This park has gone down hill management needs to be let go. Loud music no one ever answers the phone. Trash everywhere. Worse of all they have rental rv's in prime spots . Duhh put them in the tent camp spots rv spots are prime real estate but rental spots aren't. Paid $40 for two to go fishing today. We got no bites at any of the lakes. We also saw no baby fish near the edges as we have in the past few months. I lowered the rating this visit because the lakes had no life in them. We lost a few hooks and lures instead getting no caught in the weeds and algae. read more

Unfortunately we had our first bad camping (RV) experience in my over 30+ years. And it's even worse it happen at a place we have been to numerous times. We had a 150+ qt ice chest stolen from one of the 3 sites I reserved. And I'm sure you might say it's my fault for leaving it out and for the most part you may be right, however I will say staying at this site and many others we have never had or even heard of these types of issues before. Most of the time I have seen security or park rangers making rounds all night long. However this time around at Yucaipa I did not. Which may have lead to personal property being stolen. It just sucks after 30years of not having to worry about your personal property being taken from your site you may want to think about putting your things away or even lock and cable everything here at Yucaipa........ read more

Came here for the swimming area. Got here 30 minutes before they open the pool area and there were lines already. I came on a Tuesday. Can't imagine weekends. The place is nice and well taken care of. The slides are long and super dope. Specially the open top one. I would love to fish on one of the lakes here next time. read more

As of lately Yucaipa regional park has become a yearly tradition. We simply enjoy it! Park opens at 7:30 am but people start to get in line as early at 6:30Am Park entrance is $10/ vehicle. This year we went to the pool side of it and had a blast! Pools open at 10:30 am but I highly recommend encourage you to get there early. It's has limited availability and so it's on a first come first serve basis. Swimmers cost is $8/person ( no slide access) Slide rate is $12/person They close at 5 pm. They have cabana rentals (3) again first come first serve basis. Rate is $100 for the rental. read more

Summertime is crazy here! I avoid this place at all costs. The line to get in is incredibly long, and once in the gate, parking is hard to come by. If you're not in line before the gate opens, entry to the water park area is a toss up. The park is nice, it's just the volume of visitors in summer that makes it hard to enjoy. read more

We went to this park to meet with people who wanted to adopt a dog that our neighbor abandoned, and were very impressed with all of the amenities. The fishing pond was quite busy and people of all ages were having a good time. We met with the adoptees at a picnic table in the frisbee golf area, and had friendly chats with a number of players that were enjoying the course. We drove through the park to look at the waterslides, which looked like something our kids would really enjoy when the weather gets hot in the Palm Springs area where we live. The cost was $10 per car to get in and $! per animal, but we were told that we didn't have to pay for our dog which was nice. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely drive the 1 hour to this park in the summertime. read more

I live nearby and we have an annual pass. Great place to go for a walk, hike or bike ride. The scenery is lovely and you kind of feel like you're "out there". It was a slow Friday and really nice winter day, so it became a picnic day. We picked up some sandwiches and brought some apples and soft drinks, and headed to the Yucaipa Regional Park for lunch and a stroll. This is an overlooked opportunity to break from the city, while still being in the city. This park is incredibly large and during the week has plenty of room for everyone. We paid $8 for the vehicle parking fee ($10 for the weekend days and holidays). As you can see from my pics the views from our picnic table were amazing. When we were done, we then walked about. As we went around one of the lakes, you can see in my pic a White Pelican floating. (Probably has something to do with the Park's recent stocking of fish. It is permissible to fish here, but there are rules and fees you'll need to find out about.) We then ventured up one of the hillier paths for great views of Yucaipa. Overall, this was a great escape from the concrete jungle. read more

This is for fishing only. Idk if it was because the holiday weekend after Xmas or what but nope! Never again might try on a "slower month" waaaay too many people I showed up at 5am and was still 15th car in line. With another 20/30 behind me in 10/20mins after arriving. And it kept getting longer and longer. Until 730am .. mainly a bait and wait game at all 3 lakes shoulder 2 shoulder. For 22$ I'd rather try my luck at SARL. Overall nice scenery and playgrounds for kids as well as restrooms. read more

The pool closed at 4pm for Treatment. The pool had 3 or 4 active life guards. There are buoys in the pool that Lifeguards remind the pool guests not to touch. There are two slides that are $12 entry, the pool is $8 entry. The parking fee is moderately priced. I look forward to planning a family event at your campgrounds. Was there 7/16 to fish. Drove to the end of the parking lot near the smallest fishing lake, the same parking lot that serves the swimming area. I went to the bathrooms near the fishing lake, where the playground is, and there were maggots all over the floor of the womens stalls. Absolutely disgusted, might as well have peed outside. read more

We reserved a camping spot the week prior to Labor Day (Sept 1) and the website said the pools were open through Sept 1. They were closed. Everything was closed. We chose this park for the additional fun but there was nothing open. It is a nice park but the pools being closed was a big disappointment. My husband and I came camping for two nights, with our two dogs on Thursday right after school was out for summer. We chose this place because the water park is advertised as "open daily." Well, it's only open on Saturdays and Sundays for the first month starting Memorial Day weekend. We left Saturday so we didn't get to go. Anyway, here's a tip, Google Maps tells you to turn left into the soccer fields. You need to keep going passed that, and the campground entrance is on the left. Once you get in, rv camping is to the right, and the tent camping/picnic area is to the left. The water park is also on the left side as well as a couple of lakes to fish at and enjoy the view of. You cannot see the lakes from the campground. The campground itself is pretty good. There is lots of space between sites with lots of shade. There are several double and triple sites also. The grass is a combination of green and brown weeds. We stayed in site 18, which was nice, but our Directv was blocked. The wifi was not available at all, and we had to use our mobile data the whole time. Our neighbors were very, very friendly and there was lots of space to walk and ride bikes. It's a 35-minute round trip walk to the tent area and back. There is no pool because they have the water park. It seemed like all the campers enjoyed themselves. read more

The camp grounds are beautiful, family time was amazing. Fishing funtastic only thing was we camped in the RV that they have available NOT COMFORTABLE. The cushions are plastic look to be 4" thick but squish to -1" inch and your sleeping on ply wood . Would have gave it 3 stars but the beauty of the park and the family time made the difference for an extra star. If they updated sleeping mattresses I would stay here again or maybe take our own blow ups ohhh and heaters don't reach the room so thankfully we took our own as a just in case read more

I just have to shout out the lifeguards and EMT and the rangers. My mom had a medical emergency and within 30 seconds five lifeguards came up and checked on my mom. Mind you it was almost 100 degrees and they RAN so fast up a hill They were all amazing and so nice! Thank you for all your help! Went for the first time to the swimming area and we loved it. It wasn't too crowded, the water was nice and cool, the area was clean and the prices were very reasonable. My only complaint is about the old man that was at the entrance booth charging for parking. He was rude and grumpy. I greeted him and said good morning and he didn't respond. Then I asked him where do we pay for the swimming fees (mind you, it was my first time going and I didn't know) and he responded with a major attitude and bothered that I even asked. Other than that, our experience was really good. I'm looking forward to seeing how's the fishing. I'll definitely be returning. read more

We stayed for an extended weekend, camping with a group. Spaces are a nice distance apart from each other. Plenty of room and many trees. Grounds were very well kept although there seems to be a gopher issue. Stores and restaurants are just minutes away, as well as Oak Glen where all the great apple stores are located. We had spot #38 and several others in the group in the #30s. Our spot had a nice view of the sunset over the hills. Long easily accessable back-in paved spots with concrete patio. (Spot 38 is closest to trash and bathrooms, but also a park wifi antenna.) Sunset hits the curb-side of the rig but trees shade a good part of that sun. Map shows fire rings throughout the campground but we didn't see any. We used our own wood-burning ring. We were warned to lock up valuables, but saw no issue with undesirables walking through. Maybe that's more an issue in summer/busy times? We didn't experience any of the amenities this time. Fishing, water slide, frisee golf, hiking trails are available. We're looking forward to a return trip. read more

Had a good time, I haven't been here since I was a child but I vividly remember coming here a lot. So I decided to take my kids minus my big one and we came on Wednesday and I guess they were doing maintenance for a few days so the waterslides were closed, bummer. Which the website said water slides we're open! No problem so we just decided to go on the paddle boat which was $24 for the three of us for an hour. It's 102 degrees and humid ...and this is what they chose to do first! 12 mins in my boys said ok we're done l... I don't think so. soooo here I am having my big strong boys paddle back! We then paid $14 to swim for 2. It was nice and cold (the water) so it was refreshing. They have a lot of space to sprawl out. I like the grass part! We definitely will be back and hopefully the waterslides will be working fingers crossed read more

You can camp at Yucaipa Regional Park!!! But did you know that if you do camp at this park you'll need to be super careful. THERE'S A TON OF Tarantulas!!!!! I'm not kidding. Even in the camp restrooms. They are everywhere there. I know you may say well you are camping there's bound to be insects and such. But I've camped at Silverwood Lake and there weren't any tarantulas running a muck that I seen away. These tarantulas at Yucaipa Regional are huge and everywhere!!!! Great camping and a great price. We have 4 motorhome with families and we all had a great time.

We decided to go fishing here for fathers day. An let me start off with the gentleman at the front gate was not pleasant at all. Very dry an a bit rude. So we entered an it was definitely a nice park. We decided to set up at a dock area (they have 4 from what we could see). We stayed about 6 hours an didnt catch anything but that was okay because it was very relaxing. Until it wasn't!!! They allowed people who rent padding boats go right into the fishing area!!! Like WHAT!!!! So a few out of control teens who were drinking an smoking ran right into our lines. Not once but twice (even after we asked them to please be careful). I know its not the parks fault for these kids. But why allow padding boats where you fish? Then we packed up an a worker came to empty the trash. He wasn't to pleasant as well. My husband said "Hey hows it going man" . An he ignored him. We will return of course Maybe not on the weekends read more

I was very impressed with this regional park! It's so big and very beautiful! We only spent about an hour in the park but it was long enough to see all the activities we can do next time we visit! My stepdad visits this park a lot to go fishing. He says even though he usually doesn't catch fish, the lakes are beautiful and it's still very relaxing. When we visited there were lots of people fishing and we could hear people saying some were catching fish so it is possible! I did notice that there was a communal pool that I guess is closed for the winter but good to know they have a pool for kids to play in! They also have a giant water slide and paddle boats! Those were also closed the day we went but I'm sure they are open some days in the summer! There were lots of spots for camping as well. We saw a mix of trailers and tents set up. There is also space for birthday parties with plenty of picnic table space. We walked along the paved road and all the cars that passed us were very courteous and drove slow around us. Next time we will be prepared to go on the hiking paths but this time we had our baby in the stroller so it was easier to stay on the road. We will be back again soon! read more

This Regional Park has improved 100% in it's cleanup efforts. Random trash very minimal even in remote brush areas. Replaced with new trash cans. Lids are closed to keep animals from getting into trash. Dead trees removed or marked for removal. read more
