She required extractions, implants, and ultimately crowns--a process that understandably required multiple appointments over an extended period of time. Throughout her treatment, Dr. Rigby's bedside manner was noticeably lacking. On one occasion, my wife was left sitting in the dental chair for more than an hour after being numbed and prepared for treatment. No apology was offered, nor was there any effort made to communicate the delay or check on her well-being. The office staff also appeared consistently disorganized when handling her case. Because this treatment stemmed from a workplace injury, it was being processed through Workers' Compensation rather than personal insurance. Despite this being clearly established from the beginning, we found ourselves having to remind the staff at nearly every appointment that the claim was work-related and should not be billed to us personally. What is most frustrating is that years later, we were sent to collections over a disputed balance of $294.17 and subsequently served with a lawsuit. Considering the extensive treatment history and the repeated billing confusion created by the office, it was shocking to see such an aggressive approach taken over such a small amount. Dishearteningly, throughout this experience my wife and I often felt unwelcome and disrespected. As a married lesbian couple and members of the LGBTQ+ community, we left multiple interactions feeling that we were not afforded the same courtesy, compassion, and professionalism that every patient deserves. Whether intentional or not, the overall tone and treatment we received created an environment that felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Healthcare settings should be places where all patients feel safe, supported, and valued, regardless of sexual orientation or family structure. Staff is always amazing and kind and Dr. Young is very thorough in his plans. He gave me pros and cons and offered varying solutions. PLUS they have monthly payment plans while the kids are in braces, which is helpful even with Orthodontic Insurance. Just finished up treatment on the younger two and have some happy boys!

(That part you guys have dialed in). When I scheduled, I specifically mentioned that to the person taking the appt. & and let her know me or my husband would be coming to the appt. with her. Appointment day comes, my husband goes to the appt. & the offices are closed, we thought maybe they were just closed for lunch, nope, it turns out they scheduled us at their Redwood location. When I called to inquire about it, I got someone named Nancy, and oh gosh; this woman has the MOST crusty demeanor, attitude, and absolutely would not acknowledge they maybe made a mistake, zero accountability & zero effs given to provide customer service & help me resolve it. I actually spoke to the Dr. - although he offered to make it right, and rescheduled us for the next day at Cottonwood, we just did not feel we wanted to risk it. Also; our other daughter went to the Cottonwood location a few weeks prior; the experience wasn't great, poor front desk & patient satisfaction overall. To the dentist that owns this place: my advice - re-train your staff & raise your expectations of how they treat your patients. You're in a PRIME location in Cottonwood Heights, but we chose to drive to West Jordan for care, due to this poor interaction. I know you guys can do better!!! Being "understaffed" is a BS reason/excuse and does not sit well with us, especially coming in as BRAND NEW 1st time patients. Going to the dentist gives a lot of people anxiety, and this entire experience did nothing to assuage that for us. Every other dentist wanted to remove the teeth completely and leave my smile line with missing teeth! I went to dr Tuttle and he was able to save them wIth two root canals! The root canals were done on the same day and were done so smoothly that I wasn't even in pain the next day. He made sure that during the procedure I was plenty numb as to not feel anything. He is very knowledgeable and never pressures you into doing anything other than what you came in for. He provided pain relief for at home as needed. I will be back for all my dental needs

However, my consultation with Dr. Tuttle was so great that I have continued with him as my regular dentist. I have been back numerous times for regular cleanings. The hygienists are super sweet and since I have sensitive gums they put that gel stuff on to numb them up before my cleanings. My only gripe is the interior decor and amenities of this place are somewhat outdated compared to other dental offices. But all in all not so important in the grand scheme of things. Oh and I must point out...This place is they are always on time. I have never waited past my appointment time.

I had a filling fall out and I was pretty uncomfortable. I was very impressed with Dr. Clegg, his office staff and the office in general. I love the option of being able to watch a movie- so I didn't have to just hear the drilling etc. I kinda forgot where I was. I also appreciate the fact that Dr. Clegg offers his cell phone in the event that there is a problem. Bottom line- I'm glad I finally decided to switch- and I'm glad I chose Dr. Clegg!
