I am not a weekly customer, but I called them for a one time bulk pick up. I called at 2 p.m. on a Monday and the call went to a voicemail. I left a message. They returned my call the next day around 2:30 pm and said someone could come out to give me a free estimate then proceeded to ask me what I needed to be picked up. If they come out to see and give an estimate, then why did they want me to tell every item over the phone? Anyway, I was told someone would call me back to schedule the free estimate. Tomorrow will be 1 week since my original call and nobody has called to follow up on this service. I will not recommend this company nor use this company for any future services. read more

Have had Young's for three months now. I was skeptical due to the bad reviews but those reviews were a few years old so I thought maybe they changed. Plus, and the big plus is for a small additional fee they will come up on the porch and get the trash. I am disabled so this a big plus !!! No problems. They are here every week. It appears integrity and customer service do not go hand in hand with these guys. Missed pick ups, billing issues and a lack of integrity spells disaster in a service related business. This so called business wins first place in all three categories. I have no idea how they were awarded the contract with the county. It really makes me wonder. Save yourself the aggravation. Read the bad reports, I wish I had done so, before I used them. Another friend has the same issues with them and we are both canceling. I have never had a problem with this company! Sometimes they come early and sometimes they've been late but they always come that day( unless its a holiday). I am very happy with the service AND the price. These guys are affordable for anyone and they have taken anything I have put out, even the stuff I thought for sure they couldn't take. Very poor service. We were told to put the garbage out the night before the Tuesday collection, and many times they would either pick it up on Wednesday or not even pick it up. When we called about it not being picked up, either no one answers the phone during working hours, or they lie by saying that the collector came and there wasn't any garbage to be picked up. They promised that we would be credited for the times that the garbage wasn't picked up, and when we received the bill, that didn't happen. Don't waste your money; you have to pay 3 months in advance and now I see why. It's just awful service. read more

The trash doesn't get picked up, you call to see when it will get picked up and you are lied to when you can actually get hold of someone to speak to, they do not notify you of pickup changes. The "family owned" and cheap price are buyer beware. Don't even bother. I've put up with the crappy, spotty service for almost 2 years. Three misses this summer alone. You can't contact them by phone and they don't return messages. Don't bother emailing because they don't respond to them either. When I tried to get info on my account because I thought they may have an out of date credit card the owner (?) sent me a nasty email indicating I hadn't paid since last year and if I wanted to make a payment they'd restart my service which they abruptly shut off with no explanation. for the most part, they pick up consistently each week. but its either super late at night a day earlier than scheduled or late afternoon the day of scheduled pick up. so plan to have your trash two days early or you may be stuck.my gripe is they ask you to pay 3 months in advance and charge you a late fee if you dont pay upfront 3 months, when technically you have a good 3 weeks to a month left so really you are not late. the calls i have had for being "late" seem kinda gestapo rude if you ask me. still its affordable and not really been that much of a problem. have to say though i didnt care for one of their common rude calls a day before thanksgiving, when again technically i still had 3 weeks of paid service left. read more

I wish there was a no star rating. They go weeks without picking up my garbage. They don't call me back. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They say they have been servicing Ocala for 30 years. Well service requires action which they don't provide. I am not one to complain but when my trash doesn't get picked up for weeks it is very frustrating. read more

i've had there service for a few years now and have had great service , in fact there was one morning i forgot to put my trash out and the driver was nice enough to walk up and get my cans for me. i've had no problems with this company and there rates are way cheaper then other companies that i called. read more

They were nice enough to give me the seniors discount at 1st because i am disabled , $5 is $5 when you're on social security, i was late on my july payment which was due on the 2nd, i called them on the 6th when i got out of the hospital several times, i left 3 messages telling them i paid my $21 and gave them my confirmation number, 5 days later i get a bill saying my bill is 30 bucks and they assessed a $5 dollar late fee and tha i owe them $14.They never answered the phone but in this case a woman called back the next day, july 7th and i told her why i was late and she said everything was ok and not to worry about it, But like the other reviews say, they do have a tendency about not picking up on days they tell you they pick up, read more

For about a month now they have not arrived when there supposed to and haven't showed up in almost 2 weeks!!!!! Every time I call no one answers the phone and there is a bogas message with excuses. I called them the beginning of April 2018 to inquire about service. I gave them my address to confirm they pick-up there and she said yes. I asked how many days notice do you need, She said just a few. I called April 10, 2018 and set up service and paid for 3 months. Once again I gave my address. On April 12, 2018 I called at 11:59 am to see if they missed my house because we thought we had heard a garbage truck earlier in the morning. The man said after I gave him my address that they pick up there between 1 and 2 pm. I called back at 4:30 and she told me they were gone for the day and had came by and did I have my garbage out the night before. I said yes and I called about 4 hours ago and talked to a man. Oh that's the manager. Puts me on hold, comes back and tells me they do not service my address. I said oh took 4 phone calls to you and paying you for you to realize you do not pick-up here. That's real nice since I cancelled service with another company and I have garbage sitting out front. Puts me on hold, comes back and tells me I will have to ask the owner if we can do a courtesy pick-up. I said that would be nice. Please refund my $36 on my credit card. Oh we can't do that, we have to mail you a check! I said thanks for nothing, welcome to Ocala! WTF! Is this company a big scam?? I give them negative stars because they are incompetent and suck!
