The…read morefirst call for his service was to remove old building, fencing and construction supplies left behind by the previous owner. He responded quickly, did an excellent job and charged a very fair price. The next work Ben did for us was to refresh the driveway. I think that was 3-4 loads of gravel delivered and spread. Over the next couple years we hired Ben and his crew to support several "dirt work", rock and gravel projects. They built an RV parking area large enough for 2 RVs, a play/picnic area, and lastly an an outdoor social area. These three projects included on the order of 7-8 loads of base gravel, as well as 3 loads of larger rocks, placed to retain gravel and add structure. Over the years Ben, Marley and crew have done several smaller brush, limbing and tree work projects. The latest work was to clean up about 1 1/2 acres of our land, (fuels reduction) It's black Oak, Madrone, and the Manzanita that was 10' tall and literally so thick you couldn't even crawl through it. This work was performed on a fairly moderate slope. Ben brought his masticator, excavator and bucket loader, along with his crew. They worked a solid 8-9 hours. I wish I had before pictures, they left it looking "like a park" for sure. And once again, I had shopped around a bit, and Ben's rates were the best, as expected. I trust Ben, and highly recommend him for any services he offers. As the cooler/wetter weather returns, I'll have Ben and his crew back out for another rock/landscaping project, and another acre or so of brush/tree work. With a little over 5 acres, it's endless...

When we had the house painted a few years ago the painter took them down, and we hadn't had woodpeckers around so I just stored the cables in the garage. But this sprng the buggers came back. At 79 years old there's now way I should be getting on the roof, or an extension ladder. Pat was able to come out and very quickly get them installed for a very reasonable price. Very nice hard working man who came to us before he was a window washer and did yard work. We were…read morevery pleased. Since then, he has washed our windows three times. The job was done well the first two times and cost was comparable to other window washers. Our problem was the third time. He told us he was very very busy and couldn't get it to us for a few months which was the case. He never bothered mentioning that he raised his rates substantially. He arrived at our home with a another fellow and they cleaned all the windows and did a very good job except for one window which still has the same streaks on it that I had last time he cleaned it. The upsetting part started when he asked If we wanted The roof blown off for a dollar a minute. My husband timed him he was on the roof just under a half hour. When my husband questioned the $60 charge he indicated that he had also blown off the deck which he was NOT asked to do for a dollar a minute. My husband can blow the whole front and back of our yard in 15 minutes so that was pretty ridiculous. So last time we paid $460, this time, for the same job, he, without warning, charged us not $5 a window, but $6.50 a window. The bill was $671, a 30% increase. My husband who is very non-confrontational paid him. I remain furious about this abusive practice. Then to add insult to injury, he bragged to my husband that he was making $1000.00 a day. I don't know about you, but I went to college for 12 years and while I made a good living, I rarely made A thousand dollars a day. Furthermore, I texted him to complain and he never had the courtesy to respond. Very, very unprofessional way to run a business. So if you want to pay over a hundred dollars an hour for a service that requires no formal education, Cody's your guy. I will no longer recommend him and certainly will never again use him.
