General Tsos with fried rice and steamed rice Sauce was for the pork buns and it was amazing!

People of Oklahoma, Yu Xiang Yuan is THE spot for Chinese Cuisine. You walk in to an inviting and clean dining area with authentic decor. The place is quiet but don't let that fool you! This place has takeout keeping them busy but the staff is attentive and super kind. First time here and the only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't discover this place sooner! MY SOUL WAS HEALED from their Beef Lo Mein. Everything is fresh and the flavors are phenomenal! We had the pork buns (guys, get them), followed by the beef lo mein, general tso chicken and lastly the amber walnut shrimp which are the side of Texas. When they say jumbo it's no joke... Crispy shrimp and chicken with the right amount of sauce! You know this place is legit and authentic because the food comes out in waves as it is cooked to order. Absolutely phenomenal and this is the new go-to for us.

Best Chinese fusion restaurant around the food never disappoints and all the meat and veggies are fresh. We usually order for take out but wanted to experience sit down service the staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Surprised how empty it was in there but I guess more ppl order take out. The ambiance is nice clean environment with the usual Asian aesthetics. I'm a repeat customer and always order something different that's how big their menu is

The food is ok. Decent chicken and broccoli. The sauce had good flavor Taste like chicken boulion. Good. The sauce is thick. 6 of 10 The hot sour soup was thick and plane with tofu. of 5 10 The fried rice was a bit dry but ok. 3 of 10 I would get white rice instead maybe next time. Or lomein noodles instead I would eat here again. Also fair price nice.

Review is based on my takeout order from Yu Xiang Yuan delivered by DoorDash. I loved that the menu was extensive but easy to navigate on the app. The food was prepared quickly and delivered 15 minutes after pick up still piping hot. Pork Dumplings in Chili Oil (1/5) - This appetizer was disappointing since the chili oil sauce was primarily a soy sauce base. Fish Filet poached with chili oil (5/5) - This has always been my favorite Szechuan dish and Yu Xiang Yuan's version was absolutely delicious and spicy. There was ample fish filet and a good amount of napa cabbage and bean sprouts. This dish included your choice of white rice or fried rice. Eggplant in garlic sauce (5/5) - This eggplant dish was drenched in a delicious garlicky sauce packed with flavor. There was also bell pepper and onion with well cooked eggplant. The dish included your choice of white rice or fried rice. Although the appetizer wasn't great, the entree and side made up for it. I would definitely order from here again if I'm ever in the area.

Extremely clean, friendly staff and outstanding food. Authentic menu options, full of spice and flavor. We can't wait to return and try more dishes.

Oh my gosh! We were so happy we stopped. We were traveling through and wanted good Chinese. This place exceeded our expectations and was truly authentic. We got several things so we could have left overs. Our favorite was the tilapia with sour vegetables. Staff was so sweet and kind and service was excellent. 100% recommend!!!!! Wish we lived closer!

Went a second time with my wife and friends. Really enjoyed it. Started with garlic cucumber salad and smoked duck both excellent. We tried spicy tofu and asparagus with shrimp. Also had Kung Po chicken with egg rolls. Every thing was well prepared and delicious. Service was excellent. My friend said the restaurant used to be called Don's Cave.

Delicious food, the menu with pictures is gourmet quality, awesome interior decor with paintings and masks and fast service. Truly a hidden gem in Del City! I got the cumin beef and also the noodles with gravy sauce. You can also choose fried rice free of charge instead of white rice (no upgrade cost). Definitely recommended!

It's good and food doesn't all taste the same. The lo mein was good but the noodles were a little mushy. I like toothsome to my lo mein.

I ordered the following: Crab Rangoon - spot on and tasty Shrimp fried rice - tiny shrimp, kinda like the ones you ordered off the back of a Mad Magazine backin the 70s and 80s. Was still tasty, but it was a real Where's Waldo trying to find that tiny shrimp. Curry Chicken - needs more chicken and more curry juice...otherwise this was the best dish from what I ordered...perfect medium heat as requested. Came with its own side of fried rice, which was a little lacking in flavor. Lastly, ordered the Beef Lo Mein. This was the dish I hoped would be that greasy goodness I desired. Alas, I would be greatly disappointed on so many levels. It tasted burnt. Not just a slight burnt taste, but all the way through every ingredient...even the beef. The noodles used were not the think lo mein your expect, I don't know if they ran out, but they used either angel hair or vermicelli, either way, very disappointing. Basically just a big glob of dark brown noodles and beef. Really had high hopes that a truly dive joint like this would have stepped up to the plate and delivered that greasy goodness...only to fall so short of even being a good dive spot. The only good thing was everything only cost $30, tip included.

The lite menu is a set menu with six options. Some are $9, some are $9:50. I ordered from the lite lunch menu; egg roll, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and vegetable lo mein noodles. Every time I eat here they usually serve more food than you or at least I, can eat. It is very fresh and delicious. I was pleased to see garlic chicken is not the usual chopped up chicken pices. It is breast meat cut in fairly large pieces. Tempura breading and oh so good. His chicken on a steak is also made fresh in house and he uses breast meat for that as well. Veggies are amazing and other menu items very fresh. I don't belive this restaurant uses any per purchased, per made foods. I can tell because I also am a Chef. I give this restaurant a positive 10 out of 10 on every point. I eat here at least 3 to 4 times per month. I've never had a bad dish of any item. If you go on Friday and Saturday. They have a very good and even Hot buffet. Good variety good fresh hot food. Even a selection of hot teas. I could believe I didn't know about this place until I discovered it. If you think you're going to see a fancy facade. Nope very humble place but impeccably clean. This has become my favorite place for Chinees food. I like other places but rarely go to them any more.
