I asked to be seated on the patio, and my waitress was very attentive and made an extra effort to make sure my order was what I wanted in terms of how to do the eggs, and some other variables. The portion was good and it tasted great, and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint was that the coffee was awful. For a place with such a huge breakfast crowd, I would think the coffee would be better. However, if I am in DV again, I would certainly dine here again (and order something else to drink).

It's definitely not much to look at but we decided to stay and try it anyway. Inside the decor was your basic bar. However it was clean and we were hungry. The service was fast and very friendly. We really appreciated the coffee. The menu had some unique items which was kind of nice. I order the avocado bennie and it was delicious. The prices were less than expected too. I think that my dish was $15.00. We both enjoyed our orders and the sever kept our coffee cups full. I would definitely return to the The Local House again.
