Moved to this area recently and haven't been able to go to the gym, so I got a membership at Youfit, At first I thought the place was a bit small because I had been used to big gyms, but I found out that this is the perfect little spot to come get my workouts in. There may not be the bandwidth of a lot of machines, but it gets the job done with what I need it to do The staff is friendly and helpful, they require towels now but masks are optional. These gyms need to update there barbaric contracts and termination clauses. There is no way to cancel your contract without owning money, paid for an additional month. AND there contact does not clarify that you won't owe them money in the future. Because no staff member will tell you clearly what your really getting into and clearly inform and disclose cancellation fees. Their 30 day request cancellation request notification is rigged, so you will still need to pay next month. read more

I want to express my disappointment in my experience using the U-coach. Overall I've received unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unconcerned treatment from 3 different coaches - all of which gave me an evaluation and charged it as a session. The pin that was given to Anthony by each coach is not the private pin that I had created, instead they used the last 4 digits of my phone number. To my disappointment and surprise this was not noticed until my last session with Victor. I am utterly displease with the procedures taking place in this establishment, the team has lost my trust. The management changes that have occurred have created a team that just seems to want to scam it's clients. I say this because the experience with each coach has left me at awe. Starting with Anthony whom I created the pin with. He is the one that must have changed my personal private pin to the last 4 of my phone number. Victor noticed the pin I was giving him was not going through and he had the idea to try the last 4 of my phone and that worked. You should check on this as it may be something that is being done under the rug. I also scheduled 5 am personal training sessions that both Anthony and Victor would either come late to or not show up at all... Then with Victor, when he left the company I was never informed nor contacted by the new U-coach that was assigned to me. If there was even one assigned. Victor had stoped following up on me for about two weeks when he finally texted me saying "sorry I haven't been answering, I've quit". I have yet to receive a phone call to notify me of my personal trainer leaving. When Victor was not available to service my scheduled training session, he would pass me on to another coach. The other coach would not continue with my progress plan but instead waste my time with another evaluation. I've had a total of 3 sessions wasted on evaluations. As you can see, I never truly received personal training. This is not the professionalism that I was expecting. No one cared to guide me and assist me towards reaching the goal. At this point I would like to move forward to cancelling my complete u-coach training and receive a full refund. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I started working out here 6 months ago and I can honestly say that it has been one of the better experiences I've had with gyms. The staff is always friendly and ready to help whenever you need it. They offer personal training with amazing coaches who are well trained and genuinely want to help. I would highly recommend this place to any new gym-goer. read more

To Whom It May Concern: This is the second time we go to the club to freeze my account. The first time that I went to the club to freeze my account they told me that I needed to bring a letter from the doctor stating that my sister was pregnant in order to cancel my account. At the time I didn't have the letter so I came back for a second time. In order for me to make it to the gym I had to leave work early to be able to get the letter and get the gym cancelled. When getting. There with the letter it took 2 people to help me out Kendall and Anna. Both lost and not knowing any of the policies. After 20 mins of going back and forth they brought in the "Store Manager - VANESSA" to again have to explain the situation. She then tells me that it can't be done because it's not my sisters account. This isn't the information that was given to me nor my sister. Why make us waste so much time and energy, plus gas money to drive there. Also why is it that we have to be part of a staff that isn't trained. If we would of know that from the beginning we wouldn't of had came. She then stated that she is new to the gym and that she is trying to fix that problem. To be honest this isn't something that I care about because why should the client feel whatever issues the gym is going through. I'm currently on my way to cancel my account and also my friends account as well. I will be filing a formal complaint to the Bbb.org and getting to the bottom of this. Cancelled my membership and was still charged TWICE; one was an annual fee in which they were closed for 6 months and I cancelled way before. I can't hold certain things against this YouFit. This location has no control over that guy who wears toe shoes who regularly hijacks one of the two benches for an hour and a half to shadow box. Or that no one reracks their weight. Or that multiple people wear sunglasses inside. Or the four stooges who can't do a full rep of anything if their lives depended on it. Sure, the prices arguably attract people of this caliber but I can't hold that against them. Let's focus on why this is the worst YouFit I've ever visited. I would give it less than one star if I could.Unbelievably cramped. There's no plate loaded leg press?!? I have been to five other locations and all of them have this machine! For the four months I have been visiting this location, the bathrooms have smelled like a port o potty on the last day of a heavy metal music festival. This is especially perplexing because whenever I have gone there the cleaning ladies manage to always be there interrupting my workout. A problem that has not existed in any of the other locations in which I have been. Then there's the trainers. The aforementioned weight reracking fiasco could be their fault as I have seen them leave weights around when training one-on-one. No wonder so many people collect dumbbells and never return them or leave weight on the barbell as if it's the next person's problem. They are being taught this! If you have the means, go somewhere else. I'd say you get what you pay for but these problems do not exist at other YouFit locations. Have a New Years resolution to finally get in shape? Don't waste your time trying to achieve that here. You will only end up frustrated, misinformed, and with a skewed view of the fitness lifestyle. read more

Went here to work out on a Sunday and Tiffany is super rude, comes up to you and harasses you while you are working out over small things. The management in this place needs to check their associates. Matter of fact, I've never seen a manager on duty, I feel like there is a lack of leadership here. Know your place Tiffany. Be careful signing up! for months I've had an issue with them charging me. they have no customer-service people you can speak with the club says the only one that can help is corporate office but you have to email them and even after emailing multiple times I still haven't got a call-back. They are very deceptive in their practice's when signing up and will absolutely do-nothing to help you if you have an issue at any level. read more

I've been coming to youfit for about a year now. Great gym has everything I need, staff really friendly. So I go early in the morning when the gym isn't so packed and everyone that's there is serious about their workouts. In the evenings gym is super packed and a bunch of high school kids that come more to socialize and take stupid selfies, and take up all the machines. My only complaint about this gym is that the cleaning crew will clean a machine while your on it, it's very distracting and annoying... At least the place a super clean I guess, just wish they would wait until I'm done with it. Oh and there is only 2 showers in the restrooms so if your planing on showering to go to work after its risky because someone might be using them and you'll have to wait and risk getting to work late. This gym has a lot of potential and is very convenient for me. They have a wide variety of machines, both cardio and weights. Their free weight selection is pretty limited, but they have all of the essentials. They don't have all the bells and whistles of the larger clubs like a pool, sauna/steam room, sport courts or aerobic classes BUT they do offer free circuit training classes a few times a week now. Their membership price and personal training sessions are very reasonably priced which makes it affordable for most budgets. I absolutely love my personal trainer and all of the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been training for 2 months and am really impressed with my experience so far! read more

Love this youfit! I train with Arthur on a weekly basis and I cannot say how happy I am. Yes, it's a small location but Youfit gyms aren't super gyms so if that's what you're looking for go to an LA fitness. Nice ambience and always greeted with a smile by the kids at the front desk. I drive all the way from Westchester to come here and I happen to have two Youfits closer so that just tells you how much I love the Quail Roost location! read more

Very disappointed with this place and their incompetent workers. (except for Luis, he is an amazing personal trainer and actually showed up on time for my workout sessions), however; Mr.Waggs, biggest liar ever!! I just recommend people to read the contract, do not believe in whatever they offer you, because it has nothing to do with the contract. They tell you oh you're signing for this and that, all BS!!! This guy screwed me over, and I end up paying more than $1200 for three months. When the first question I asked was can I cancel my personal trainer at any time?. " oh yes! of course you can!" BS... If you are low on cash and need a gym, Youfit may be your best bet. This location is much smaller than the others. Parking far is usually necessary, but to me that's not a big deal. I really wish they would be able to expand and rent the empty spaces next to them. There is not much variety in equipment when you compare to gyms like 24 hour fitness and UFC, but it gets the job done. They do have the quick 30 minute workout section, but most people don't use it as intended. People usually just go on one of the machines if the others are taken in the main area, and I don't blame them. Sometimes it's a long wait until a machine is open. During weeknights, even finding a treadmill can be tough. If you get the Lime card it's great because you can visit other locations. There are some locations that have Zumba and HITT classes. For a list of those locations and classes just check out their website. Overall, this isnt a bad gym, just small. The front desk is generally filled with kind employees that welcome you and make sure to wish you a good workout. This is something my other gym didn't do, so it's a nice touch. read more
