Dr Raykhman may be a decent surgeon but he is rude, dismissive, inconsiderate, and his staff is incompetent and disorganized. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They don't know how to communicate information and they make you feel worthless. If this place gets shut down, I would not be surprised. I would NOT recommend this place--Brooklyn or Queens--to anyone. Find somewhere else to go. I question the 4-5 star reviews I see online and I doubt they're legitimate. After Raykhman did surgery on me, he gave me no paperwork to take home about post-operation care and instructions. I had to Google everything on my own. He does not reply to any messages in the Healthcare Portal, so it's pointless trying to reach him. He had the audacity to raise his voice in my face today telling me that I need to go home because I'm edgy, even though he was the one who called me to come in to his office. I'm debating if I should report him for behaving in such a threatening manner. I've visited this man 3 times and I don't think he has spent more 3 minutes talking to me. He is always rushing to do something else. Anytime you try to ask a question, he cuts you off and says, "You're fine. That's normal," even though he has no idea what you're going to ask. And he doesn't address any concern you have. I just had an operation done on my penis. Is it normal to bleed? When should I shower? What should I do if the bandages fall off? Is it normal to urinate with multiple streams coming out? Is it normal to have swelling underneath the stitches? He answered none of these questions. They were never discussed. He gave me no paperwork. He gave no instructions other than "No sex or masturbation for 4 weeks." But all my other issues--he has never devoted any time to answering me or explaining anything. I don't know why this man is a doctor if he hates patients so much. After my surgery, him and his staff didn't even want to give me painkillers. My girlfriend in the waiting room and to go buy Tylenol and bring it back for me while I'm there recovering from anesthesia. Raykhman needs to be careful he doesn't lose his license. I'm a very patient man, but his behavior is extremely unprofessional and I've had it with him. I will never go back to his office, even though I'm supposed to do a follow-up after my surgery. I will find someone else who actually values their patient's life. The amount of nonsense I've experience with this man and his staff in the last month cannot even fit on this Yelp review. They don't know how to draw blood properly; they store your urine cup in a public bathroom with a bunch of other people walking in and out; staff members don't communicate with you or each other; they messed up my STD test and I had to get blood drawn a second time; they had no communication with me before my surgery--I was the one who had to relentlessly call both their Brooklyn and Queens locations before anyone gave me any sort of information even though my surgery was less than 24 hours away. These people are a joke and don't value their patients' well-being. He and his staff are never ever seeing me again. They are rude, impolite, non-communicative, condescending, and simply need to find another profession to do. My family saw the entire ordeal from day one and they are equally frustrated and annoyed by the level of ineptitude and carelessness this office has put me through.

Today is the 14, they did not have a time selected yet and informed me on the 13th of November around 10am that my appointment is at 845 on the 14th. I agreed, had a friend take time out to escort me there and back. I thought things were set until I receive a phone call at 6pm telling me it got pushed back to 12. That was bothersome cause my escort made himself free that morning. I had to ask someone else to accompany me as it was very short notice. Today (November 14) they call me and cancel the appointment. Just like that. I had taken time off of work and had people take time off from their jobs for no reason. I was highly upset. The woman offers me a doctor note as I needed one. So I go to the office and I explain why I'm there and no one knows why. So after explaining I need a doctor's note to excuse me from work they finally agree. I tell the woman I feel like I'm forgotten and the other receptionist laughs and says your not the only one. I immediately look at her and say that's not funny nor something I want to hear. Both receptionists begin laughing. I was very upset. I keep my cool, ask for my note so I can leave. She gathers all this paperwork from the printer hands it to me and says I'm all set. I look at my note for any errors and I realize she never gave me a note. I ask where it is or if she could show me (thinking maybe I overlooked it) and the receptionist looks at me confused. She doesn't understand why I would need a note. I had to convince them for over 15 min that I could get in trouble with my job before they finally gave me a note. I have never been to a doctor office that made me feel like I was just a paycheck to them. I'm so upset and now I'm Stuck with kidney stones until November 28th and I feel uncertain if I'm actually gonna have my procedure done. I'm already nervous about it as is and this was the level of care they chose to give. They messed up my appointment and laughed to my face about it. Do yourself a favor and find any other urologist. This place is not worth it.

He's very easy to talk to, which is critical for a urologist, and when you disclose something personal to him, he puts you at ease by genuinely indicating that he's heard it before. A wonderful doctor with a wonderful staff! Going to a urologist for the first time is an anxiety producing experience. When I walked into Dr. Rosenfeld's waiting room, a great deal of the anxiety was alleviated. The receptionist was a "regular" person who really cared. Then I met Dr. Rosenfeld. He brought me into his "office" and spoke with me for several minutes. He interacted with me as if he had been a long term friend who was concerned with me medical issues. I really appreciated that. Then it came time for the exam, and once again, Dr. Rosenfeld conveyed a feeling of reassurance and professionalism. He made me feel completely comfortable in a situation that had felt terrified going into. That said, his diagnosis and treatment were completely accurate and my medical issues were alleviated in a couple of weeks. Dr. Rosenfeld is a God sent.

The front desk ladies are very rude, curt and stuck up both in person and over the phone. If you ever come here, make sure to specify exactly what you're there for and check your bills! I got hit with huge fees twice for things and tests I didn't approve of or were informed for. Went first time for routine follow up and then got a bill on the mail for over $1000 for anesthesia that I never even received. The second time I got a bill in the mail for a UTI test that was sent to a private lab that I also wasn't notified of, approved of or notified of. I called the private lab about the bill and they told me to contact the doctor's office. When I called they told me to email the billing department and wait for about 2 weeks for a reply. Waited the 2 weeks, got no reply. Called again and they told me to email another email address and wait for a reply. Got a reply after 3 days the reply was "we sent your request to the lab". Asked for my records to be emailed to me so I can find a new urologist and they never sent them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

His diagnosis is accurate and he starts with the most conservative treatment plan then, only if necessary, works toward more complex options. His office is located in a house so just be aware that it may not be as soundproof as a dedicated professional office space would be, but the fact that Dr. Rosenfeld is so easy to talk to takes precedence.
