I finally broke down and started my search for one covered by my insurance. I wanted a chiropractor that has been around for some time, in a convenient location, trustworthy, and reputable. Unfortunately, most chiropractors in the area were either new, in a bad location, or had a ton of bad reviews. I was really surprised with what I found. Dr. Schaffer seemed to be the only chiropractor with excellent reviews and was very involved with his community. So I made an appointment. The first appointment was very long, about two hours. They had me get the paperwork completed, watch educational videos, run tests, and then meet the doctor. Dr Schaffer was very warm, friendly, and just wanted me to feel comfortable. I truly appreciated that because I was uneasy about having chiropractic care. He answered all of my questions and did the first adjustment that day. I am on a care plan, but I am very pleased with his work so far. I am feeling a lot better and can sleep at night. I am still waiting for my insurance to process their claims, but it seems to be inexpensive for everything I am having done. If anything changes with billing I will update the review. I am going to see if my husband can come here next for his back problems. I highly recommend anyone to come here.

I also consulted with 5 post-op Orthopaedic surgeons who said they saw nothing wrong in the X-rays & MRIs they took of my back. They all said that I should be walking well. Also, I consulted with two primary physicians who recently told me I should accept my limitations bcz this was probably the best mobility I would be able to achieve for the rest of my life. I have gone thru many rounds of PT, but my results have been a disappointment. I'm only 70-ish! By sheer luck, I met someone who recommended this chiropractor. Out of desperation I made an appointment as I had nothing but time & a little money to lose. My insurance covered everything. After 4 treatments in 2 weeks time, I am, much better. I must still use the walker for any distance but I am stronger & my stamina is measurably improved, & most importantly, I am pain-free!!! The doctor's office gave me a definition of what chiropractic does for the body. I do not have it in hand but it says something about bringing clarity to the pathways that lead to the brain. I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I found this place and made my first appointment…read morelast week. I was nervous, all I've ever seen are the scary neck cracking videos. The woman at the desk was so sweet and checked my temperature when I got in, had me put on hand sanitizer and then gave me gloves to wear throughout the visit. It was so nice to know they were taking precautions for COVID safety. I filled out an easy form and was brought back to meet Dr. Park. This man, is hilarious. I told him about all the pain I'm experiencing in my feet, hip, shoulder and lower back. I was still skeptical that anything he'd be able to do would help. After he assessed my posture and had me bend over to see how far I could reach, he had me lay down and began to press into me pretty hard, and then he did the neck cracking, some other cracking, a lot more of pressing into me (it's not a pleasant feeling) and then a very (ticklish) massage gun all over my back and the backs of my legs. When I was finished, he tilted my head back and I could see more of the ceiling. Huh!? I stood up and he asked me to bend over again. I touched my toes! HUH!? I was breathing deeper and walking straighter, I couldn't believe the sorcery! Not to mention, I had the BEST sleep of my life that night! I thought I could wait to return for another 2 weeks, but I said "screw it" and returned this week to see if he could fix my foot pain with the custom orthodics he's created. He put them into my shoes and it was the first time I'd walked on my feet in years without feeling pain. I had come in a few minutes early (as I always had without incident) and I was talked down to by the receptionist like I was a 2 year old - verbally scolded by a woman who was at least 20 years younger than me! I let that go but I was not happy! The following visit I was forced to wait and wait in a crowded waiting room for my last visit without any acknowledgment at all. But. . . But. . . isn't that so dangerous with the plague? I had even taken a half day from work!!! Finally I chose to walk the hell out. I did that and never came back. My last experience with the office staff was poor. Extremely condescending and rude. Dr did personally call to try to salvage my business but he chose his rude office staff over the patient saying he would "work" with her. If your office staff is rude and condescending to patients why would they be the face-voice of your business anyway? Lots of turnover here too- that speaks volumes. I guess the only time they seem to care is when you walk out- I was getting calls nonstop but when you are there? No appreciation. I've since had two other old school chiropractors who charge me next to nothing because I don't go through insurance. The one I saw was wonderful but fell ill and passed away- the other is amazing- Shout out to YOU DR JOSEPH WASHKO!! He also gives me plenty of time- I'm not rushed in and out like Dr C. It was a blessing in disguise- my last experience enabled me to find a far better value and comprehensive treatment. Sorry- not sorry.

I would never recommend Dr. Connelly…read more After almost an hour of him talking to me, discrediting my 10 years of health problems to "inflammation" and making snide remarks about all of my providers and what they were doing wrong to help me (PT, functional doc, previous Chiro) to try and make it seem like I just needed him... and telling me about how his wife left him... I politely declined X-rays without a thyroid collar (a common, evidence-based safety request). I was very calm and said "I'm not comfortable with it" - he became irate. I was met with aggression, intimidating (yelling) and personal attack. All in a room alone with him as a young female. It was extremely inappropriate, uncalled for and unprofessional response to a calm boundary well within my rights. Not a respectful or safe environment and I should honestly press charges for harassment.

I called and canceled my appointments and you'd think they'd at least have the decency give me a call back and give me some insight? No. No one called and they just canceled all my appointments since I'd didn't get any calls about missing any lol. I was willing to give this practice the benefit of the doubt since I've had no experience with a chiropractor before, and just see how it would go. Honestly, it just seems like a lack of care. They adjust you in an open area where honestly anyone can watch when there's private rooms in the back that they could to it. It just felt like a waste of my time. Especially since the first appointment was xrays, watching a really old video by yourself in the room and "visual tests". There's literally no need for you to have to come in the NEXT day and get adjusted. There's absolutely no reason why they can't do it same day. This entire waste of time costed me $80 and I wish I would've went ANYWHERE else. So, if you want to be treated with a one on one experience I'd find a better practice.
