Dr. Lee is fantastic! She listens, truly thinks about what options are best to fit your eye vision needs; whether you are trying to wear contacts, or glasses. Dr. Lee helped me try a bifocal contact for the first time. She thought about the type of contact that would be comfortable for me to wear as well as work for the type of vision I needed for both distance & reading. She constantly was thinking about my vision eye needs the entire time I was with her in her office. She thinks outside the box for the best options. She has a great personality too; bubbly & personable. This past holiday weekend, the Fourth of July, I had a problem with the new contact I just got on July 3rd. Her office was closed so I wrote an email not expecting a response until Monday when they opened again. I was shocked, delightedly happy and surprised when Dr. Lee called me on Saturday, even though her office was closed, to ask about my contact trouble. I had my apt on Tuesday and let me tell you she does not disappoint! She took her time with me and gave me several options. She was able to see that I had an astigmatism and gave me to correct rx. I was expecting A LOT after reading the reviews. And she still exceeded my expectations by miles. She is so incredibly thorough and friendly and good at her job. Her assistant is wonderful too. She and I had decided on how some glasses were going to go and Dr. Lee said wait I thought you were doing this and what about this etc. my appt was at 1:15 today and I returned with the measurements to my computer monitor at 6:30 and she remembered what we had talked about earlier. Dr Lee is the best there is. Due to several reasons, I've seen over 6 different eye doctors in the last 10 years. I came to Dr Lee's office last year and have been blown away with the care and passion that she has. Her staff has been great too. I love the convenience of being able to text the office and they respond back! I don't know how Dr Lee does it with her busy schedule but she also finds time to respond back or call her patients, after hours and on the weekends! She is all about her patients and helps reduce cost on unnecessary purchases. If I had to say something negative, it would be, expect to be there for at least an hour. My insurance was expiring the following day that I contacted Dr. Lee and she was texting me back and forth until 10pm or so. This way I could take advantage of my benefits before they expired. Was recommended to Dr. Lee by a friend. My last contact lens exam from another optometrist didn't seem accurate and from the beginning street signs and small objects at work were hard to see. I thought maybe my eyes were just getting to that age where I would never see 20/20 again even with contacts. When I called her office she was able to work with me and find me an appointment that worked with my schedule. I had first met Dr. Lee as my optometrist when Costco expanded and moved to its current location in Visalia. I had just moved to the area and was in need of a new eye doctor. I always enjoyed her bubbly personality and felt very comfortable although it was hard to be a walk-in or make any last minute appointments because she was always so busy. Then one day she was no longer there. A good few years later, I found an old contact card and called it out of curiosity. To my surprise she answered from her personal phone! I made an appointment with her at her new/current location inside Sears at the Sequoia Mall. She accommodated to my schedule and came to her office even though at the time she reduced her hours to focus on her family. I am so glad to have made a connection again. My husband recently decided to have vision correction and she gave him a referral to a great surgeon and informed him of all the information he needed to make his decision. He's been very satisfied with her level of professionalism and knowledge for pre and post surgery follow-up appointments. When she wasn't able to answer a question, she would do her research and got back to us in a timely manner. She's very thorough and spends the time to answers all our questions which might be why wait times can sometimes be long. Who wouldn't want that in a doctor? I'd say most would agree that eyesight would be the last of the five senses one would want to lose so why not choose someone who you can trust and spends quality time with their patients? Her reassuring mannerism and lighthearted sense of humor quickly put me at ease. She is extremely talented at her craft and completely professional in the way she presents herself while conducting her examinations. Stopped in while visiting my family last year and wont be doing so again. I had to wait over 30 minutes even though I had an appointment. During the exam we were having trouble getting my prescription right and she basically told me its my fault because I didn't bring in my old prescription and she had to start from scratch. Weird, I've never been told that before and I've worn glasses since I was 5. To top it off one contact was sitting wrong so I had to wait for her to finish with her next appointment so I could get it corrected! Not a fan... some of the staff were helpful though. read more
