Seriously, friends, use them! Ask for Sarah! Let's back up to 2024 when my daughter became engaged. I decided to throw her an engagement party and rented a 20x30 tent and about 5 tables and chairs, as well as tablecloths. It was great being able to have them pick everything up and take the tent down. Little did I know that my daughter would, 1 year later have a wedding on the property (October 2025). GREAT! Now, we went form the little tent to a 60x tent and 100 guests! I wasn't as thrilled with the person I worked with the first time but when I spoke to Sarah, she was just amazing so for about 9 months, I worked with her. She has the patience of an angel! I ordered this, this, this, this, then that, that, that, that, and then no longer needed this or that, but wanted to add that, oh, wait, now we need this, oh, wait, now we need that! Yet, she just went right along with it. She was amazing! Basically, we ended up with the 40 x 60 tent, a dozen long tables, 100 chairs, a bar, trash cans, extension cords, and I'm sure more, but I don't recall the rest. The reason Sarah was so amazing was because even after the cut-off date, she let me add things (like the extension cords) last minute. Everything else was guaranteed, but those last minute items were only if they had them when I called last minute, whch, thankfully, they did. I will say that everything that I received from them was good quality and sturdy. I have absolutely no complaints! They brought the items early enough for us to set up and have the rehearsal and picked up it 2 days later (no one wanted to worry about it the next day). You can pay to have them set up the tables and take down the tables, but we chose to do it ourselves since we had so much help. I contacted them yesterday asking for an arch for a wedding in which I am the florist. They offered me a pillar arch which is the tall triangular arch so I went ahead and reserved it because the bride wasnt answering. Well the bride finally got back to me and didnt want the pillar one she wanted the circular arch. Well I already paid for the pillar arch. When I called this place to cancel and ask for a refund they made it so difficult. One person transferred to another then to another and everyone kept saying they didnt have the power to refund. Jim told me he couldnt refund because he already pulled the arch. The pillar is a 3 piece super light and he acted like it was so much work. I even spoke with a manager Pauline she said she doesnt have the power. I politely explained its not my fault the bride wants something else and asked as a courtesy if they could make an exception because I always rent from them. In fact i refer them to a lot of people looking for rentals. She said no they dont do refunds especially because they are about to close. What does that have to do with a refund? She told me she will take my name and number and have someone higher up call me because only she can issue refunds. At this point it was ridiculous. I didn't sign anything I was never told I couldnt cancel not was I told that refunds are not possible. Dont waste your time on them. Their service was horrible. They dont understand that in this business there can be changes made. Since they dont offer what I was looking for they shouldve at least refunded it as a courtesy. Just pathetic. They lost me and EVERYONE I referred and everyone will read my social media posts as a customer. read more

Working with Pauline and Cyndi to plan the rentals for my wedding was an absolute breeze! They have all their items (which is an extensive inventory; one-stop shop) available to view in their showroom, and will rearrange as needed to give you full visuals. Their rental policy cannot be beat, as you can change quantities up to ten days before your event. Which if you've planned a wedding, you know is KEY with people being poor at responding to RSVPs. The biggest way in which they showed their customer-centered business model is when I had to make the tough decision to postpone my wedding due to COVID. They were beyond gracious in how they handled it, and I cannot wait to rebook with them in the future. read more

Horrible customer service with bad communication. They keep telling my wife that someone will contact her for a price for rental of 3 60" wood top tables. She called two more times during the week and finally someone calls her on Friday. She agrees with the quote and makes the reservation for the following Saturday. She requested that they be delivered because I'm more than willing to pay the delivery fee for less hassle. The person said unfortunately they're booked up for deliveries on that day. Imagine that. Maybe if they would've called like they said they would we probably could've gotten them delivered. First and last time going to this place solely for their poor communication read more

Your Party and Event Center is amazing! I recommend them to everyone having a special event-big or small. They have exceptional customer service, and they righted another company's wrong. My husband and I called My Party and Event Center (Camas, WA) 2 days before our wedding reception in a panic because we had received dirty, rusted chairs from Pacific Rental (who offered us money back or to go hand pick new chairs just hours before our wedding... neither of which was the solution we needed). Your Party and Event Center responded with such care and concern. They didn't have enough chairs or delivery on such short notice (wedding season!!), but they really wanted to help us. They suggested we rent their chair covers. We went in to pick up the covers and brought in one of the other company's filthy chairs and they were appalled. We tried out the covers and they fit perfect! The owner(?) was there and felt so bad for our misfortune, and she wanted our day to be special, so she offered us chair sashes (for free) to help dress up the chairs. They were beautiful! (We even used them at the ceremony to dress up the pews). Our wedding was perfect! The only snag we ran into was the chairs, but Your Party and Event Center saved the day! My husband said, "I want to throw more parties just to give them business!" Your Party and Event Center really understands that their rentals matter and are part of people's special events, and most of all they really care about their customers. read more

I ordered two 6 feet banquet tables, I ended up with 2 fold up nasty-dirty tables that had been obviously given to this firm by another agency as the 1 table had in black sharpie "Alzheimer's Association" written on it. The tables were so nasty that I couldn't get the marks/dirt off of them. The chairs I ordered were fine. I'll look around for another rental agency next time I need to rent, which is about 3 times a year!! read more

We had a bit of a mixed experience with Your Party and Event Center. We were looking to rent a PA system for our wedding and first tried to reserve this equipment through the Hood River location. My partner called three times. The first two times he reached someone over the phone and they promised to return the call quickly with rental info., but never did. The next time he called he left a voice message but his call was again not returned. I then tried calling and the gal I spoke with was unhelpful, and didn't seem to care that our previous calls were never returned. I then contacted the Camas location where I spoke with Abbi, who was very helpful. Abbi was apologetic and did everything she could to help us get what we needed and would be best for our venue. We wish the employees at the Hood River location had the same customer service skills as Abbi. read more

You really need to work on your communication skills and get people in there that are professional and knowledgeable instead of dumb high school girls. When someone leaves a voicemail you really should return their calls and when someone emails you you really should email them back. When someone asks you specific measurements you should tell them exactly what you have not yea what we have can cover that. The poles were way too tall for what we needed and the curtains way too short for what you gave us. And when someone asks if an arch can break down into a car, your response should not be "yea it can fit into almost any car" ABBY when the arch and poles needed to be delivered in a HUGE truck!!! Not something someone wants to deal with the day before their wedding. The arch was also very wobbly and had to be zip tied to the stage to keep from falling over. Thankfully Donna was amazing at the warehouse and helped me out!! I ended up getting a full refund which was greatly appreciated. Thank you again Donna read more
