I've been to them for 3 repairs now and have been thrilled with the results each time The first was for a shattered iPhone screen that exposed the innards. I didn't think they could fix it, but they did and made it look as good as new. It took about an hour. A few months later, I busted it again (yeah, I know, I am a cellphone abuser) and again they fixed it perfectly. For an iPhone 5, I think they charged about $100 for the new screen, a lot better than paying $500 for a new phone. The third repair was for a laptop that was typing weird things. Everyone told me it wasn't fixable and should just be junked. Rafe said it was fixable, but was either an easy repair requiring a chemical cleaning he could do for his $50 diagnostic fee or a more expensive repair that would require a new keyboard for about $180. He did a ton of diagnostic work and told me a new keyboard was required. Since the laptop was old and not worth much, I decided to buy one of his secondhand laptops instead for a GREAT price and he knocked off the $50 diagnostic I had already paid from the purchase price. Then he disposed of my busted laptop for me. I'm very happy with my new laptop -- it's about 5x as good as my last one, with a battery that lasts about 8 hours. These guys are great. They're not miracle workers, but they are trustworthy and fair and will do whatever they can for you. Highly recommended. read more

So I took my phone to Your Mobile for repair/cleaning and it was the best experience I ever had. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They repaired/cleaned it in around 45 minutes. I cracked the screen of my Nokia Lumia 800 phone approximately 3 weeks ago. I called around to a few different cell phone repair stores in Edmonton, and Your Mobile quoted me the lowest price to repair it if I were willing to wait a couple weeks for a part to come in. I agreed, and they took my information promising to call me when they got a shipment in. About two and a half weeks pass and I decide to call the store to see if they had an updated ETA on my part. This was during a Monday afternoon during the store's business hours. No one answered the phone and I was asked to leave a voicemail, which I did. Nobody got back to me. Two days later, I submitted a request for info through the company's website, thinking that I might require an "official" entry into their system. Still, no response. On Friday morning, I called Your Mobile one last time, and explained my cracked screen issue again to the gentleman that answered the phone. He let me know that they were still waiting on the part shipment to come in and that they had a handful of people waiting for the same part. I asked him if he had any better idea when the part would be in. He replied that, no, he didn't, but if I wanted to leave my phone number, he would pass it on to his boss who would know and call me back. I have yet to receive a phone call. I am not faulting Your Mobile for not having my part in stock, and I am not blaming them for their shipment taking longer than expected to get in. However, the issue I had with them was their lack of communication with their potential customers. Not having my calls returned made me feel as if the store had forgotten about me. I have since taken my phone to be repaired at another repair shop in Edmonton, who quoted me more for the repair, but managed to make me feel much more confident about their handle on their business. read more

Well I took it in yesterday to get software put in, because my boy accidentally deleted it! Well, The kind girl says - Come back in 2 hours. Where can you get service like this anymore? It was too good to be true. Well I had to take the cell phone in for unrelated service, and they guy there told me he probably could not fix it. He could have charged me the min 40 dollars and told me after but he was HONEST. I will go back again! I must tell you all that I did not buy the blackberry here and hope you never get one! I had a phone that I knew what was wrong with it and I also knew it to be an easy fix but I didn't have the equipment to do so. I emailed initially and was given a quote that was much higher than another call I made but I still wanted to give them a shot since I live right close by. I went there and they didn't know I emailed and already received a quote. They attempted to charge me $50 more for the same repair. I was not impressed. In a bind I'd recommend the place if you worked in the area but only out of convenience. Much cheaper and less arbitrarily priced work available elsewhere. read more

I went in and my phone was stuck on safe mode. I couldn't use apps or anything on my phone. When i took it in they fixed my phone out of safe mode, fixed my home button, and my volume buttons which were getting stuck which caused my phone to enter safe mode and not return to normal. They gave me an amazing deal and a new case for very cheap. Highly recommend this place. Only cost me $60 to make my phone work like new again. It didn't take even take an hour to get it fixed. I have an HTC ONE X which was working 100% perfectly, except that the screen was shattered. There was no glass missing and it still worked perfectly, it was just difficult to see. I didn't have the cracked screen replacement with Telus so they recommended this store to me. I paid nearly $200 up front for my phone to be repaired. They told me it takes a few hours. I came back the next day. I happily picked up my phone and went back to work. A few hours later I noticed the 3 LED's for the touch buttons on the bottom of the phone, were not installed correctly. The buttons did not light up at all. I took the phone back and the lady said no one was there to repair the phone so I should just come back tomorrow. She marked it down in her notes as "2 dots" on the phone (whatever that means). The next day I also noticed the left edge of the screen was sharp and catching on my thumb, and a crack of light was shining through the screen on the left side. The LCD was not seated correctly at all. Due to this and the LED issue, I chaulked it up to poor workmanship and incompetence by the employees. I took the phone in to get fixed and they gladly took it back. I was told to come by the next day to pick it up. I went to pick it up the next day and they refused to give it back, saying the manager must speak with me. I phoned the next day and spoke to the manager who passive-aggressively accused me of damaging the phone myself by prying the digitizer from the LCD. He said it was my fault because the notes of the lady at the front desk only mentioned "2 dots". The manager failed to contact me back for over a week, even though he promised to call back right away. He was working several shifts in which he could have contacted me. One week later, he finally calls (For the first time) and says they repaired my phone and re-attached the screen and it was working perfectly. He recommended a $40 case to prevent the screen from lifting again. If it was installed proper it should NEVER lift, even just by rubbing the edge of the phone with a finger (yet he accused me of prying it off). I went to pick up the phone and the agent set it down on the desk and asked for my signature as proof the phone was in good condition. I checked the phone first by picking it up and noticed the 3 LED's on the bottom were still not lined up, and the crack shining light through the screen was still there. I had the phone less than 5 seconds and showed the agent exclaiming "Are you KIDDING me?" The manager blatantly said that I damaged the phone (having it in my possession less than 5 seconds). He also said it was my fault in the first place for physically damaging the phone. I fail to see how I could possibly damage the phone unless I intentionally pried the screen out. The manager did however offer to refund me and attach the old screen back on the phone, but I had to refuse as the old screen was damaged by the employees more-so, with glass missing and "in pieces" as the manager had said. The manager's name is Darcy, and I DO NOT recommend ever going to this store for repairs. He said he could not do anything for me, especially since I tried to "pull this off" and didn't admit to breaking my phone. Darcy was also yelling at me and being passive-aggressive. When confronted with his behavior and told to "calm down", he exclaimed it was because him and his staff were upset at this situation. I fail to see how he should be more upset than me since I'm now out of a cell phone and $200. All they had to do was own up to their mistake and repair it properly, rather than drag it out and ultimately make things worse. I received the phone back with more damage than when I took it back to get fixed due to Darcy pulling the screen apart in front of me. You can take your chances with these guys but I would recommend spending the extra few dollars to get it done by professionals who care more about service and quality of work, rather than protecting themselves against sloppily done repairs. read more

Great and fast fix, fantastic customer service! My iphone 4S had a shattered screen. Brought it in, spoke to some very friendly and helpful staff, and within a couple hours the screen was replaced with a refurbished one that looked as good as new (but was $20 cheaper!) Also added a glass protector to mitigate future clumsiness. Screen was $69 and glass cover was $25, both worth it in my books. I also appreciated that they asked me questions on anything else that could be wrong with it and tested it fully before giving it back to make sure it was fully functional after the fix. Excellent customer service overall and although I hope nothing else goes wrong, if it does, I will be going back. read more

I bought a iDroid King from these people. First off the headphones jack didn't work, texts were already on the phone before I even activated it, I think they sold me the demonstration phone. Next I go online to troubleshoot my phone type and find that they overcharged me by 50 dollars. And now, just two months later the phone bricks on me. Shady place to buy a phone, make sure that its new in the box and that they aren't trying to push crappy phones onto you like they did me. I've had better experiences buying wal-mart phones. DONT EVER GO HERE. I dropped my iPhone 5, took it in, they said they could have the screen fixed in a couple hours, 125$ bucks. Sure perfect, they fix it. Looks great. Three days later the home button stops working. and then when I hit the right side of the screen, it activates part of the left side of the screen. This continues until the screen almost doesn't work at all. So I take it back. Now they say I have water damage, 70$ to fix. I don't remember getting any water on it but I take their word. They say come back tomorrow and it will be fixed. I come back next day, to which they say it will be 30 more minutes and quote my price 195$ EXCUSE ME?!?!?!? Apparently I need ANOTHER new screen. Nobody told me that. I was told 70. So they give me an ultimatum. 70$ to take the phone back with the"waterdamage" fixed, but they say the phone still won't work. Or another 125 to get my phone back. I'm frustrated, but I pay the 125$ ITS BEEN A WEEK AND MY PHONE IS STARTING NOT TO WORK AGAIN. This place is horrible! They take advantage of people who don't know much about technology, they're never open the hours they are supposed to be, and have now scammed me out of 250$ and the phone still doesn't work.
