I took my mother there and saw Dr Dan Ricchiuti and she was tested for bladder cancer and after 3 weeks she never heard back so I had to call the office. After numerous calls and messages, someone finally answered the phone. I was told my mother's tests were negative and she was fine. Why did nobody call to let her know? She spent 3 weeks wondering if she had cancer or not. I asked to speak to management and spoke to Amelia and she was very rude and talked down to me like I was stupid. The office has new employees every time I take my mom for an appointment , and none of them look or act professional. Just a very unorginized practice with many rude workers and managers. My mother will be switching to Southwoods from now on!

Don't disagree with the doctor. I'm constantly debating with the doctors that they don't understand…read moremy case. I was paralyzed 3&1/2 years ago BUUUUUT I'm learning to walk again and no one has experience treating a case like mine. I've been on every mental health drug there is and I'm suffering from horrible pain. I've had 30 screws put into my back, I'm missing 4 vertebrae but got a 5" titanium block where the vertebrae USED TO BE oh and the twpo 20" rods, two mounts and 8 more screws don't qualify me for pain management. I was hassled every time I requested a referral for pain management. last time I was asked "what about all the other referrals?" they didn't take my insurance is the answer but I'm the jerk for getting frustrated with all the BS. I disagreed that I needed mental health support because this all started in 2017 and EVERY DOCTOR HAS NO EXPERIENCE WITH A CASE LIKE MINE BUT KNEW MORE THAN ME ABOUT WHAT I WAS FEELING WEATHER THIS PRACTICE OR PAIN MANAGEMENT. Anytime my sons are sick, they always squeeze us in the same day-- which is great because nothing is worse than a sick baby! My sons are at ease with both doctors and the staff. Dr. Ortiz is very bubbly and expressive and Dr. Macabobby is so sweet and has a calming nature. Both doctors are extremely caring and respectful of a parent's wishes. I never feel rushed through a visit and they always address any concerns I may have.

Life-Changing Experience with Dr. Drevna…read more Bladder incontinence is extremely embarrassing and stressful to deal with on a daily basis. Going to see Dr. Drevna and having the bladder sling surgery truly changed my life. At first, I could barely bring myself to walk through the door -- I almost drove away. I had to remind myself that these doctors deal with this every day and that I didn't need to feel ashamed. When the (very good-looking!) doctor walked in, I actually got even more nervous -- but once he started talking to me, I instantly felt more comfortable. His bedside manner is both funny and calming, which helped me relax right away. Dr. Drevna first suggested I try pelvic floor physical therapy before surgery. Walking into that appointment was hard too, but I'm so glad I did it. Physical therapy turned out to be incredibly educational. Honestly, every woman over 40 should go -- you learn exercises and habits that can make a real difference. Unfortunately, my busy schedule made it hard to keep up with regular sessions, so therapy alone didn't work for me. When I returned to Dr. Drevna to discuss surgery, I had to go through some tests to qualify -- including one involving a catheter. I was very nervous, but every nurse I encountered was kind, patient, and reassuring. They made the process so much easier and helped calm my fears. By the time my sling surgery day arrived, I wasn't nervous anymore. I felt ready and confident. Dr. Drevna even made me laugh that morning! I noticed he wore crosses around his neck, which gave me an extra sense of comfort and peace. The surgery went smoothly. My pain afterward was minimal -- maybe a 3 out of 10 from the small incisions. Now, I feel like I have the bladder of a 20-year-old! I highly recommend Dr. Drevna and his team. They were compassionate, understanding, and truly changed my quality of life. If you're struggling with bladder incontinence, don't be afraid to take that first step -- it's worth it.
