He also installed a timer for our tree sprinklers which had to be manually operated before. Our yard was incredibly uneven and had big holes everywhere from previous gopher issues and possible overwatering/mowing. It was quite dangerous to walk on. They came today and raked a whole trailer of dirt throughout the yard to even everything out and will be reseeding on Monday. It's looking much better already. He helped us decide what type of grass would be best for us as well. We went with bermuda. We have been very happy with everything he has done so far and also use him for our monthly lawn maintenance, which includes periodic sprinkler audits. Once we decide on what trees we would like to add to our yard, we will definitely be calling him to assist with planting them. Unreliable and Overpriced - Avoid Mariano's Landscape…read more I hired Mariano's Landscape (based in Moreno Valley) in December 2024 to landscape my backyard. From the start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Their services are expensive, and I expected quality work. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The owner, Gabriel Mariano, planted diseased trees and assured me they would recover in warmer weather or be replaced. Months later--after numerous phone calls and site visits--nothing has been done. Communication has been all talk, with no follow-through. The concrete patio was another major issue. It was poured with a weak sand-and-cement mix that lacked any gravel or aggregate. I raised concerns, and they promised a quality control inspection would visit the job-site. No one ever came and Gabriel could not provide the name or license number of the concrete subcontractor they used. Bottom line: once they're paid, they disappear. They don't stand behind their work or resolve problems. I do not recommend Mariano's Landscape. The pictures speak for themselves.
