The service was phenomenal and they were really kind. Downside is they don't do delivery which is a bummer. We likely won't go back which is unfortunate but the food was just so so. The egg drop soup tasted the way paint thinner smells and we all immediately spit it out. Super bummed bc it's mine and my daughter's favorite dish usually!! The regular egg rolls were TERRIBLE!! The house special fried rice was flavorless BUT the Shanghai Spring Roll, Crab Rangoon, and House Mei Fun were FANTASTIC!!! The food is mediocre but meets the need when you are limited on time and options. Since there aren't many here. The people who own and work here are very nice and hard working. I appreciate the smile they always have when I order my food. The actual place has no sitting or dine in setup because apparently the landlord won't allow it? This is from what they told me. Other than that it's a decent place. I get what I am expecting from a location like this. Don't go in expecting too much and you won't be disappointed. Not a great experience. I was looking forward to lunch and chose this location because of promixty . Ordered beef lo mein it was awful. It smelled good but that was deceiving. The meat was pink and gummy it was difficult to digest. Actually all the meat was disgusting. I'm grateful that they allowed me to return it. read more

I am really sad to write this review. I used to order from Great Wall quite a bit a couple years ago and remembered last night how good it was and decided to place an order. I ordered curry chick, wonton soup and crab ragoons. Every item was awful. The wonton soup was orange and flavorless, the crab ragoons had so little filling I couldn't taste anything but the wonton wrapper and my favorite curry chick had very, very little chick which was made up of an over whelming amount of sliced onions. It's hard to find a good Chinese restaurant in OKC and I'm on the look out for a new one. read more

Food at this location is not good. Called in order and the person taking my order had a hard time understanding that we wanted simply an order of teriyaki chicken with lo mein noodles. Apparently not an option on their menu, she threw something together that wasn't good and had no teriyaki sauce. Would not recommend. I really thought that once you've had one of these Chinese restaurants that you'd had them all. But, this one proved me wrong. It is really just not good. The Kung Pao chicken had some weird gravy on it. Not anything like I have ever had. It was almost like a brown jelly. Really unappetizing. Strangely, my wife's sesame chicken had the exact same sauce but it wasn't as gross. I didn't eat my entire meal, and it's takeout so it was a massive let down. The Lo mein was also either old or over cooked and they left off my egg roll. Just a real bummer. Don't go here or order either of these dishes. read more

This is my favorite Chinese takeout place in Edmond. I have ordered over the phone and using their website. My order has been accurate each time! Some of my favorites include the broccoli beef, Lo mein noodles, chicken with veggies, and sweet and sour chicken. I do wish that their crab rangoons had a little bit more cream cheese filling, but overall I am always satisfied with what I get. The lunch specials are a fantastic deal and this place is QUICK! The wings looked good on the website but turned out to be fatty and greasy! The lemon pepper tasted like onions oddly!!! The general tso was rubbery and dry! The accommodating rice was clear and hard and my chicken fried rice was bland, barely fried and the chicken looked and had the consistency of fat on bacon! Best general tso chicken in town, better than the other great walls, they forgot my drink, I called, they offered to take the $1.10 off the next order, but not to bring it. They didn't, and didn't next order either. Denied it ever happened. GrubHub refunded me the dollar. Then charges for past orders started showing up in my bank acct. Again, GrubHub refunded me but it happened 3 times in a week starting the day after the complaint. All over a dollar. read more

The owners and staff are really nice! They do have your name, address, phone number and credit card on file (if you order before)..so it's easy to order. They have a big menu, everything taste delicious. The portions are great. They have 2 fish tanks you can enjoy while you are waiting on your food. Both take-out and delivery are fast. Have ordered from Great Wall many, many times. The family dinner for two usually gives my husband and I another full meal out of the deal, especially with the soup. Although this time we went with the dinner for four... we will probably have leftovers for days!! :-) Great quality, great price. Hubby and I usually request "asap" delivery, but tonight we requested delivery at a certain time - they delivered exactly on time! We've only had one issue where they didn't show we paid online when they delivered, but they called and found our payment. Not lowering the star rating for that - it was taken care of and every other time has been perfect. We usually get the sweet and sour chicken, it's fabulous! This place does mostly carry-out and it shows in the quality. The Mu Shu Pork was great - the pancakes were forgotten, but a simple phone call, and they arrived 15 mins later. The Cashew Shrimp is also a winner. Both portions were large enough for two people to have two meals. The hot and sour soup was right on target. Best Chinese take-out in Edmond! I live in an area that most take-out/delivery won't deliver, no matter the cuisine. Although there is a slightly higher delivery charge (warranted, imo), the delivery is always fast, the food is always fresh and hot and the order is always accurate! On 8/25/19, What usually is a great experience, was disappointingly poor. When I called to place an order, the person (or "Boss", who my receipt said my server was) simply answered "hello" , in a mumbled and annoyed tone. I had to ask if I had called "Great Wall", to find out if I was even talking to the right place. I thought I had accidentally called the wrong number and awakened someone from a nap. Then, I was ask, " can you hold on?" And instead of putting me on hold, simply laid the phone down and proceed to argue with a customer over $12 change, which the customer ( who I could plainly hear) kept repeating: "Just give me ,my twelve dollars. You owe me twelve dollars". When he did come back on the phone, I had to repeat my order three times, before he repeated it back correctly. When I arrived to pick up my order. The large male at the counter had a mouth so stuffed full of food, that he could barley speak to me. With his mouth still stuffed, I might add. He had a bowl full of food and was eating it at the register! While he took my credit card and was ringing me up, he took additional bites of food, and continued to to speak to me with his mouth full of food. Disgusting , Very unprofessional, and a HEALTH CODE violation! THEN, when I got home, my order was wrong! (after I had repeated to him three times) Instead of sweet and sour SHRIMP, I received sweet and sour chicken. My wife's broccoli chicken (which she usually loves from there) was UNEATABLE, the chicken was stale and crumbling/falling apart, with a peculiar taste. The egg rolls which are usually crisp, flavorful and full of pork, where soft, bland and full of cabbage. I don't know if they have new manager or cooks, but the counter person HAS to go.
