The barber, Seth Braden, rushed through my cut in about 15 minutes, which was already a red flag, and the result was the worst haircut I've ever had. The fade was uneven, the tape line was crooked, and he even used scissors--something no barber has needed for my hair before. He also mentioned he didn't have time for my beard, which was honestly a relief given the poor job on the cut. The shop was slow, so I didn`t have to wait too long. It must have been a bad timing on my part or a bad day for the owner, Billy, because when I asked for a recommendation for a new hairstyle he said that "Today is not the greatest time". So I showed him a picture that I found online of how I wanted my hair to look like, and it sounded like he is confident in what he is doing. From the other reviews I do not doubt his ability to cut hair, but maybe the Asian hair is a bit of a challenge. There must have been a miscommunication because he didn`t ask if I wanted the sides of my head tapped or buzzed all the way to the skin. The price is $18 for a haircut, and I never got the hot-towel treatment like the other user Paul said, nor have my side burns shaved to line up with the mid of my ear. The hair cut went from bad to the worst haircut of my life. I felt very rushed and towards the end of this horrible experience he wouldn`t give me any suggestions on how to fix it, but kept saying "It`s up to you." Very professional and skilled barbers. We try to frequent the businesses in our neighborhood. Many of my favorites are along Castle Street. Castle i like Wilmington's bonus downtown area.
