I would give 5 stars except the water fountains weren't working and the water that was out looked like it was super old/not clean. There is a wash off station for your dogs and multiple terrain options. Highly recommend if you're in need of a dog park!

There were so many doggy land mines throughout the dog park, I kept worrying that I had stepped in poop or that my dogs would while running around the park. Needless to say, we didn't stick around very long. Last thing I need is for my dogs to step on poop and tracking it into my car. Would make for a very unpleasant drive. Poop stations were readily available along the fence of the park and hanging trash bags, not sure why they didn't have actual trash bins available. I will say that it's nice that they offer a separate dog park for small pups and the plentiful benches are nice too but all the poop around the park is a big bummer but irresponsible pet owners are to blame for that.

I believe north park has the capabilities to be a great stop in Denham Springs for a majority of your outdoor adventures.

A lot of the furniture is original, and the restored house is beautiful. The grounds and walking trails are lovely. The trail is about a mile. They do have the kitchen, blacksmith shop, and slave quarters. There is a cow in back as well. I recommend this to everyone.
