If you're not in the "in" group forget about being seen. They do push their dancers however it is to the point of injury and then allow them to continue to dance with it. Hard pass on this team. Much better and more ethical studios in the area.

This place is toxic. I realized this multiple times throughout my experience here. From being…read moreignored by the owners mother who works the front desk when I asked to speak to the owner as we were a new family - this was a big time and financial commitment for me as a parent, to being disrespected by the owners sister and yelled at by one of their ballet teachers when I volunteered my time to help with dancing with santa and the nutcracker... YIKES. Multiple times throughout the season the owner talked negatively about families that have left the studio. This is a pretty small world we live in. I know the side of the story they won't tell with some of those families. That's when it clicked that they will stop at nothing to make people who don't put up with their crap look like the crazy/unstable one. The last straw was them blaming my daughter for something someone else did... the week before nationals. It was horrible. Her trust was completely broken with one of her teammates because of it and no one cared how much they hurt her... The pictures of my daughter on stage from nationals, she looked SO SAD. It was heartbreaking. That being said, even though I detest the people that run this place. My daughter is still super kind and supportive of every single kid she danced with here, even the one who lied and got her in trouble. The problem is the people who run it and the group of moms that act like spies and gossip about children. It's weird. Do not recommend this place. There are way better options in the area.

My daughter has danced at Inspire for over 8 years and is on their Company team. She loves every minute of it! The love and devotion of each dancer, high-level training, second-to-none instructors, caliber of outside choreographers, and access to dance experiences outside the studio cannot be matched.

But with that said, Inspire is nationally known for creating world-class dancers. I have seen countless performances and videos of their work, and I am never let down by the technique, versatility, and advanced skill and artistry. I have had contacts/friends from inspire for over a decade, and I have seen so much growth from the company. They were always talented, as Anne Forrest knows how to train dancers, but they have started working with top-notch choreographers, which highlights the dancers' versatility and technique. I have never been a student at Inspire, so I can't speak on the culture or environment of the studio. But what i can say is that Anne knows what she's doing and know have to train technically-advanced and marketable dancers. Due to their reputability, they have kind of become a pre-professional company. This is a testament to the talent and training of the studio, but I also know that this is not for everyone, as some people aim to utilize dance as a hobby or outlet rather than a career path. With that said, a dancer will definitely get an advanced dance education here, and that can be hard to find nowadays. If you look into Inspire's graduates and their accomplishments, you will for sure see why they are so well-respected and nationally recognized. Another additive for some is that the studio is kind of a hidden gem... they are well-respected and very competitive, but they are not a studio that is all about social media presence and fame. this has upsides and downsides, but in the the long run, this is beneficial for your child's progression, privacy, and learning environment. All in all, Inspire is known for incredible training, and any child that is passionate about dance would benefit so much from attending.
