Dr. Young is amazing!! Not only do I feel better after an appointment but I always look forward to catching up with her and she is so friendly and personable with her patients. She understands my body and what I need to stay in top shape and if I ever have health questions I feel comfortable asking her. I have been going every 2-3 weeks for a little over a year and in that time my health and mobility have drastically improved. Dr. Young and her practice got me back to marathon training after more than 7 months off. I had running-induced vertigo over the course of a year that eventually made running anything over a mile impossible. I spent several months going to ENT, cardiology, and neurology consultations to ultimately be told "we can't find anything wrong" (which as a marathon runner was heart breaking to hear). Seeing a chiropractor wasn't something I had ever considered, but it was definitely one of only a few options left to try. I was able to make an appointment fast and after a brief initial consultation was able to start getting my neck adjusted that same day. Within two adjustments, I was able to run 3 times in one week with no issues! No vertigo, no nausea, nothing! Since then, my adjustments have allowed me to resume training, something I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do anymore. All of her treatments felt safe and Dr. Young made such a point to listen to my concerns, letting me be involved with my own treatment decisions. I could write a book about Dr. Young and her staff. I was at my wits end with trying to figure out what was going on with me. I had seen countless doctors, and no one could give me an answer. I went to Dr. Young, and her former colleague, as a last resort for acupuncture. It turned out that it was an ingredient I was ingesting on a regular basis that was the cause. By eliminating that ingredient, and adding chiropractic care, the paid started subsiding after a few months. Within 6-9 months, I almost felt like different person. For 2+ years I sought help in, and out, of Champaign-Urbana. In a short amount of time, Dr. Young and staff were able to help me. I continue to go for maintenance, and will as long as I possibly can.
