I am giving a 5-star rating so as not to spoil the average for this company, which has almost perfect ratings elsewhere (4.9 on Google). The owner is Efrain Munoz, who came in advance for our free estimate and remembered every detail of the work we asked him to do. He came with 4 helpers, mostly experienced family and friends, all of whom did good work. We hired them for tree and bush trimming and clearance of brush and weeds. The work quality was excellent, including clean-up. The trimming was elegant, and weed removal was more thorough than we expected. I have only a few reservations. They are not insured, which made me nervous because the most complex part of the job was trimming of a very tall palm tree. However, Efrain used very effective safety equipment. The price was more than double what we had paid for almost as much of the same type of work in the past, although I realize that everything has risen in price. And they did not call to notify us of the exact date they were coming, I had to call them when they missed their first estimated date. Despite these reservations, we were very impressed. read more

Our new "go to" tree service! After years of performing my own tree trimming maintenance on several properties, I was fortunate enough to get the recommendation for Efrian's Tree service from two friends who have used his services in the past. Efrain answered my call and came over the same morning to give me an estimate. We arraigned for a time and day to get the job done, and he arrived on time with a full crew who went right to work and left the trees looking like we live in a resort. Because 5 of the trees bordered with neighbors' fence, he had to access the neighbors back yard to clean up the tree liter that fell as a result of the work on our side. The neighbors told me that the trees look great, and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I could not agree more! Efrain Tree Services provided great service, was very quick to respond, and provided the best price for the job. The job: clean up a few branches off a huge pine tree and hang up a tree swing. Most tree service businesses responded with: "we don't provide that service." It was a small job, so I understand that not all businesses would take a small job. Efrain responded within an hour after I requested a quote through Yelp on a Saturday. He came out to my house on the following Monday morning and gave a quote that was less than the other three price quotes I had received. And less than half the cost compared to one quote I received. Much impressed with the service provided by Efrain and his team. Can definitely appreciate my front and backyard lawns looking a lot greener (despite the summer heat), as a result of their advice on watering duration and frequency, and their use of fertilizer/regrowth. I also appreciate the garden being tidied up even on the side yard. Would highly recommend to my friends and family. Efrain had also cut a tree that was very overgrown near the front yard. The branches were hanging downwards and blocking the pathway for walking. Within the shortest timeframe possible, that tree was looking so good that even on my security cameras I had a better view. After I had been quoted from multiple other providers, he provided me a prompt quote at very competitive pricing and quickly scheduled me in for a needed tree removal (with grinding of the stump) as well as trimming of three other mature trees on the property. This is a great company. I had a very big Mulberry tree split apart and come down in my front yard. It was a mess. The only thing still remaining was a large, very tall branch hanging over my house. I didn't know how we'd get that down without damaging the house. Efrain climbed up and cut it down, piece by piece, precisely and efficiently, without anything touching my roof. It was really impressive. After that, his crew made quick work of the rest of the job. It was done in a few hours. Not only that, Efrain is friendly, his prices are very fair, and he came out and gave me a free estimate the same day I called him. Efrain tree services did an excellent job removing two trees from my front lawn. I had a huge Mulberry tree and the roots were beginning to cause damage to my pipes as well as the branches laying on top of my roof. The other tree was leaning to its side and was about to fall over. Efrain did such a great job cutting and removing the stumps from the tree in such a timely manner. He was my last estimate of the day, my 3rd..and three times is a charm. He not only gave me a better price then the other two estimates, but he thoroughly explained what he would do and was able to do it ASAP. Such an amazing person/company. We moved into a home with 20 fruit trees that were neglected and needed immediate attention. We weren't sure we'd ever see fruit from any of these trees. Efrain pruned them all and went above and beyond by cleaning up all the brush on the ground too. This allowed us to enjoy our oranges, apples, apricots, peaches and more! I immediately loved his work ethic and asked him to start weekly lawn care. We've been using his services for a year now. Just last week, he trimmed our pepper trees without us even asking. In September Efrain Tree Service took down many trees in our backyard. They replaced a sprinkler line for no extra charge. They did a great job and for a very fair price. They later planted two trees for us. Recently they came because we had a water leak in the backyard. They worked about a half hour locating the leak. They were not able to do the work because it was under the concrete and they don't do concrete work. Again they did this for no additional charge. We think they do quality work and are so honest. We will definitely use their services again when needed. We wish we would have submitted a review sooner. Just lazy I guess! read more

I needed a huge 30' tree completely removed in my backyard. I was a little worried because it was so close to my aluminum awning, and 2 fences I didn't want anything damaged. I also figured it was going to cost a lot. I called Efrain and he came out the next day to give me an estimate. He showed up on time, gave me a very reasonable quote and was very friendly. He also told me he could come do it in a few days. I agreed and told him to do it. He showed up when he said he would and on time, took down the tree, removed the stump and cleaned everything up nicely, and no damages. Efrain did a huge palm tree removal in our backyard, as well as removing a bunch of smaller palm trees. He had to remove some of the fencing to get to the trees. The work he did was fantastic, stumps removed and dirt put in place of the holes from the tree removals. The fence was put back into place perfectly. The work was professional, and for a reasonable price. He even trimmed a tall that needed some care, at no extra charge. Efrain really takes good care of his customers. We highly recommend Efrain's Tree Service! First thing we noticed is that he calls back promptly. Some of the services never returned our messages at all. He was quick to show up to give us a quote and just as quick to render service. We had one very large tree that needed to be trimmed down, and another large tree that we wanted cut down completely. Efrain is a true master at what he does. Seemingly effortlessly, he was able to climb to the top of a tree that had cracked irreparably and was now looming ominously and threatening the safety and integrity of our house. We watched with several of our neighbors as he let the highest branch fall gently and gracefully to the ground without damaging our house in the slightest. We were all truly impressed. Got a letter from my HOA contacted Efrain to give a quote. He came out I told him the situation. I had a amount in my head at the price to remove 3 trees grind stubs and trim back trees. He gave me a qreat quote. I immediately told him to do it. They arrived promptly and was done in aa few hours.
