My daughter is a 22 month old who currently attends the Westborough YWCA. I can't say enough great things about their daycare center. My daughter loves books because of the YWCA. We tried reading with her at home prior to enrolling her in daycare, but she'd just wrestle the book away. Within a short time after enrolling her at the YWCA, she had grown to love books. These days she's always bringing us a book to read; that affinity started at the YWCA. I know the YWCA is responsible for that because on most mornings when I drop her off, her teachers are reading with the toddlers in a small circle... With regard to the teachers, they are simply PHENOMENAL. I knew they were good, but didn't understand the extent to which they do a fantastic job until we pulled our daughter out of the YWCA for a brief period because we wanted to enroll her at a daycare closer to where we work. After three appalling and unimpressive months at the other daycare center, we decided to call the YWCA to get our daughter back in there. I was seriously prepared to beg her way back in! The teachers at the Westborough YWCA belong in the profession. They enjoy what they're doing. It's evident every single day when I drop my daughter off. They're always cheerful and energetic. On top of that they engage the children in meaningful ways. At the other center, the teachers seemed disinterested and the classroom was way too chaotic and seemingly disorganized. That is NEVER EVER the case at the YWCA. These teachers connect with the children, and it shows. My daughter and the other toddlers in her classroom will have a leg up later on in life because of this experience. I'm very confident in that. My sense is that this experience I'm glowing about isn't restricted to one classroom; I believe this extraordinary service starts from the top with the Director--who's also terrific! It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to hear other parents share similar remarks about the Westborough YWCA. Even though it takes a half hour to drive my daughter to the center and another twenty minutes to get to work, it's well worth it for me because I know my daughter is in great hands. You will be hard pressed to find a better place for your toddler; the Westborough YWCA is simply awesome! read more

Hi, My name is Sidonie S. I am a mother of four wonderful children namely Mireille, Junior, Nicky and Yannick. All my four kids are attending the YWCA in Westborough. My six year old Mireille spent all her baby years right up to Pre K before heading to Kindergarten. My other three kids all started as infants at the Y and they are such smart kids. The Y to me is like a second home to my kids. When i drop them in the morning i have nothing to worry about because the teachers have proven to me that they are not just there for the money but that they really care very much about the welfare of all the kids there. I am very comfortable with the center and i will recommend as many parents as possible to enroll their kids there when ever i get the opportunity. No one is 100% perfect but the Y is near perfection. If i did not think they were doing a great job i would not continue to allow them take care of my four precious children. I am very proud of being part of this great center and i will never stop thanking them for taking such good care of my kids and all the other kids in the center. read more

My daughter attended the YWCA for 2 years. We had switched from another daycare center which she attended for almost 5 years. After an exhaustive search we decided on the YWCA. It was the best decision we could have made. My daughter instantly loved the school, the teachers, and the other children. I was so worried about changing daycare centers, but they made my daughter feel welcome and special from day one. The staff at the YWCA made the transition for both my daughter and our family so smooth. She had a great experience and really became very close to many of the teachers and even the director. Ms. Luisa can often be found in the classrooms and playing with the kids. I love the way this center takes walks around town and explores Westborough through visitors from the fire department to walking to the library. My daughter has now moved on to kindergarten, but she still talks about the YWCA and we go back often to visit. I would highly recommend this center. read more
