My daughter was sat down to have her chocolate donut and i was told she couldn't eat it there because of allergies and that chocolate was one of them. I had to put it away and they asked me to play with her in the back of the center. A few hours later a girl was eating the same donut at the same table for snack. my daughter is part black, and this does NOT sit right with me at all. she was moved down to infants because she wasn't as Mobil. she's extremely Mobil let alone advanced she's the busiest girl I know. she's at the age of toddlers. I was then fired a few hours later not even given a chance to fulfill my full day. They had me pick up my daughter in front of the other teachers and leave in front of everybody. they used an excuse I was not hands on but I very much was and have worked in daycare before and was always praised for how I interacted with children. when I picked her up she was absolutely filthy. they didn't even use a bib on her white shirt. her diaper was extremely full. they did not update me on her diaper changes, time of nap when to when, or gave me access to the photos taken. very rude and discriminatory center.

There are a few good teachers in the Children's House, but beyond that, very little has been positive. Ms Manviya is great! Teacher consistency is poor, and there have been numerous management changes. The only good thing is that the classrooms are spacious and filled with natural light. But the second she transitioned into the toddler room, everything fell apart. She came home with undocumented bite marks -- yes, bite marks that no one noticed or cared to report. She was sent home in soiled diapers almost every single day. The staff used the wrong diapers, wrong wipes, and even applied diaper rash cream when I had specifically instructed them to use coconut oil. That was never authorized. It felt like my directions as a parent were ignored. The turnover is out of control -- teachers come and go constantly because they are clearly underpaid and unsupported. The director changes so often that there is no leadership or accountability. The classrooms are dirty, the toys are old, and kids are always sick because the place is not properly cleaned. And if that wasn't enough, their billing practices are a complete disaster. Despite my child being on a voucher, they suddenly decided I owed them $4,000 because they didn't process payments correctly for months. Then they had the nerve to demand I pay it all at once, as if their incompetence was somehow my fault. At the end of the day, I pulled my daughter out because I could no longer trust them to keep her safe, clean, or cared for. I put her in an at-home daycare and the difference is night and day -- she is calmer, happier, and thriving. Guidepost Montessori in Marlborough is nothing more than a glorified, overpriced daycare that fails children and families. They are disorganized, careless, and completely unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the heartache -- your child deserves so much better.

I think that they just don't have the experience or expertise to work effectively with children who may need a little something different. As for the actual day? It's very structured, with very little outdoor time, and high staff turnover. In the three months we were there, our sons had three different primary teachers for the classroom. I wonder: if we had been there for 12 months, would our sons have had 12 teachers?!?! Bright Horizons had come very highly recommended to us, but we were terribly disappointed. We're now in a preschool with a play-based curriculum, plenty of outdoor time and teachers who have been with the program for several years, and our kids are thriving.

On first look the facilities look amazing - a great indoor place space, a fantastic art studio but…read morethe place the kids spend most of their time is the classroom that we had 2 independent experts tell us it was small and cramped with furniture for 9 kids 2 teachers and parents coming and going all day. Our son didn't last even 3 months in the toddler program because they deemed he was 'aggressive'. Yet he has displayed none of those behaviors at his new, more spacious daycare. So much time is unstructured play that if kids don't yet know how to play on their own they end up a bit lost. At least that's how Early Intervention explained their observations of BH Sudbury. Bright Horizons say all the right things but in our experience rarely actually followed through on the things that were going to make a difference. When an action plan was put together the staff were 3 weeks late putting together a cozy corner to help the kids have a relaxing space for when they got distressed. That was what upset us the most they didn't seem to put the action that would have benefitted our son first. We care that other children were being affected, which is why we acted immediately upon being informed it was a growing concern. Initially they said it wasn't a problem and deemed just toddler behavior between the children until the center could not cope. It felt like that they had decided that he became too much hassle and because they can fill the available space ten times over it seemed to us they just couldn't be bothered. They asked for our agreement to bring in 2 outside agencies, Early Intervention and Enable who could not start with the center until Dec 4th and yet he was asked to leave on Dec 11th. Enable had not even completed their assessment of the situation or plan to support the center and our family. Early Intervention had been only twice. When we offered to pay for an additional teacher to support the center it was deemed not necessary in the early stages and we should wait for the intervention of the supporting agencies. But they never gave the experts the time to help. All this coupled with the fact that we signed an agreement the week before our son was due to start and the center director got the price wrong on the contract and she also told us she had made a mistake while we were on the wait list and that the place she had reserved for us was no longer available makes our overall experience of Bright Horizons Sudbury very unsatisfactory. It's not like we are biased against Bright Horizons our son went to Bright Horizons Wellesley for 3 months while we were on the wait list for Bright Horizons Sudbury and we can't fault them. During the process we would have done anything to keep our son at Bright Horizons Sudbury, in the end you couldn't have paid us to keep him there.

I am blown away by the variety of activities the children are doing. Especially when at a very young age she would bring home little art projects. They have a weekly sports camp and the Tumblebus. My daughter has absolutely blossomed at the center and we are blown away by what she has learned at such a young age. If you are looking for quality childcare that won't break the bank take a tour! These ladies have put together a really special place.

They were was nice and responsive when we were first signing up. We could not see the place due to Covid, which was not a huge deal. However, as soon as we signed up and they had my deposit, it seemed as though every question I had annoyed them. Once we started, it got worse. While they were always very responsive, I felt like I was talked to like a moron. I do have a traumatic brain injury and I don't remember things as well as others but the way they spoke to me was not acceptable. I became afraid of asking questions, something that no parent should ever be. Certainly not the kindness that Primrose preaches for its students. A few weeks in, I was ready to cut my losses and run. However, my daughter was doing OK and we decided to stick out the year. I do want to point out that safety and Covid protocol was AWESOME. The teachers were also great but the turnover was insane. While I understand some turnover my daughter had 5-6 different assistant teachers in her 9 months there. I could not even tell you how many teachers she had since we were not always kept up to date on who the teacher was/when teachers left etc. While we were always required to (and did) follow the rules it seems as though the center itself didn't need to follow their own rules and keep us up to date on changes to teachers. This year my daughter is constantly afraid when new teachers come in her new school's classroom, she seems to literally traumatized by the revolving door of teachers from last year. In the time we were there I received zero calls about my daughter having a behavior or sickness issue, we are not a problematic family. However, I never received her evaluations on time and I had to wait months and escalate before I got them. One evaluation they sent her home with some other kid's report and I sent it back and asked for ours, which I got 3 months later. To top it all off, you are not allowed to speak to teachers or other parents. You can't have their contact info (even with permission) and the app they use goes right to the main office and teachers aren't allowed to respond. It wasn't until they realized that we were going to leave as soon as the school year was over that they started being nice again. But honestly, I could not do another year at the school as a parent even though the Private K program was perfect for us. I know this school is still pretty new to the area and I think eventually the way parents (and my guess is teachers given the turnover) are treated is going to catch up with it. It's a shame because the education and program that Primrose has is awesome.

As a new mom, they have been patient and encouraging with me, supporting not only my baby's needs but my own as well. I get detailed reports and pictures throughout the day. I can't imagine having a better experience with a daycare.
