Charming coffee shop with character. When you walk in, there's a narrow pathway towards the counter…read moreto order. There's menus on the wall in the hallway and at the counter. Very accessible. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have really fun decor, good lighting, trinkets and gifts to purchase, and different little spots to dine in, e.g., a small couch area, traditional table seating, a seat/bench by the window, and outdoor patio seating. It provides both a small, intimate setting but also a lot of room and space for groups of 3-4. I'm from California and was visiting family for a bit. Wanted to find a local coffee shop to work from. We came here about 10 years ago. Super happy this coffee shop is still around. Still has really good character, warm vibe, and employees were super welcoming to us. Grabbed a cold brew with foam, a mango/pineapple smoothie, a cookie (they gave us a second because one accidentally broke, kind gesture), a blueberry muffin, and a carrot muffin. Everything was great. That carrot muffin was the bomb. The cold brew was really good too. Classic caffeine kick, bold flavor as usual, and can really taste the fruit notes. I came back the next day to work. It was busy but there's still room to dine in and the team still got through the orders efficiently. For how busy it was, I didn't wait too long to order and get what I needed. Definitely overstayed my time but really needed a nice spot to work from. There's a lot of seating inside and out, but it gets pretty packed during lunch time. Was willing to give up my seat if needed. The staff consistently cleaned tables and seats and kind enough to just allow me to work despite my long stay. I went back to order a chai latte and the bagel and lox. The chai is unsweetened so I added their chai syrup. If you want it sweeter, probably add a bit more. I didn't mind their chai as is. Still good and getting all the spice notes after a cold brew was refreshing. The bagel and lox was phenomenal. I had to be proper and eat it like a civilized adult human being... but would've totally devoured it in seconds with my bare fingers if I was in the privacy of my home. Would come back.

Fun staff - they seem to enjoy their work and get along well with each other…read more Large Menu (drinks and food). Cool store and ambiance. Stay busy even though they're a small store.

Went for a special afternoon tea, but unfortunately probably ranks last on places I've ever done…read morehigh tea. It is a claustrophobic space and too much going on. They need to reduce and clean...especially the bathroom full of hanging clothes. There were items on the menu that were not available, but overall the tea part was fine (they just took a while to bring out sugar, milk etc. that you'd expect to come with it). The most disappointing part was that I'd assumed since it was a cafe that there would be fresh pastries or other items homemade on the tea platters. The scones seemed fresh, but a lot of the other appetizer items looked like the frozen hors d'oeuvres from Costco or something, which was super sad. Overall, I would have expected more for the price and the non-optional $20 gratuity.

A heartbreaking disappointment. I was so excited for this experience. I tried hard to enjoy it…read more It's Valentine's Day and I am being treated to lunch. This never happens to me. I love French inspired cuisine. I have traveled across France. We hosted a French exchange student for a year. I took French in school. This was meant to be a specialized gift for the occasion. The small seating area only had 10 tables tightly fitted into the back of the strip shopping center store. The decor was eclectic but overwhelming. It feels claustrophobic but clean. There were two servers tending to the dining room. They were friendly. There were mistakes on the special menu and they alerted of the issues. They had a special Valentines menu, a tea menu, and a dessert menu. The tea was good. They got it out in a reasonable time. The server brought me a smidge of honey. They had a decent selection of caffeine free teas. She took our food order the same time as our tea order. We sat at our table waiting for an hour before questioned the status of our meal. The table beside us was also becoming restless and tired of waiting. Finally the table beside us received his chicken salad sandwich. His date received my date's order ant took a bite. They resolved this by taking the plate from the incorrect table and gave it to my date AFTER it was touched! This left me sitting there with no food. My date finished her meal and I was still sitting there with nothing. I only ordered a salad topped with grilled chicken!!! After being there for one hour and fifty minutes they said the chicken was still not ready. They didn't charge if for our meal but I never received any food. Nothing. This was a well thought out special occasion that was ruined by an incompetent kitchen. It was a disaster. I left there and stopped by Jersey Mike's. Two hours of my life totally wasted.

You are able to adopt from here as well! Usually, local coffee shops do not always taste like other chain coffee shops, however i got a sugar free iced white mocha and it was a 10/10. I could not even tell it was sugar free at all. it was very good and sweet. Very good coffee for a really good price. The bathroom was kept clean as well as the entire facility.

Their Facebook was promoting a ''meet the kitties" event on a Saturday, and we booked tickets easily using their website. During our visit, Jessica introduced us to the process and the kitties. She was so sweet and gave insight on their various personalities. We learned that they work with Angels to the Animals as well. The cat room is intimate but spacious enough for a few different groups. They have tons of toys, enrichment items, even a kitty tv. We ordered coffee which she delivered right to us. They have lots of flavor options. I got a white mocha, yum! We ended up putting in an adoption application for a kitten, and got the call within a week that he was ready to bring home! Leslie, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He's an absolute doll and we couldn't be happier! Definitely recommend this cafe for a fun weekend activity... though you may end up with a cat even after one visit!
