They were so sweet! It was our first time and we dropped by for a quick lunch since hearing great things from friends. We had no idea what the concept was even after looking at the menu online. LOL. The employees were super patient with us and we could see their smiles even under their masks. When ordering we realized it was like a subway but for pizza. It was awesome! Your Pie is definitely NOT my pie! I was very disappointed for a couple of reasons. One, I couldn't believe how careful the employees were to seemingly count every single piece of topping. Extra onions equated to tearing the pieces smaller to spread them out more - as if that fools the customer. Second, this is the absolute greasiest pizza I've had since my childhood when my mother got Chef Boy-Ardee boxes to make your own pizza right at home! Admittedly, I had pepperoni on my pizza - but I'd be surprised if there were nine pieces. Though I got some off of the pizza with paper towels, the grease was so pervasive that is soaked all the way through to the underneath of the crust. I enjoy this brand and haven't had in in quite some time. I was excited to see one in the location that I was working in so I stopped by for lunch. The staff was friendly but the cashier did not greet us when we approached the register. She just started repeating our order before stating the total. The food came out promptly but we were missing the two salads that we ordered. We made the expeditor aware and asked that he make sure that they be bagged separately per our request when we ordered. They did not place all of our salad dressings in the bag so we had to request more. The temperature of the pizza could have been hotter. It was lukewarm. The Caesar side salad was decent but had several brown pieces of lettuce in it. Regarding the COVID-19 safety guidelines, it was good to see most team members wearing their face masks properly. I observed a Caucasian male team member with brown hair wearing his face mask below is nose with his mouth exposed. I ordered the truffle Alfredo pasta. It looked so good and had all my favs. Unfortunately they were out of one of main attraction (for me) to this dish - portobello mushrooms! I couldn't believe my ears. So I asked they double up on the plain mushrooms and add some broccoli too. Well. There was absolutely no broccoli added to my Order but there was a lot of mushrooms which I appreciated. The dish was baked but dry and not very creamy at all. Your Pie is unique and in my opinion the claims of the worlds originator is a far far stretch. The initial impression is closer to a that of a Subway but with a less choices, less ingredients and a bigger over. First time experience for this chain. Not sure if we will come back but it's not offensive. So.. the pasta noodles and pizza crusts and salads are all pre-made and awaiting the "taste" to be added. The taste can be pre-cooked chicken, pre-cooked sliced meatballs or cheese or whatever.... All portions are standardized and awaiting your choice. You place your order and the high school students working behind the short wall adds the simple ingredients to the precooked penne pasta or pizza bread, gives it a stir, adds the cheese and pops in the oven for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese and serves to you in a foil container or paper. It's like a microwave meal with an extra step added at about 4X the cost of a microwave meal. The taste is better and the presentation is better but lots of other Italian much better for the same cost. The pizzas are tiny. But if this is your thing then good for you. Might be a better business idea than an eating experience. In my opinion the sliced meatballs are bland and the precooked chicken is too dry and the eating experience is rushed. read more
