Great company. They did an amazing job installing my windows. I would highly recommend.

2 years ago I signed contract for replacement of 8 windows. 23k dollars. At the time I was told the company had trained installers and a top notch warranty on the windows along with being energy star triple pain windows. Company called January said the windows were In and are scheduled to be put in 19th. Really the winter I asked if it could be a spring install I was told no. So install in January... Guy showed up said he was a sub contractor from Minneapolis he brought 2 helpers. I watched the first window get removed they were not careful damage to my trim from hammer, prying and a saw. I called the company but never got a call back. The install was horrible they didn't use a level, they didn't use a water barrier the windows you could see they tipped inward and they did not have window stops. Two months later window cracks...and the battle begins for the company to stand behind the warranty. Spring came windows would not open the windows did not seal properly. The big window in the living room pops all day long. Called company again they requested pictures of all the issues. Company wanted to see the issues set appointment they no showed and didn't call ...twice. recall on the cranks drought out a crew where I showed them the issues with the window they made some adjustments but didn't help much sprayed a lubricant on the windows that wouldn't open. To me that's not a fix. Company came out again to investigate the install...4 months later said windows are being re ordered because they were not installed properly. I got notifications the windows are in and would be installed in the spring....here we are in June no appointment scheduled and the company does not return phone calls. I just get the answer there isn't anyone in your area to install the windows. REALLY! That should have been discussed being an issue when I purchased the windows. I read reviews and seen the negative reviews and talked to the sails person about them and got this as an answer. "Deborah you have my word you will be taken care of if you have issues with the windows. The warranty is there for your piece of mind. " 2 years and windows that still don't operate properly when it's the companies hired installers that didn't do it correctly in the first place. 23k out the window... 3 of the windows have damage between the glass.. Buyers do your homework listen to others experiences company will tell you the reviews are not true or don't pertain to your area. YES the reviews are correct. They aren't even in my area. Why would you keep notifying me even on Sundays? They're in another state. And they said that they don't subcontract out their work. So then are you going to travel that far to work on my little cottage? Yeah right? read more

Had windows installed on porch. Every windows is crooked, the insulation is gapped and uneven, brand new windows already showing moisture between panes, sloppy caulking, not weatherproof. Flashing is bent, uneven damaged by the installation. Company will not answer or return calls to correct the situation. read more

Zero stars is most appropriate for this company. We contacted Home Depot for an appointment for Cabinet fronts or replacement. We did not realized that they sub this out to Your Home Improvement Company. The rep showed up at our house and spent all of 8 minutes. He did not take pictures or measurements. He did not present any options. He stated that "he had it all in his head". That was more than 3 weeks ago and we've had no contact from this company or rep let alone received an estimate. In hindsight, we should have reads the comments online before booking the estimate appointment. Also note: the guy that showed up stated that the promotions advertised on TV are a marketing ploy. This looks horrible for Home Depot but do not use this company! read more

They remodeled my bathroom and then my pipes started freezing up. They changed the way I was getting heat into my bathroom to try to fix the problem. It didn't work and now they won't change it back. I used to get some heat into my bathroom, now I don't get any. Definitely don't recommend them. read more

It requires you to select a star to review. But this company doesn't even deserve that 1 star. I hired this company to install both Windows and Siding. After being sticker shocked and being sold on the integrity of the company and how the double lifetime warranty will give me peace of mind with their "a warranty is only as good as the company behind it" line in their sales pitch. Well, turns out, that warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on. Make sure if you decide to work with this company you have some legal council. You are going to need it to get them to honor their commitments... It's been 6 months since my siding was installed poorly. Dennis Montana (salesman grifter) came to my home on May 11, just one day after asking online about siding. Pushed me to sign a contract at a "home show discount" and even though it was pretty spendy, he assured me that the double lifetime warranty and siding quality was well worth it. Told me it would be 6-10 weeks and they would get started. I signed the contract, gave them $14k (half of the total) and the contract stated they would be finished by September 20. September 18, I called because they didn't start, and had not even had the siding manufactured yet. I was then told they would start by September 30 and they delivered the product a few days prior to that date. Then they said weather was an issue and they would start on October 7. Today, it is warm and clear and sunny and there is NOBODY at my house and it is nearly noon. They aren't coming. They are all liars and thieves. Dennis, Scott, Brian, Tammy, all of them. Liars. If you are considering siding on your home, literally call ANYONE else but this nightmare company. They will take you for everything and deliver absolutely nothing. read more

Very pushy people. They came late in the evening, staying til 10:30 at night meandering around the topic of cost/installation until we were very tired, and then tried to force us to sign a contract. When we asked if we could sleep on it, they became very rude and sarcastic, poking fun at our excuses and trying to strong arm us into signing. Oh, and when they got on our roof to "inspect" it, they had trouble setting up the ladder. Didn't seem like a big deal at the time, but I would like someone who seems familiar with getting on a roof to be the one who builds mine. They also left some garbage of their's because they left in such a huff after being told no. I'm even more disheartened to see that, currently, they only have one other review, and it seems it was done by ine of the employees who came to our house, Kyle. All in all, it seemed like we were visited by a couple of door to door salesmen trying to con us into something we really didn't need, and probably can't afford at the moment. From looking at reviews of their Saint Cloud home office, it has become immediately apparent that they are a complete scam that hires outside contractors and refuse to back up their warranties after problems arise from their shoddy work. We ended up using Your Home Improvemet Company! Biggest Mistake Ever! We had siding, sauffet and facia done. Looks great at a distance! There was areas of the siding that wasn't even nailed down. Some of the trim around our windows was crooked, they put back our electric meter and that was crooked and still is. 2 of my garage windows he said was un level. I was questioning the trim around the windows. He said that it's my windows. I put a level on the window sills and it's their shoddy workmanship! One of the workers parked in my driveway and left oil stains everywhere. I mentioned to them about it and they used something that is supposed to work on oil stains. Well now my driveway looks like a twister game in black. Every time I talk to one of big shots who over sees the finished job keeps making excuses for the shoddy workmanship. He didn't see what I seen. Around my garage door was 2 different colors of trim. The one color wasn't even a part of the job. But they placed it anyway. They started the job on July 5th and they still haven't got the job done right. My next step is to contact Better Business Bureau, and Attorney General. We are now in the middle of August and we aren't 100% satisfied. Not even close. I did a review on their website but my review was never put on there. They only put on the 5 star reviews! Every review should be on there so people like me don't get screwed over. They contract out the guys who do the work. Every person who has been to my house has been Mongolian. They are all very polite and all but they don't know what they are doing. I'm just trying to save you from the mistake we made by hiring this company to do the work! read more
