It's a little tough to spot from the highway, being tucked in a parking lot behind a carpet store. Once you find the access to the parking lot, you can't miss the store with its colorful murals of frolicking food items. The meat and hot food counter is located in the rear corner of the store, to the left as you come through the door. The menu is in Spanish with brief English translations below. The case was full of various stewed meats and vegetables, along with a traditional posole. We ordered a variety of guisados, and although there was a bit of a language barrier (on my part - the woman at the counter was extremely helpful, and this is a business that caters to a Spanish-speaking customer base), we were able to make our selections without too much trouble. The woman motioned to the front checkout counter, and then disappeared into the kitchen. We eventually figured out that we needed to tell the checker what we had ordered, pay for it there, and then wait at one of the handful of tables for our food to come out. After ten minutes or so, the server appeared with our guisados on freshly made tortillas - fluffy and still hot. A side of house-made salsa was provided. Both the meat and vegetable dishes were excellent. On food alone, this would be a 5-star review. The order-pay-wait process was a bit muddled, so I'll go with 4, although I'd mark 4.5 starts if I could. I imagine that if I spoke passable Spanish that things might have been more clear.
