I was asked to arrive 30 minutes early like most places back in December. I did not know that this was a requirement. I put their address in my GPS and for some reason it took me somewhere else. So I was going to be late. Had to ask for directions and make my way over to the right building. I walked in to check in and was told I was put down as a NO SHOW. My scheduled time was 3:30 and granted I was maybe 3 minutes late. I had filled out all paperwork online and did not remember at the time that back in December they told me to arrive 30 minutes early. Their reminder text I got yesterday said "see you at 3:30." Nothing about arriving 30 minutes early or they would 100% cancel my appointment and reschedule it. The office person said she would go ask if they would still see me and came back minutes later and said no. If this is how they treat their patients, I don't think I want to ever go there. Not very flexible or understanding. The office seemed nice and the people did seem nice. I just feel like better communication was needed in their text reminders for new patients. Now I will have to find another place and who knows how long their wait will be. So disappointed.

After nearly an hour and a half of being ignored, we walked out. The front desk was empty except for the receptionist, and just beyond her, we could see a group of staff laughing and socializing without a care in the world. It was deeply upsetting to witness this kind of disregard during such a serious and stressful time. For a place that claims to care about women's health, their actions showed the opposite. Absolutely disgusting. it's been almost an hour since we left and they have not even called to check on her.

So a couple weeks ago on the weekend with no working out, running around town shopping, eating out…read moreand eating poorly of course, then binge watching crap till late hours... Monday hits after a poor nights sleep. I wake up wet with sweat and freezing. Yep I'm sick, feel like I got hit by a bus. Just want to climb back in bed but know it won't do me any good without chugging chemical nightmare causing green night quill or a handful of ibuprofen. Once again doing no good just prolong my sickness and fry my kidneys. I suck it up and drink a bunch of water, get dressed and go here. Start with a hocaat secession and end with an iv. Feel slightly better as my fever broke but not 100% me yet. Kept drinking water and staying hydrated as they told me I should as I walked out the door. Right home back to bed. Next day I feel like I can run a marathon! So glad I went here over the old ritual of over the counter crap wondering if it will actually work this time or just make me worse till I need antibiotics from a trip to my usual scrip or surgery writing see me a whole 45 seconds after a 2 hour wait doctor. Yes that old method is done! This is my go to place for not only when feeling like crap, but now my preventative measure place! They even have a protocol for a pre vacation or night out of bad eating and drinking that can make life a lot more enjoyable with more energy and less payback later. Who would figure to get your immune system in top condition before an expensive cruise or just a long night out with friends!

I cannot say enough good things about the Drs, nurses, and staff at Parkhill. I found Parkhill…read morealmost 4 years ago when we moved to the area. Over the years I have seen almost all of the doctors to be treated for well woman, then IuI, ivf, pregnancy, loss, birth, and post partum care. The doctors are incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. A few things to note: Ivf is not offered in NWA. Parkhill worked very closely with Arkansas Fertility and Gynecology in Little Rock while we were going through IVF. We had labs and some exams done locally, but retrieval and transfer were done in Little Rock. The practices seem to have a great working relationship. IUI is offered directly through Parkhill. The cost is reasonable, and they are great about working with you to create the best schedule for you. When we experienced the late loss of our son, we were, of course, completely devastated. Dr. Terry's empathy and compassion during this time will stay with us forever. Months later, when we became pregnant with our miracle baby, Dr. Terry never made me feel like my anxieties were silly or over the top. He and his team felt like family as we progressed through this pregnancy. I felt like I could raise any concern and be treated with dignity and respect, and that he and his team have the knowledge base to accurately address my concerns. We had a scheduled c-section date, but she decided to come a little early so we got to know Dr. Gorman. Dr. Gorman was wonderful during delivery and post partum. He helped me through a difficult delivery, and has been a blessing in post partum recovery. I needed a follow up procedure and his expertise helped get me home to my little one same day. He partnered with the anesthesiologist to make sure I knew what I needed to know for pumping and breastfeeding. At each follow up visit, he has ensured my questions were answered and my healing was continuing. I am so grateful for his helping my daughter join the world and helping my healing so that I can be at my best for her. While I've worked with Dr. Terry and Dr. Gorman the most and love them both, I think Parkhill has cultivated a team that I trust across the board. I will continue to recommend them to anyone and everyone I can.

Dr. Hinton and her staff up-coded me to make more money! I will be finding a different…read moredoctor/clinic. I WAS a patient for 4 years through pregnancy and postpartum. I was never super thrilled with my whole pregnancy/delivery experience. And I've not cared for my postpartum experience. I went for an annual back in July and bc I asked two questions about things not related to my annual they charged me $60 for an "additional visit"!!! It was something about my nipple (breastfeeding woes) and something about my vagina (tearing/stitching woes), the two places she was already looking at! It did not extend my visit by more than 5 min IF that. I refuse to be nickel and dimed when I am trying to advocate for my own health and wellness. Dr. Hinton had the CHOICE to code that and she chose to get paid more. I'm sure there is a manager breathing down her neck to code more, but this was pathetic. You don't get to bill for a problem unless you DO something about the problem. Ultimately I've never been super loyal to them bc I've not been thrilled with my care. These two "concerns" were not diagnoses, were not provided treatments (other than a sample cream...psh), were areas already being looked at by the doctor, and did not extend my visit by more than 5 min IF ANY TIME AT ALL. What encourages a patient to bring up concerns with their doctor in their ONCE A YEAR check-up, if mentioning these "problems" gets an extra charge slapped on them? I'm still in my child-bearing years and plan to have another kid or two, so I will be paying some other clinic/doctor my thousands of dollars, thank you very much.
