The initial consultation was thorough, and the quote was based on that, but they also gave me tips on how to reduce my bill by proactively disassembling, packing and staging what I could. The team that arrived was outstanding - polite, positive, funny, and worked with precision, care and diligence. They got me moved under budget, under the allotted time, hooked up the fridge waterline, hooked up the washer and dryer, took doors off to get furniture in and out that was almost too big. There was a thoughtfulness and sense of care that I was surprised by, from how things were packed and handled, to how things were placed and staged, to how things were moved and secured. We hired Young's Moving Service to move our belongings into a storage facility while we await the completion of our new home. The moving team was lead by Harold Campbell and did a stellar job dismantling, wrapping to protect our furniture and moving. They were on time with notice of arrival. Everyone was polite, very conscientious and had a can-do attitude throughout the entire move. They protected our home and belongings and there was literally no damage to home or goods throughout the move. With storage costs at a premium they made efficient use of available space to the point it was amazing to see how well everything was placed securely within each unit. I will be using Young's Moving Service for the final move once our home is completed and would highly recommend Youngs to anyone looking for a reputable, conscientious, trustworthy mover with employee's who worked hard; efficiently and exemplify the level of care required to handle your valued belongings. I had a very tight timeline for moving my grandparents from AR to IA. Young's Moving made everything so smooth. They communicated each step along the way, the contract was clear, they answered all my questions (and I had a LOT!). the packers did a great job and the movers- can't say enough good things. they worked extremely hard. my grandparents had so much stuff and most of it was antique. they took great care with everything and when the unloading of the truck went long because there was only 1 elevator, they were so patient and kind. I know it was a very long 2 days for them but they never complained. This move could have been so difficult but Young's did absolutely everything to make it easy. The first crew they sent out only worked for an hour and a half and then when asked to help with packing told me they did not feel like it. I called the owner and she said that if she was not in town they would often only do what was written on the sheet, and since she only told them to load the things we had packed at the house and nothing about our storage units, that is all they did. The owner sent them back out and they became incredibly passive aggressive, packing leaves, garbage, empty boxes, bubble wrap, and, in one box, cat crap. There were a few items they actually packed, 1 in a box. What should have been a 2 day move took 3 because they were shorthanded the second day (though both gentleman were very nice, if destructive), showed up late, and then disappeared for long periods of time between locations. We were over 2 hours late on our closing and you blamed us for not finishing packing...but you do not cover items that you do not pack, which means all of our dishes and glassware that you broke you do not cover. your movers tore our mattress cover, a large hole, as well as one of the straps torn off. Now she has blocked me from their facebook page, LIED about our agreement (thank goodness for screengrabs and messenger), and is blaming me for not packing. They even keep bringing up that my boxes had cat dander on them. yes, I have cats. I did not pack a pile of catshit though, that was all on your passive agressive heads. read more

Short response for people we know debating hiring movers in the NWA region: I do not recommend this moving company. Late on load and unload, load not a bad experience, unload a terrible one. The month following somehow worse. Ended up spending an additional 1k paying others to fix mistakes made by movers, boxes not moved to correct places, bed frames falling apart. The verbal lashing that I expect from the business owner to this review will likely be enough of an indicator of how you will be treated. Small move, standard value items, weather agreeable? Probably fine. Moving whole homes is hard, with kids you want to make it easy. During move my son overheard one of the movers making comments that scared him, another kept asking me if vomiting blood was bad. These guys were exhausted, had 3 moves the prior day and were trying to cut out 2 hours into unload. Post move, my son slept on the couch for two days due to his bed falling apart with him in it. We ended up just agreeing to let them keep the money owed for damages to our house if they would simply give us a copy of our move receipt 30 days after the move and be done with it. For very little more we could have gone with a professional moving service, and I regret in this one instance supporting local. set up appointment with the company through Moving Help, She said she will not be able to move us and offer to move us another day. The appointment was done a month ago our lease is up!! their is no other day. Than She said since its a third party site its not their problem, It was heartbreaking news, we had to call several moving nummbers looking for a mover in the last minute, stress to already a stressfull situation. We dont ask much just honor your appointment if not take it down from the Moving Help website ughhhhh. read more
