condition, and they hoped to keep it that way for awhile, because some of the newer furnaces made then tended to fail. That was about six years ago, and we're still going strong with our original heating setup. We travel a lot, and wanted to get on a regular maintenance program, where Any Hour comes twice per year, and keeps everything clean and working, We can call "any hour" with any trouble or questions. It has worked well. Last month, we decided our contractor may never get around to repairing the tub that he failed to seal or finding where all the leaks were coming from, causing a roof to rain on us downstairs in the garage. We also needed to replace a brand new water heater he'd installed in our new apartment above the new garage. It constantly smelled like sulfur, and the only way to stop it was to run all 50 gallons of water out of it whenever we used it. In Mapleton, that's very expensive. We decided to get a tankless water heater, because we wouldn't have to deal with water just sitting in the tank, growing bacteria and smelling to high heaven whenever we turned on the hot water upstairs in the apartment. Any Hour fixed all the issues, including black mold on the lower floor and cracks that let black widows into the basement. They found and tackled all the problems. No more leaks or spiders! No more smelly water, and no more $300/year to keep water hot when we may not even use it for months. Andrew had discussed all the options, so we decided on a gas tankless, which would require digging a long, deep trench all the way around the house to avoid tearing up concrete. (Our neighbor's was much closer, but that wasn't going to work, either. Ha!) The project began on July 10th, and the city guy finally got here July 31st, but it didn't pass. There was a gas leak and we had to call the gas company, and then the fire department. Ugg. It was due to a faulty part, which Any Hour quickly replaced. Everything is great now, and we just need to keep leveling the trench, adjust the sprinklers, then plant grass and get the lawn to hopefully grow again. We had to repair the drywall, sprinklers and pipe, but we knew that going in, and were okay with it, because if Any Hour had hired someone, it would have been much more expensive. It was something we can do ourselves for less money, so we're glad Any Hour know that, and didn't just assume we'd go for a less hassle but more expensive option. Any Hour is now advertising a lot. I'm hoping it won't change their good prices. Communication is key. Ask, and they'll tell you! Any Hour Services also worked with us on financing this very large and detailed project, which has been very helpful. When everything hits at once, it's great to work with a business that has our backs. Eric and I highly recommend Any Hour, and we weren't paid or offered any discounts to write reviews. We want others to know we've had a great experience.

When our HVAC system failed in November 2024, we turned to Any Hour and purchased a new system through them. Unfortunately, the installation experience immediately raised concerns. The installers initially arrived with a substantially inferior unit--not the equipment we had contracted and paid to receive. We had to stop the installation and insist that Any Hour provide the specific unit listed in our contract. Because of the significant cost of the HVAC system, we accepted the financing option recommended through Any Hour and entered into a 12-month interest-free agreement with GoodLeap, LLC. We believed that, because this lender was presented as part of the purchasing process, we could reasonably trust the financing arrangement. Unfortunately, during that 12-month period, we experienced a serious medical emergency that resulted in a two-week hospitalization, and we inadvertently missed the deadline to pay the balance in full. We immediately paid the principal balance in full and contacted GoodLeap regarding the situation. Despite this, GoodLeap began withdrawing nearly $938 in deferred interest directly from our bank account via ACH. What was even more alarming was discovering that after their withdrawals exceeded the original $938 interest amount, we were told we still owed an additional $400--because they were now charging interest on top of the interest. We ultimately felt we had no choice but to file complaints with the Utah Department of Financial Institutions and Utah Consumer Protection. After more than two decades of doing business with Any Hour, this experience has completely changed our opinion of the company. We understand that Any Hour is not GoodLeap, but Any Hour recommended and facilitated a relationship with a lending partner we believed had been appropriately vetted and was reputable. Between receiving the wrong HVAC equipment initially and the deeply troubling financing experience that followed, our trust has been lost. Because of this experience, we will no longer call Any Hour for service at any of our homes or rental properties. Twenty years of loyalty should have counted for something.

Teasha is hvac not an electrician however she could get someone to come out for 260.00 to 777.00 (?) to access what's going on. Mark Cemensky arrived and stated there's no power to unit. He checked the breaker box & advised me that with 3 major appliances, the 100 amp box is basically maxed out. The recommendation is to upgrade to 200 amp box inside, new box outside, wire & permit for 10158.00 & that would get the a/c working today as it needs a 2 pull & there isn't one available. I tried reaching the homeowner with no avail. The homeowner is out of town & me not understanding what's going on. I asked Mark if this is pretty regulated or do I need to start calling around to see if I can save $. Mark replied it's pretty regulated. (Must be a master electrician to do this job) Mark could get a/c up & running today however, he's leaving tomorrow afternoon to go out of town for the weekend. Feeling out of options - I ended up signing to have work done. It took over a week to receive anything with pricing & unfortunately non specific. Meanwhile, the homeowner needs details. Needless to say, we won't be completing the job. 4200.00 for new 200 amp box & 2 breakers my cost from Lowes is 250.00 best I can tell. Bottom line - don't rush - get 3 estimates
