Were scheduled for Wednesday, September 21, 2022 and were quotes an hourly rate for 4 hour + a 26' truck with 3 movers. The movers were scheduled to be onsite at hour home between 9AM and 10AM. They did not arrive until 11AM and with a 20' truck and only two movers - one of them a skinny girl. My wife called Eva to discuss. She said she would send 2 more guys and a bigger truck, but that it was my wife's fault for not providing better information so they could send the right size truck and number of movers for the job. After spending another hour arguing about what it would take to get the move done - they finally got started loading the boxes onto the truck. 30 minutes later, my wife calls to tell me they movers said they couldn't do the job. It was just too big for them. They unloaded our boxes and left. Now we have no movers, we close on our home tomorrow, and the new buyer is supposed to move in the next day. I have a back injury so I am not able to just go rebt a moving truck and move myself - that's what I thought we were paying the 'professionals' for. But they left us high and dry. If I could sue them for breach of contract I would. Please save yourself the trouble and headache of dealing with these amateurs that do not want to work and use a more reputable company.

After the…read moremove, they discovered the foot pieces to our bed were missing, my husband had to go buy replacements so we could sleep on our bed. My underwear drawer had been gone through, numerous personal belongings were left behind, and the paint in our home had been scratched and chipped during the move in by Isaac and the other mover. Our bedroom closet still contained personal belongings, kitchen cabinets and drawers were still full of items. No one ever went back to finish packing or retrieve the belongings that were left behind. What was even more frustrating was being told that the situation was our responsibility, despite the fact that we hired Winter Moving to handle the move and trusted them to properly pack, transport, and deliver our belongings. We followed their process and completed the required paperwork, but when items were left behind, we felt like the responsibility was placed back on us instead of the company taking accountability for what happened.To make matters worse, the company had us spend time filling out paperwork documenting everything that was missing and left behind and estimating the value of the belongings. After all of that, they credited only $150, which didn't come close to covering the losses or the damage. It felt like a complete waste of time. Speaking with management did very little and even escalating our concerns to higher-level staff and still nothing meaningful was done. Instead of taking accountability and working toward a fair resolution, they defended Isaac rather than addressing the problems we experienced. We expected professionalism, care, and accountability, but instead were left with unresolved concerns. These concerns remain unresolved and continue to affect us today because some of our belongings are still missing, and we have had to deal with the inconvenience and stress of replacing items that should have never been lost or left behind. One of the most upsetting parts of this experience was discovering that my underwear drawer had been gone through. That is an incredibly personal space, and it left me feeling violated and gross. We trusted this company and its employees in our home, and finding my personal belongings disturbed made me extremely uncomfortable and caused me a great deal of emotional stress. To make matters even worse, I am pregnant, and the added stress of dealing with missing belongings, damage to our home, and feeling like our concerns were dismissed are overwhelming. Instead of being able to focus on settling into our new home and my pregnancy, we were left spending time documenting losses, making phone calls, and trying to get the company to take responsibility. No customer should have to go through an experience like this or left feeling this way. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Winter Moving. And if you do decide to, WATCH THEM! Triple check their work, and do not trust them. The experience with this company was completely unacceptable.

We were fortunate to have the same driver for our pick up as well as delivery. My only concern was the cleanliness of the truck and packing blankets. Additionally would have liked for them to be prepared to cover our flooring on both ends. To the drivers defense, he did tell us it was not his usual truck.
