Yes, a lot of you may say you can get this done at the doctors office, but will it come with the truth, knowledge of eating healthier, and your able to purchase what's really needed on the spot?! Today I visited the cafe for the first time. The young man at the register was so patoent and kind. He walked from behind the counter so he could look at the menu with me and help me decide. His customer service was amazing! The food was pretty good. I had a small cup of the lamb soup. It was filling and very seasoned. I also had the Neo Soul Rolls. They were fresh, favorable and cooked to perfection! These were my favorite. I was a little disappointed to learn that the herb store located about 15 minutes from the restaurant closed early that day. I was hoping to leave the restaurant location and go to the herb store to pick up a detox they sell. The owner actually came in the restaurant while I was eating. She offered to go to the herb store and get it for me. I told her I would just return another day, If you are ever in the area, check out this place. 10/10 EXPERIENCE AT THE VITAMIN LADY ATLANTA! I finally went to The Vitamin Lady and I honestly had an AMAZING experience! I arrived around 11:30 AM, put my name on the list, and was told to come back around 12:30 PM. So yes, I waited about an hour, but everyone in the shop was SO nice and welcoming! I was the first one called for the blood test, which was $25. She takes your blood, tells you your blood type, and gives you a sheet explaining foods they recommend eating and avoiding based on their program. After that, there was about a 20-minute class where she explained their approach to blood types, personality, nutrition, and different foods. They also have alkaline mineral water ($25) and SO many different juices for things like digestion, inflammation, skin, heart, liver support & more! (6 for $25) Overall: 10/10 I had such a great experience and would definitely recommend checking them out to my friends and family! I came here on Saturday morning. Small parking lot in front. There is a list that you have to sign up for different time slots if you want a blood test. Wish this information was communicated on their site before. I had to wait about 1.5hrs to get the test done. Once we were able to enter, you are given a blood kit. The vitamin lady completes the test and advises you of your blood type. You are given paperwork on the food that are good for you ajd the foods you should avoid. The vitamin lady then provides information on each blood type and also how your blood type plays apart of your personality. ATTENTION Ponzi scheme alert, they do not sell any waters that hydrate you. They have a water machine there that they make alkaline water with and say that they put minerals in the water for each blood type, they use the same machine to make the water for they're supposed detox, which is $30, I found out about hydrogen water and how it penetrate your blood stream to hydrate you and to help you internally heal, I bought three detoxes three or four bottles of alkaline water, I had a extreme emergency and I knew that I was gonna end up going out of town and I could not take the detox right away. They will not replace the detox for me upon my return or they will not refund me for the detox in return they say that they will give me alkaline water, I asked to get hydrogen water so I can become hydrated because the alkaline water just ran right through me , they refused did not even want to ask the owner if they could do it knew nothing about hydrogen water and gave me a very hard time seeing how it has everything to do with your health. This is supposed to be a a wellness store, dedicated to the well-being of you to help you get back to a great healthy stay in your life, if there's water that will help you become more healthy and hydrate you on a cellular level. Why don't they sell that? If you go to Chicago or New York, there are places that sell that that knows the benefits of that, if you don't get your blood tested, and then she has a small class letting you know about the blood types and you begin to ask her questions about your blood type. She instruct you to take her detox and then book her for a consultation, I get everybody needs to keep a good money flow coming in but how people are being scammed needs to be definitely put on blast!!! The customer service from the men that work here are Trash they show no care and concern about somebody's real health problems, and really just pushes you to buy their alkaline water and whatever else that's in the shop you can be going through financial hardship and really be wanting to get healthy so you can have the means to do what you need to do to become financial stable or what have you but you know you may have a few issues that stopping that and these people could help you if they have the right information and guidance there's a lot of Ponzi schemes in Georgia. The juices are amazing; I always get the hibiscus rose with the soursop and I've also tried their Golden Beet as well as their green juice that has pear in it. The rules are If you do not know your blood type you pay $20 for them to test your blood for you, but if you do know your blood type then there is no fee for them to give you a list of things that you should and should not be eating as well as a list of personality traits that matches Each blood type. I wish I had the opportunity to actually see her to get the help people said she could give! She's closed on Sundays and Mondays so I waited till Tuesday and came around 11am. She opens at 10am. There was a sign on the door that said she was at a meeting for 30 minutes. I was a little bummed but optimistic that she would return in 10-15 since I didn't know when she actually put the sign up. OVER AN HOUR LATER, she still hadn't returned. I counted about 10 customers who stopped by and pulled on the door then realized she wasn't there. I tried calling but the line was busy, and the woman in the car next to me said the line was going straight to voicemail. There's no way that I should have made so many new friends waiting for a service that should have taken less than a half hour. Its a shame because you hear so much positivity about this shop, yet first impressions last. Not sure if I'm going to come back, or have any recommendations for her. Before going to this place, I saw all the positive remarks about this establishment. So, I decided to give them a try. I had their special turkey chili. The chili was loaded with flavor, beans, meat and different spices. The only thing I wasn't sure about is whether or not it had pork in it. I should have asked the gentleman, but I removed the pink like sausage bits. They have the best tasting salad around. I got the Asian Crunch salad.
