The place looks nice, clean, and the gentlemen that served me was kind. There is no problem with service here. It was fine. However, this is just awful food. The hot and sour soup has 0 flavor. It's oily, which is new to me, and gross. I got a beef dish which was 70% oil. It had some actual spice to it which was nice but unfortunately it was swimming in oil and rather flavorless. The fried rice is the worst I think I've ever had. Sorry, too many options around to ever try this one again. read more

They have a great selection of items on their menu, their food is delicious (and made to order), and they're reasonably priced! My absolute favorite is their sweet and sour chicken and my fiancé's favorite is broccoli beef. Our order is always correct and ready within a timely fashion and the owners are incredibly friendly! You can tell that they take great pride in what they do. Dine-in isn't available, masks are required upon entry, and the parking lot is spacious! If you haven't tried Yummy China yet, please do! I also recommend anything in their black bean sauce - delicious. All of their dishes are packed with whatever meat or fish you order. the closer fast chinese restaurant to my home is closed on Sundays. After getting the menu for Yummy China in the mail, I decided to give it a try. I wish I had saved my money. The combos I would have ordered elsewhere were not what I pictured upon getting home. The chicken and beef were both breaded. I expected the chicken to be, but orange beef should bot be breaded. it made the beef almost inedible. the rice was cooked well. I wish I had more descriptive words, but bland and tasteless were all I could get out of those meals. The location works for OC students, so that's a plus, and open on Sundays. So if you just want sweet and sour chicken as many people love for some reason, it's worth trying out. I didn't order it, but I doubt they can mess that up. It's a staple for America. read more

Yummy China is a nice low end Chinese food place next to a University campus. It's clean and tasty and the portions are large. The food is good, but it's not fancy. My daughter and I really enjoy eating here once a month or so. The staff is very friendly as well. All in all Yummy China is a good quick dining experience. read more

This was totally fine on a whim. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken dinner combination with steamed rice. The sweet and sour sauce had a lot of "burnt" specks in it. The chicken wasn't super great. We're new to Edmond and have yet to find a non chain Chinese restaurant that we'll go back to a second time. Unfortunately, Yummy China falls in that category. The fried crab cheese wontons lacked crab, the Mongolian Beef lacked beef, and the seafood dish with imitation crab didn't taste very good. Good Chinese food is not easy to find. I don't feel that they have received a fair break on reviews. I don't understand why people give a great review but then only give them 3 stars. So, here's the deal. My husband and I placed our order online and went to pick it up. We got Pork Chow Mein, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls and Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was all very fresh, not greasy and very tasty! I loved everything that we got! The only thing I didn't love was the sweet and sour sauce. I wish it was a bit thicker. Other than that, we loved it! We don't eat Chinese out often because I prefer to cook my own. Those times I want a break from cooking, this will be our go to place! Give it a try! read more

Ever since House of Hunan shut down (RIP) I have been on the hunt for a satisfying egg roll. It was labor day, so a few other suggested places were shut down, but not Yummy China! So, bonus points for being open. Sweet and sour chicken was as expected for quick Chinese takeout. I liked it. Fried rice actually way better than expected! General tso's chicken was not spicy at all and bites ranged from just right tender to tough and chewy. White rice was mediocre, and wonton soup was in a chicken broth with thicker than usual wonton wrappers. And the egg roll? Actually pretty good! I liked the flavor, but it was a little greasy, and the chop on the cabbage was a little larger. I liked that about it because it kept the cabbage crispier, but my husband did not like it. Overall, we liked it, but did feel it was a little pricier than other good, local options. read more

My kid had an appt in the area and we decided to try it. There are a few rickety booths for dine in but my daughter and I did not feel very welcome. This is more of a "to-go" kind of place. No one seated or greeted us at 12:30 on a Monday. We used paper menus to select our choice, ordered drinks, and paid. The lady at the counter wasn't rude but I didn't find her pleasant either with her "yeahs" and "okays". I retrieved our drinks from the cooler after she brought our food on a tray. It was super hot when it came out. I felt the food had really good flavor. The bathrooms were gross. The tables and chairs had dirt in between and around the floor an hour and a half into their day, and the trash can in the lobby has a dirty trash door. All the leftovers had been eaten the next day and now my family wants to order here again. I won't return. I feel like your lobby is a reflection of your kitchen. read more

Apparently they don't understand the concept of "Standard Time." I tried repeatedly to order several lunch special around 2:15. Every time I tried to order I was met with a message of "Lunch specials are available from 11:00-3:00." Either they, or their webservice can't tell time. This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. First, I tried orange chicken, and the chicken was rubber. It's the same chicken used in general tso's and many other plates, so I thought it might have just been old or bad. Tonight I tried a cashew chicken, it's not breaded so I thought it might be better. It was actually worse. It was either raw and rubbery/crunchy, or so over cooked that it was rubbery/crunchy. Either way. We will never be back. read more
