I sent out requests to help with yard work at my parents' home and Marques came back with the best quote. We worked out a deal and I was excited to get the work done. The day came and he sent a message that he could not come over as his child was ill and his wife was out of town. OK, I understand. Next day came and no word and no show. I sent a message and he responded that he didn't have anyone to watch his son. He never reached out until I messaged him. Day three came and I messaged to ask if he was coming....no response. Appointed time arrived and no show. I am sorry but if you commit to a job, I expect you to honor your end of the arrangement. I did read the reviews and saw that others had similar concerns. Let me start this one off as real as you can get. Marques quoted me a job from pictures. Was more than willing to come out and work in this inferno heat (102°) with zero complaints. The man showed up on time, was prompt, cordial, and easy to speak with. My lawn was insane (had not been mowed since January when I broke my foot) Marques jumped right into it, weed wacked it down to a low level, hit it with the mower. I made an appointment for lawn service for a rental house in Highland. Marcus arrived and started complaining about the weeds that were under the chain-link fence. I explain to him that's why I am hiring a gardener to take care of this area and the lawn. He was saying you have weed here you have weeds there.
