Greenwood Christian preschool was a part of my sons life since he was 6 months old. Ms. Nita and her staff have always been kind, caring, and loving to our son and treated him like family. He was always happy to go here and we always felt he was well taken care of. Ms. Nita and her staff noticed some developmental delays at 6 months and were supportive on helping us get assistance for him early. They took the time to provide him more individualized attention when needed. They helped to implement the recommendations from his therapists and kept an open line of communication about his behavior and progress. My family is very appreciative of this. As far as basics, they offer a full curriculum and VERY competitive pricing. The owner, Ms. Nita is always there, a BIG plus in an era of corporate ownership where they typically just hire a manger. She is a wonderful person with a passion for helping others. I cannot say enough good things about this place and we will miss it very much (we moved). Of note: we have randomly met so many people who have had their children here and they all say wonderful things, including our new next door neighbor. It is amazing how many people have been touched by going here. Of note #2: my son was moved to a new school for summer interaction and has already been subject to neglect, so we have will be moving him again. This school was much more expensive, a newer building, and had cameras. Obviously this did not matter. Just another reason why we miss this place so much!

My son started first and just grew so confident and learned so many things from this school. My daughter started after and she is getting this blossoming personality and just lights up when she sees her teachers. The owners and front office staff are the best humans and are willing to work with you. The best communication. This will always be the "the one that got away". Wish I could bring this school with me in my move. I want thank everyone at Klein-Spring Montessori for every single minute. You have been one family to me and we will miss you.

Disappointed to say the least! Just like everyone else, I saw all twenty positive reviews and was…read moreexcited to take my 2 year old , mind you I was FULLY transparent with the staff that this is his first experience with ANY form of childcare and that he is an only child who has hardly ever been around his peers. The school does what they call "transition days" I was explained it was 2 hours long for 2 days. Day 1, I take him and as expected we are both anxious I was worried the whole time expecting my son was high stressed, to my surprise I picked him up an hour later as instructed, and he was playing with the toys and engaging with his teacher, not crying not crying or fussing. Sandy, the owner (beware) explained that she was concerned and used verbiage like "I'm not sure if he's capable..." in reference to my child adapting socially. He is two and as they explained he is already ahead of their curriculum but we have struggled with the social aspect. She then implied to that ny two year old may have ASD or ADHD based on a single hour long interaction because he wasn't responding to His name for her. After ONE time around his for less than 2 hours. She said she didn't know if it would be a good fit after that 1 time. However, She suggested we try him in the class for two year old rather than the 3 year old Class he was in so he didn't regress. Her verbiage and response to My toddler naturally rubbed me the wrong way so I shopped around and prayed on it. I decided to entertain her theory of the toddler 2 class despite her obvious frustrations, since the directors were not the teachers. After taking him for the 2nd time I was immediately greeted with an eerie smile showing their clear discomfort that I was back with my toddler. She told me he couldn't eat the breakfast I brought although their rules are to provide their meals she wouldn't let me say bye and the later told me it won't be a good fit based on atom of contradicting statements. Just like most parents my baby is my world to be mistreated or given up on after a max of 2 hours total is disheartening. All children are not accustomed to childcare or exposed to other children. The behavior for Middle Aged women who are running a facility for out kids was disgusting. I want my son to be in a nurturing environment where he is given grace and patience rather than one of hostility and hopelessness for his future.

I was really excited to start my 2 year old son at this Montessori school. Unfortunately, after…read morejust a month I had to pull him out due to ongoing safety concerns. Their lack of communication between the morning and afternoon teacher, and ultimately to me the parent, was horrific. I was told repeatedly by his afternoon teachers they didn't know what had happened when their was a cut or bruise. I'm sure the cuts and bruises were all innocent enough, but I also know what other daycare standards are and Greystone House Montessori proved to be far below par in comparison. I would be extremely cautious before starting your child here. I'm usually not one to leave a review but since this is a place where people leave their most precious assets on a daily basis I felt it was necessary. The following were my concerns and experience with Greystone House Montessori: - Week 1 and 2: I found a few small scratches on my son and I wasn't told about them. -Week 3: Monday he came home with a few more scratches. I wasn't told about them. I contemplated bringing them up the next day, not because they were big, but because he kept getting scratched and I wasn't being told. This made me think his teachers hadn't seen them, and if they hadn't seen them, were they paying enough attention to him? Tuesday as I picked my son up and began walking out I saw a scratch that went from the middle of his chest to his armpit. I hadn't been told about it. I walked back and asked what happened to him. I was told they didn't know and he hadn't cried all day. His teacher said she did notice it after his nap but thought it looked old. His chest was bright red where the scratch was. Wednesday I picked my son up and noticed he had 2 small but deep cuts behind his ear. Again, I wasn't told about them. I walked back in and found the assistant director. I told her what had been happening and showed her my sons scratches. She said she wasn't sure why I didn't get an incident report for the cuts behind his ear and that she would find out what was happening. Thursday I was called and informed that after speaking with his morning teacher my son and 2 other students really liked to play together. They assume the scratches were happening during play time and would talk to the parents to remind them to keep their kids nails short. They also said they would work with the kids about gentle hands. Friday as I got to daycare his teacher was cleaning 2 cuts on his face that were bleeding. When I asked what happened she said she didn't know he hadn't cried. I did get an accident report. The assistant director also called to check in. Week 4 -Towards the end of the week I got off early and got to the daycare just as my son sat down to eat his afternoon snack. I sat next to him to let him finish. His teachers (2 in the classroom) were handing out food and watching the children. Most of which were sitting at their tables, 2 children were still sleeping on their cots. A little girl in front of me put too much food in her mouth and began to gag until she threw up. His teachers hadn't noticed so I told them. They both took her to the attached bathroom leaving the other children unattended. One came back a minute or so later. As my son finished his snack and we began to leave, I noticed one of the sleeping boys get up and walk to the outside door to play on the playground. He pushed the door open and stood their holding the door. I waited a minute to see if his teachers had noticed. They hadn't. The final week, I picked my son up on Wednesday and as I was putting him in the car I noticed a small bruise on his head and a band-Aid on his elbow. I wasn't told about either. I went back to ask what had happened and again was told she didn't know but she had noticed the bruise on his head. The assistant director called and told me while playing outside my son fell but his morning teacher didn't think he fell hard enough to leave a bruise. That was the final straw for me. Any head injury, big or small, mark or not, should be reported to the parent even if it is just verbally upon leaving. The staff seem to be lacking basic safety training and communication skills both with each other and the parents.

It's amazing to see that great education can start with such young children. I'm a doctor and the fine motor development of the infants at this school was spectacular. I'm extremely excited to see my child grow and learn in such an incredible environment! I'd like to quickly mention the teachers, Mrs Revathy and Mrs Sarah. They are so patient with the kids and really treat them like their own. Its hard to leave your kids in anothers care. Trust me though, you can't choose better than greystone!

The staff treated my children as if their voices needed to be silenced and was never allowed to voice when they were getting bulled by the non-minority there. My children were referred to in racial terms by other children there even went as far as my children being referred to as "Monkeys." When the staff was informed, they allowed that child still to attend this facility. The director did not try to offer relief but instead threatened to stop care for my children due to me speaking up and voicing my discomfort. I have really tried to resolve this but my voice of me and my children is being silenced. WELL I was wrong because not only did the front office staff: Ms. Stewart & Ms.Maya made sure we felt welcomed and listen to ALL concerns, questions and thoughts I was having but they even made sure that they stayed very transparent and communicated with me and understanding my children and myself needs. When it came to the room she was aged to be she met Ms. Keisha and Since BEFORE my daughter Anais was even put in her class, Ms. Keisha has always shown patience, drive, empathy & most important UNDERSTANDING. When it came to Anais. A little back story about Anais is she is a 2 yr old Level 3 AUTISTIC child who is also partial deaf, she was also nonparticipating, immobile, introverted, nonverbal very shy, and timid child. A year and a month later; Anais speaks some words, participates, plays with other classmates and LOVES outside time with her classmates. Ms. Keisha has not only worked with her on developmental obstacles, learning appropriate age behavior skills but as well as performing in the class and working with her one on one; She also includes Anais in EVERYTHING the class does and makes her feel comfortable and confident to try the same things independently. I can't thank the staff enough for all they done for all my children but most importantly a huge special heartfelt thank you to Ms.Stewart & Ms.Keisha. Everyday that comes and it's time to drop off my children I no longer have that worry feeling inside or calling throughout the day checking to make sure she is ok. When it came to my youngest child Amira; Ms. Milagro ( aka abuela ) knocks it out park! Amira has been going since she was 4 weeks old and literally has grown up at this facility. Amira cries when it's time for Ms Milagro to leave for the day and walks in looking for her every morning. She not only understands Spanish, yet she also strives to do what her big sister does! Amira is learning colors, painting and more!!!! These three women are phenomenal and they know what they are doing! (Ms. Stewart, Ms. Keisha & last but most definitely not least Ms. Milagro) THANK YOU ALL. This is why I love and will recommend Big Dreams Lil Wonders Christian Academy to any/everyone.
