My neck broke a couple months ago and I took it back to have it repaired because I have a repair plan, however when I got the necklace back you could tell where it had been repaired, and after wearing it for not even 24/7 hours it broke again in the same spot without me touching or making any sudden movement. I have bought two very nice rings at this location. This time I purchased one and then took it home and she wasn't the biggest fan of the ring so I took it back up there, no problem right.. WRONG!!! They informed me I was 2 days over "the policy"and wouldn't take it back under no circumstances without finding something equal or grater value. I even explained the issue with the one I got was too big and she wanted something much smaller. With that being said I was pretty much stuck with a 2400 ring and not once did the manager offer to lift a finger to tell the situation of a returning customer to see if someone could make a over ride. We even found a smaller version of that ring and asked if we could get the difference back with a restocking fee so we could have the ring she loves. All we got back was just "I am sorry and was informed that I could open a credit card for the difference" I would definitely not advise to do business with a company that has customer service this poor all it seems to matter is their bottom line they could honestly care less about past, present and future customers read more

I came here for Black Friday shopping an got some great deals on earrings for my wife. Even though the outlet mall was busy and packed, the employees here were helpful, friendly and attentive. They were able to answer any questions and assisted us with our needs. I did not have to wait and was taken care of. Since it is an outlet, they have very good deals in general. With many discounts, I would recommend to come check out and jewelry deals you can get. The store was professional and very clean. I like this store. It's clean, conveniently located, and the staff are genuinely happy to help you here. The staff have helped me select jewelry, I've completed online pickups, and had my jewelry cleaned at this location so I frequent it. I like the service more than the Downey location (although I have not conducted business at any others since I found this one). They have a pretty good selection of items and will match their online price so I don't bother driving anywhere else. I just don't love the parking on weekends so I try to come on weekdays and it's smooth sailing. The sales ladies that have helped me seem to enjoy watching the customers try on jewelry whether they're buying or not, it just looks like they're having fun playing with jewelry and the no-pressure feeling makes the shopping experience more relaxed and comfortable. Horrible customer service!!!!!! Walked into the store to look at the Vera Wang collection.. There were 2 employees helping customers. So my husband & I patiently waited .. And waited .. And waited .. We were hoping for "we'll be right with you" nope! Never got it! We decided to step out of the store & came back 10 minutes later.. & you would think by now they would've acknowledged our presence.. I was charged twice! On my end it said approved please remove card then they had a problem with their register it cutoff and said that it didn't go through I would need to scan again hesitantly I did. BIG mistake. They told me the first transaction would just fall off I waited a week it never fell off. Called the bank and they said it was a full blown charge and they would have to refund it. I take my bank statement and go back to Zales, and the manager whom was there during my transaction helping the poor employee when it failed who told me not to worry about it it didn't go through it would just fall off, completely ignored me and kept walking around trying to find something else to do! I had my bank statement thinking it would be simple just show them it was charged twice they'll refund me. NO! the poor girl called customer service and they told her to refund me she was repeating what they said on the phone when she hung up thats when the manager came over and said No we can't refund that. still without even looking at me, looking at the employee who at this point looked like she wanted to just leave she told the manager no they said we should refund it. The women said sorry but you'll have to call corporate and walked off. I was livid at this point. The employee just called corporates help center asking telling them what happened they said refund it! But she wouldn't do what they told her to do. And I said loudly where other customers could hear me You just basicslly charged me twice and want give me it back so your stealing from me! She walks off leaves the poor employee there apologizing to me because her hands were tied. Basically Zales help center on the phone said refund it but the manager in the store said no. Called the bank and they couldn't believe it and said they'll open investigation I'll need to file a police report. The bank said they'll fight on my behalf and get my money back. But I shoulnt have had to go through this legal route. The sad part is while the girl was on hold with the help desk she said I wasn't alone its happened to several people over the past couple months for some reason. They've all had to go through their banks file reports to get money back. This is robbery and should not be allowed! Very disappointed in this store. That women should be fired she brushed her mistake off on an employee to handle. She was rude acted like so what sorry but we can't give you that extra charge that we put through twice back. I was charged twice for something! So I will start off by saying I was very worried about what kind of review I would have to be writing here after reading a lot of bad reviews at a LOT of different Zales location but luckily, I actually had a good experience here. I went to take my engagement ring to get sized here March 11th where I was helped out by Jorge & Saul & they were very nice & helpful. They sized my finger & then told me that it was going to be a little difficult to size my ring down because of the diamonds on the side & how small of a size my finger is so they said my best bet would be for them to return my ring & then they'd place an order for the same ring but in my actual size. I wasn't too thrilled about that because of the fact it wasn't going to be the ring my fiancé had given me but I didn't argue & I said it was fine. So he looked for my ring but turns out they had sold out of it everywhere so he ended up calling their jeweler & they said they'd make it work which made me really happy to hear I wasn't going to have to return it! They told me my ring would be ready for pick up by March 27th & again, since I had read a lot of bad reviews everywhere, I decided to stop by here on my way to work on the 22nd just to see how my ring was doing even though you can check the status of it online because I didn't know how well I could trust that. I walk in & this lady who works there (didn't get her name) was on the phone with a customer but she still managed to tell me hello & ask me how I was doing & was very nice. Saul was there again & he let me know that my ring was actually getting shipped back to them already & that it might get here the next day or the following but that they'd call. They ended up calling my fiancé that same day about 6 hours later telling him my ring got there & I could pick it up but I was working. So I went today & my ring was actually there! Made me sooo happy! I examined my ring for a good 5 minutes & tried it on & there were two small but fixable things about it. One being that it was still a little bit loose on me but he told me it might be the weather change so I'm holding onto it for a week to see how it is & if not I can just take it back so they could size it down more (this is why the insurance here comes in handy) & two being that the engraving on the inside that says "Love Vera Wang" only says "Love Ver" now & he let me know that was because of how small my finger was but that they could fix that as well. Again nothing too big of a deal, at least not to me & everyone here that I've met have been very nice & very helpful! Thank you guys! read more

When me and my husband where looking for engagement rings, this place offered great deals on rings! We purchased a trio set and fell inlove. A few weeks ago, two of my diamonds fell off my ring. My ring is a cluster of three main big diamonds surrounded by little ones. Two little ones from both ends fell out. So I took my ring in for repair. They said it was going to take about 2 weeks to get fixed. When we went in to pick up the rings. I noticed something extremely different. All the little diamonds surrounding the main big ones where gone. It no longer looked like a cluster of diamonds. Rather only the three main big diamonds in the center. Also the ring did not match the color of my band what so ever, which it should of because it came in a set. I started looking at professional pictures with clear images of my original ring. I immediately knew this was not my ring. I went back inside to address this problem. The lady that was helping me was rude, she told me that this was my ring. I kept telling her the differences between my ring and this ring and she refused to acknowledge anything. She made me feel stupid and crazy. She made me doubt what I knew was correct. She told me the ring they gave me was my ring even after I showed her pictures of my original ring and there was obvious clear differences. When I told her that I had little diamonds around the big ones she told me that , that wasn't true those weren't diamonds it was an "illusion" . She made me feel dumb. I didn't understand how those " little diamonds" on my original ring were actually an illusion if I witnesses those little diamonds fall off which is why I brought my ring in to begin with. I asked her to trace back to the person who fixed my ring and tell me what they fixed. She didn't show me. Also the size of the ring was a 9 when my ring was a 6. Overall it wasn't my ring I knew it. She didn't do anything about the situation. She said she doesn't know why they changed the sized and was going to send it back to resize it back to its original size. 3-4 days later I go in to pick up the ring. Once again I get the gut feeling it's not my ring, so my husband goes back inside the store and explains to them this isn't my ring. Once again they try telling us other wise. Luckly, the district manger was there, he called the person who fixed my ring and that person told the district manager that there was a mixed up with two rings. Therefore they had to go pick up my real ring. I was very upset because I know they are jewelry experts but if I'm telling you this isn't my ring and telling you how it isn't by showing you the differences, don't tell me I'm wrong. Help me, trace back your steps. No it took two days for these people to actually do something about the situation and finally realize that they were in the wrong and I was right. It was never an illusion. My ring has little diamonds around it. I will never return back to this store. Personally I feel as if they did not address the situation as they should of because I'm young. But that should never be a factor to why you should ever make a customer feel stupid and like I don't know what I'm talking about. TERRIBLE SERVICE. After a total of 3 weeks and fighting back and forth 2 days, I finally got my ring back. read more

Zales may be okay but I definitely would not recommend this particular store! The purpose of this visit was to return an item which required 5 trips to the store! The first time was my fault because I went at 7:30 pm not knowing their regular hours are 11 to 7. Second time was during the Labor Day weekend and they had a handwritten sign on the door saying "Closed Sunday and Monday." I assumed this was because of the holiday so my next trip was on one of those days and they were closed again which is when I realized they're closed every Sunday and Monday. So my next attempt was on a Tuesday at 6:30 pm. They should be open right if their hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11 to 7?? Wrong. Again they are closed!!! However I can see employees inside so I went to my car and looked up their phone number and called repeatedly until someone answered. Finally they answered saying they had to close unexpectedly to do inventory. If a store is closed two days a week, why can't inventory be done on one of the days they're closed. Also, why couldn't it be done prior to 11 am (opening time) or after 7 pm (closing time)??? While I'm on the phone with the employee who's telling me about the unexpected inventory I ask when they will be open so I can return the item before the 30 days is up. She tells me they will be open the following day (Wednesday) 11 to 7. Wednesday arrives and I send my husband first thing. He arrives a few minutes after 11 and guess what!!! THEY ARE CLOSED!!! The excuse they gave him is they had to work on the computers. He waits outside and finally at 11:32 they unlock the door and he is able to return the item. I firmly believe a store should honor their advertised business hours. Oh I forgot to mention another trip my husband made in which he waited in the store for 30 minutes with no acknowledgement only to be told eventually they couldn't process the refund because he didn't have the card used to purchase the item. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Purchased a ring and needed to get it resized, Sarah our sales associate guaranteed delivery by 12/24. Went to store to pick up ring and they said it would not be ready till 12/31. Sales associate at that time was not helpful. Sarah initially told us we just made the cut off for 12/24 pick up. Tried calling the store to check status and speak to Sarah about this issue and their phone is off the hook...busy signal every time. Called corporate and they tried calling store...same issue. And of course they couldn't help either. Just want was suppose to be my Christmas present. Good riddance to this store. I just want my jewelry as promised. read more

You would have thought I was a high roller. The associate that helped me took her time, she listened to my needs, and found the perfect gift for my mom. She was authentic and just happy to help me. Horrible experience!!! Went in to buy a bridal set and my now husband, a wedding band. My husband's wedding band was promised for a date before the wedding and it wasn't ready on time. We got married and no wedding band for my husband. Finally the ring was ready a week after the wedding went to pick it up and it looked tarnished from inside. The girls tried to polish it with some f*****rag and of course it would not come off. They blamed it on their "experienced" jeweler. And now it was sent off again for "polishing." My point is don't f***** promise a date for something that it is not going to be ready. And when it's finally ready they f*** up with the ring looking tarnished. What kind of service and "experience" is this. I felt so bad that we had to get married and no ring for my husband. I planned my wedding around the date I was promised the ring. I'm still playing the waiting game. Let's see how long will it take them to get back the "polished" wedding band. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!! read more

I'd give no stars if I could, horrible service. I took my fiancée engagement ring for maintenance, original date for return they gave me was April 14. I was called my ring was ready for pick up on April 1st to which sounded great it's here early this is when it gets ugly. I go pick up the ring and they tell me that they don't have it. They had no idea what I was talking about no acknowledgement of a phone call. Whatever we leave a few hrs later I received a call that they were sorry but the ring was in the safe the whole time. This is where it gets uglier. Apparently someone got lazy on the job and went off last name only so now they were giving me someone else's rings I was like this isn't mine so they said they'll have it expedited for me to receive it within the next 48 hrs. It's now April 17 and my ring isn't ready. I wish I would've seen these reviews before walking in there. At this point my fiancee is fed up with them. I would never do business here again. read more

I specifically told my now husband not to buy my ring from any chain jewelry store, however, of course he didnt listen. He bought my ring from this "outlet" store and It has turned out to be a nightmare. To be fair, he bought me two rings from there. The first two he bought I told him to take back. I went to take back the second ring because he was annoyed and I met such a warm and friendly sales lady. So I thought. She showed me several rings and spent a couple of hours with me showing several rings. I never was totally sure of the actual price because there was a sale going on, and she kept throwing out numbers. I was stupid because I got caught up in all the beautiful shiny rings. She was so good that I ended up buying a ring from her that when I got in the car I didn't even like. That's a good sales woman! Turns out even though we took back the third ring, he signed up for a credit card to get 10% off and they're still charging him although we returned the ring. Turns out the charge is for the insurance on ring not the actual purchase. They really push hard for this during the sale. Anyway, to make a long story short, I did find a beautiful ring online and we are fighting the credit company, but probably will have to pay. That's $500 that could've been spent on saving for our house. All because of a trip to Zales outlet....don't go. Deals are out there. You just have to look! read more
