I am appalled that after managing my property for 5 years, they let the tenants smoke (heavily)…read morethrough the whole house, build unauthorised decking (killed the grass), plant tress with water seeking roots, let the garden be overgrown, not cleanout gutters (yep picture hanging garden of babylon, replace screen on screen door with heavy plastic, leave their rubbish and furniture in the yard, never gave the tenants the laundry window keys = 5 years of filth buildup + remove and disable the smoke detectors... and didn't think these were important enough to rectify on final inspection!! as well as the fence had fallen apart but they didn't think this was important to note either.... On top of that they hand over - for the new agent - the 1st 2 leases (there should be 5), bond paperwork, the agreement, a photocopy of a bundle of keys (nothing being identified) - THAT IS ALL!! Stay away they are very negligent and unprofessional.

Loved the stay! Will be coming back next Winter…read more I enjoy staying in Oz over the Winter because it's nice and warm and Summer Christmas just feels right to me. But I usually end up spending a lot on hotels, which don't give you a lot of freedom and then I spent money on restaurants and laundry services. So last years' holiday I decided to try renting a flat, as a friend suggested. Well this place was lovely. Fully furnished, a pool and a gym and a short walk from the market and the sea. We actually saved money compared to the year before and we were eating great food and having a good time. Definitely worth a try if you have extended Oz holidays!

We found…read morethem while searching for a monthly rental in Sydney's Castle Hill area to be close to our daughter who is doing a 3-year course. We got in touch with Furnished Properties and they offered us several properties in the area which suited us perfectly as our daughter was staying with us as was our 2 sons. We wanted a house and garden and not an apartment and we all wanted bedrooms of our own. We got this delightful 4 bedroom / 3 bathroom property which came with car rental included (nice touch) saved us a few $100 in rental costs at least. The Property was nice, the wife loved it. Had all we needed and more, nice large TV with Foxtel, BBQ and decking out back, nice large welcome pack, DVD player, and lots more Furniture was clean and modern as were the linen and towels We had no problems during our stay so not really any need to contact Furnished Properties but during the booking process they were really nice I would rent from them again on our next trip for NewYear

My advice is to never lease a property from this company. I leased from them for many years and…read morethey did nothing but interfere with the running of my business. Goodman rent is high but every year without fail they charge over and above on their already ridiculously high outgoings! I always question the expenses and they even went so far as to have false job sheets and invoices created to charge my small family run business excessive outgoings and this was EVERY year! During Covid they went over the budget on outgoings, when half the estate was closed or working from home? If you asked too many question they use bullying techniques and threats so you will pay up. During Covid they refused to give any rent relief to my business, even though the government had asked landlords to work with their clients. My business was closed for months and heavily impacted by group gatherings; they did not care at all and refused to assist. They waited until the government was not protecting business anymore and locked me out of my property without any warning or legal processes being followed at all! They have a law unto themselves. (NOTE: all my rent was paid and up to date only the rent during my closure was due and I was trying to negotiate as per government regulations) They refused us to even be able to remove any of our personal property as well as the half a million dollars worth of equipment that they locked inside! Which I was later informed is actually theft, as a company listed on the stock exchange with stakeholders, I wish I were able to inform investors exactly what kind of behaviour actually goes on if you're a leasee of one of their properties. They forced the closure and liquidation of my perfectly viable business and ruined my reputation. These "Badman" ruined our lives and our livelihoods, and left so many staff unemployed in such hard times. They should be ashamed. They lie, steal and rip off small business without a care in the world and get away with it due to the amount of money they turn over every year and fact they have deep pockets and there own legal teams. As I said DO NOT LEASE from Goodman. You will regret it.
