I knew he was the one I wanted the moment I saw his website. It was honest, something he clearly made him self, and it was practical. He's a bit quirky but he knows his stuff. If you find yourself in the situation I was in, changing out an old bath for an old lady, he is your guy. Story time: When I bought a house for my mom, one of my biggest priorities was making sure it worked for her. She has mobility issues, so the bathroom wasn't just another remodel--it needed to be safe, functional, and something that would improve her quality of life every single day. I had a vision for a custom walk-in shower, found some examples online and drafted up some crappy images. Joel took that idea and turned it into reality. He listened, offered practical advice to keep costs down, and built something that honestly came out even better than I had imagined. What stood out most to me, though, was Joel himself. He showed up ready to work on little more than a handshake. He listen to my long list of desires and drew up the project practically over the phone. Throughout the entire project, he was straightforward, honest, and worked hard from start to finish. I never felt like I had to wonder if he was going to do the right thing. Oh by the way, I live in Texas. So this was all done by phone.
