It also is the "closet" for several dozen Pittsburgh-area agencies that help women in need such as women leaving domestic violence. Since its founding in 2001, it has donated millions of dollars of clothing to tens of thousands of women. I recently shopped at Treasure House Fashions. When I entered the store, a friendly volunteer greeted me, explained how the store was organized, and offered assistance. The racks and shelves were fully stocked--in fact, so stocked that the store was no longer accepting donations. The clothes were very well organized by size and type (e.g., pants, shirts, and dresses), and some were from well-known brands. I did not, however, see price tags on most clothes, so I would like to set more of those. Most styles were not my preferred style, but I did find a couple of clothes that I liked.

There isn't a huge selection but the brand that Terry Jolo advertises perfectly pairs with the designs and offerings. Outside of her wedding dress and men's suit designs, she offers unique and funky vintage clothing to modern and beautiful jewelry/shoes/handbags...this store is a hidden gem! My sister and I both found a pair of new work shoes and with the BOGO deal, it was a no-brainer. We left very happy with our purchase & we are excited to stop back in the future!

They are a body positive size, inclusive boutique in Oakmont that I stumbled upon on a random weekend I was browsing,and one of the employees made a suggestion that I try on this dress. I didn't even realize they were size in inclusive at first. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but after I tried on the suggested dress I was not leaving without it. The owner even popped in to make sure I was wearing it correctly. I happened to be there during a summer solstice party so they were giving out free ice cream and had a few vendors on site. The place isn't super big but they have a good amount of options for any style. I'd say the prices are fair for the quality. I even went back to get matching earrings a few weeks later. Definitely a new favorite spot to visit, I will say their hours are limited so check before you go.

This may be a hot take but these are two very different concepts. The mannequin in the entry way had lots of messages of positivity written on her but was also just a straight sized, curvy modeled figure - giving very mixed signals. I'm also not sure I would consider $70 jeans to be "affordable" but most pieces in the shop were under $100. If you are mid sized or smaller and into an upbeat, anthropology vibe check this place out!
