This is a Fayetteville to Bentonville move to put belongings in storage while we go to Massachusetts for a few months until we get our house. Co. deserves 0 stars...1 star is given for effort on the two of the movers and real credit to this co. is due only to the pre-move packer, Caleb. (He deserves 5 stars). Aspiring chef who packs part-time. Only about 19 y/o very polite and only person in the whole crowd who knows how to pack or who listens to direction. And I have to shady I was lazy didn't know how to pack or didn't want to. The next day the movers came two guys were too small to pick up most anything did not know how to pack right one of them really tried harder didn't really want to listen to direction the third guy was shady and lazy. They decided at one point they didn't want to put anything else in the truck said they couldn't do it even though they had packed the truck wrong and had plenty of room to put the rest of the stuff in anyway. I had to call the manager to come down he acted like he could not care less told him to pack it up and he left. Some kind of scam to get more money which they eventually did charge us twice as much after packing a small house that they packed the truck wrong and packed the storage place 30 miles away in Bentonville Arkansas wrong!. Just having to get an extra storage space that was not necessary if it had been packed right plus they left food garbage bag in the storage. Not only did we have to pay more for an extra storage space but for more than one reason because of them we also had to move everything into a new storage space somewhere. To the guys really tried to do the best I think they could but they were not trained in moving or packing at least not properly one guy that came that was lazy said he'd never moved anything before didn't act like he really wanted to be there but was hoping just to get some money at the end of the day. I took 11 and a half hours for small house and a 30 minute drive to unpack it somewhere and got charged twice as what our initial estimate was.

This company is currently ruining my life. I took a loan out on my real estate and vehicle to pay the bill in full before I left Las Vegas not expecting them to charge me another dime. I was so broke by the time I arrived at the destination in Kansas that I did not have money to eat nor to fix the furnace at the destination. For the past month I have lived horribly because U-pack denies me the property I entrusted them and paid them to move for me. I have no transportation, I don't know a soul here and am losing my remaining property back in Las Vegas due to U-pack delaying my return with their relentless efforts to squeeze me for more money I don't have. I should never been asked to pay anything else as I paid the bill in full from the loans I had to take out. The management has no compassion for what I have been through nor do they seem to care my position is dire and I'm going to end up killing myself if they continue to torture me and deny my property and continue to cause me to lose everything I left behind in Las Vegas as I expected to have returned there by now. This company is greedy and has a double standard when it comes to use of their trailers. So yes U-pack is definitely ruining my life right now keeping me stuck and refusing the property I desperately need as foundation for successful business operation at my new location. U-pack would rather try to take my assets rather than build a good customer relationship with someone that came to them for help and not to be destroyed. What they are doing to me is an outrage and immoral.

I used U-Pack for our recent move to Utah from Arkansas…read more They were very responsive and were able to get us two containers on one day's notice after the full-service movers we had hired (Colonial Van Lines) failed to show up for four days. The shipping of the containers to Utah took seven days, which included a weekend. All communications and scheduling with the shipper (ABF) went smoothly. However, the containers are not weather proof and we had water intrusion at the bulkheads of both containers. Our movers had created a "wall" of cardboard boxes at the bulkhead on both containers and the bottom layer of boxes got wet. This caused water damage to the contents, but also caused the "wall" to collapse. It would have been helpful in U-Pack had informed us that we needed to use a plastic liner to keep water away from our boxes.
