I love this Zara store but when they are low on staff it's so hard to find someone. When they give direction sometimes they aren't clear. Be advised they have three register areas to checkout however, depending on what is open or not, you will not be able to pay at certain registers with what you have. The one downstairs you can checkout at but pick up has to be upstairs straight ahead from the escalator. At the children's sections register, you can't pay for anything that's not from the children's section. It's like a game lol that nobody wants to play. I really do enjoy the store though and I'll be back soon but man what a ride I tell you. read more

I love going to Zara. I shop there a lot. The employees are always helpful. They always have a nice selection. The quality of the clothes are not the same no more. String are coming out the clothes. If I could give zero stars, I used to love this brand and the collection is still pretty decent but in recent years zara has dropp the bar on their customer service and now I think it's at its worst possible point. The store is messy with zero customer service. Every counter had like 1 checkout agent who practically gave a frap about time optimization. We bought new suit not from the sale and even after asking no garment bag was given. I come here often because they have a lot of cute clothes for women.. both for business professional and casual and date night. This is a trendy and fashion forward chain and everything here is mass produced. Although some of their items are ridiculously overpriced, you can still find some pieces that are within reason. I came in tonight to get a few things for some upcoming family and work trips. I ended up leaving the store with 4 super cute blouses and 2 dresses.. my total spent was $81. 62. Not too shabby as the whole store was on sale. They usually have their annual clearance sale to make room for the upcoming spring fashion line. I love the quality of Zara's products as they do last long and you can still rock their pieces for many years and you can still look like a fashionista!! However, their customer service is lacking. It seems that the employees there get annoyed very easily when trying on garments in the dressing room. I did try on a few things but thought that I could just leave them there in the dressing room.. the person who was in there before me, left some things behind. So I thought that I could do it too. Boy was I wrong!!!! As I was already exiting the dressing room, one of the employees chased me down (literally) and told me to put my stuff away. I asked okay where? And she just pointed to a clothes rack. I'm like which one? And she just pointed to her right without saying a word to me. But all the while she was talking to someone in Portuguese and laughing. I'm sure she was saying something bad about me in her native tongue. Did people forget to speak English all of a sudden? Or am I invisible ? I didn't catch the employees name...mind you.. none of them wear name tags. Well.. when I went to check out, the cashier was super nice to me.. but the cashier to her left was complaining how busy the store was and how she couldn't wait to go home... meanwhile forgetting that I can hear her complain while there was a long line of shoppers just waiting to check out. Just from my observation a lot of the employees are young. Maybe that's why the customer service is terrible? I'm not sure what the disconnection is here, but somethings got to change. If i could I would give this location a 0. Awful customer service. Not one person helps you, it's so disorganized. There are more then enough employees in this location to look after this store and to help. My mother was trying something on and wanted an opinion on something so I walked in with my baby and was asked "are you trying that on?" I was completely confused since the only thing I was carrying was a baby. I was even thinking to myself, "trying on what? My baby? Anyways, I said "No, I don't have anything to try on. I'm just waiting on my mother." The employee, instead of being polite/professional and saying "I apologize, but you can't be in here" she said "you can't be in here" in a rude tone. I've worked in retail, I know there can be really rough exhausting days in retail, but it will never excuse anyone to speak to any customer or person in a tone unless it is warranted, of course. I'm not asking for you to kiss my behind, just asking for common curtsy, I guess some aren't taught that. The register situation is to laugh at, it's insanity. I guess they don't want to deal with the extra registers at the end of the night, but the lines are insane. There will be three people working on a return as the line keeps building up. Mind you, the store is NOT all that busy. I'm currently standing here and there are more than enough employees to customer ratio. Just be prepared to stand in line so the five others and it will take you a half hour to be rung up. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was so excited to go to this Zara because I had never been in one before. But today I actually had a worker CUSS AT ME in the fitting room in front of other customers for putting clothes on an empty rack because the other was full. Instead of saying something, I simply walked out without buying anything. This is only my second time going to this Zara and I won't be going back. They will have clothing in the store with clearance or discount tags and and once you go the cashier and pay the store manager will tell you they can't sell you the items because it has been blocked from headquarters in Spain. I came here to simply return some items that I purchased online. I came early so there wasn't a wait in line but it took so so so very long. The cashier had no concern for my time as she casually took each item out, tagged it, hung it, then would come back to register for the next. Unfortunately the worst part was she was chatting with the other person at the register as if I wasn't even there. I couldn't understand what was being said since they were speaking another language but it was obvious the customer is not important. A return took over 20 minutes for 6 items. I bought a blazer I thought I could exchange when I came to the store the Puerto Rican cashier scrutinize my exchange saying the garment was wrinkle looking and he cannot let me exchange it I told him when I bought through the store sale the item was already like it then he scan it and told me he couldn't find it in the system... One of my favorite stores and it's always well kept and clean. The employees can be snobby, but that's a given for pretty much all clothing stores. They have very cute clothing and lots of fitting rooms, and let you try on 10 items at a time which is nice. The store is set up in a way that doesn't make you feel overwhelmed. There's lot of walking space, so you won't find yourself squeezing by people to walk around. The men's section is also great and has a good selection. I like that it's well lit and outside of the actual mall, it's right next to H&M and directly in front of Forever 21. read more

4 Stars for a store I love that's been expanded into what I consider to be my Disney World. I loved Zara in it's old spot at The Florida Mall but I couldn't be happier with the new storefront. It is still on the outer edged of the mall- which is great because I always avoid going into FL Mall (see my other review...). The valet station is right next to the Zara as well, which makes popping in a breeze. I'm not normally one for valet but the FL Mall parking is nausea-inducing. So, to begin, this is now a 2-story Zara. Let that sink in. The amount of gorgeous, fashionable clothes at a decent price is staggering. Their design to market process is incredibly nimble so you will find the latest looks across Europe. And the men's side is HUGE. Note: The sizes are pretty small- which suites me fine because I'm a miniature human being. One thing I wish they had was large shopping bags to carry your garments. The hangers are lovely-looking, but when you have ten garments hanging over your arms they add a ton of weight. Otherwise, I've always had great experiences with the staff. Sometimes it seems a bit short-staffed, but it's never been a huge issue. Overall- one of my favorite spots to shop located just outside a crazy mall. read more

This is exactly the kind of brick and mortar store that pushes anyone to simply buy online. I can't come up with a store filled with worse employees. I truly wonder if this is just the way Zara trains their staff. Always rude. The fascinating part is that compared to every business currently short staffed, this place clearly throws payroll out the window. Who hasn't heard the fitting room staff yell at every person going into one of their cheap, hot, stuffy rooms, "please return everything on hangers?" Out of common sense and decency, I will always do that. However, if you have no where to put back folded items - do not look at me blankly when I ask you where to put it. 4 people working in that fitting room and not one said "I'll take those from you." I had to place the folded denim on the floor next to one of their racks. I asked the attendant, "you really couldn't have taken this from me?"and he didn't even look at me when he flat out said "no."Not one person in that store greets a customer, or ever offers to help. Worse, they all unanimously act as if any words in their direction is just appalling. Yet we listen to all the personal conversations happening at the cash register, the fittings rooms, and the floor. I'd really like to know what the culture at Zara is when training. I am a great fan of Zara and shop a lot in-store and online. Zara at Florida mall has the worst customer service that it has greatly affected how i feel about the brand. I lost my phone in the store and I asked for help from the staff and the supervisor. I just needed to text my husband who was in the mall to come meet me at the store otherwise I wouldn't have a ride home. Both staff and supervisor curtly said there is nothing they can help me with. The supervisor didn't even look at me in the eye. I asked for her help twice and she just walked past me mumbling , "Sorry, there's nothing I can do." They have really cute, reasonable priced clothing! I stopped by the store because my cousin was in the store shopping and all for of us ended up getting something. It was great!!! I'm going to try and avoid this place because it's so reasonable and they have such great pieces that there is no way I would ever walk out of here empty handed. I bought a swimming short from this store. I put it in the washing machine. All the colors faded away. I came back to the store to return it. They refused to return it. I called Zara and make a claim and they refused to return it. This is unacceptable. They are selling defective items and they are not accepting the returns. This is horrible. To give this place a star is only because I have to give it a star to post something. Love the clothing styles in this place but the service is always ALWAYS HORRIBLE. This one time you wish you could do self check out just to avoid dealing with the bunch of lazy-no care attitude each of the associates give you. The associates in other Zara branches - in other states that I have visited, LA, NYC, DC, CT etc all are pleasant except for this store. How is it that they constantly employ and keep employing the same people that absolutely seem they loathe their job. You don't get a greeting, you don't get a thank you, you do not even get a smile. They simply want to rush you out and move you out of their way. Clothing wise which the associates have NOTHING to do with, always a 10 but customer service wise, this store gets 0 if you even have to give it a score. They cannot explain their return/ exchange policy well and rely on what the receipt and their sign supposedly states which was entirely vague and had nothing stating close to what the sales associate even mentioned. We all understand rules - establishments and companies make them and employees and customers follow but please make sure what you're trying to explain is actually what is written to back yourself up. Their associates in this particular store simply do not care and seriously, give the jobs to someone more deserving who knows how to represent the company well. I have seen the same associate be rude to customers after customers- hand gesturing for others to approach when she is not even finished with her current customer. I have seen a store manager just stare when a pregnant customer is trying to make her way and the manager gave her a stare as if she was being bothered by her job of fixing the scarves and jewelry pieces which were so brilliantly placed along the pathways of the cash wrap making it difficult to pass. We had to contact corporate and find out the regional/district manager because the staff in this place are just plain horrid. I would replace them with machines and self check out stands rather than deal with people who think you owe them your life. They simply can do better. Let's start with the Secret Service at the front with the earpieces. Honey, please. Your clientele are largely out-of-town/state/country folks who are passing time before/after they head to Disney. Next, $29.90 for a white shirt - with holes in it. A) this is not Europe so please stop with the whole "we'll avoid charging the extra 9 CENTS just to be unique." H&M is right next door - the game is up. Your fitting rooms? Very tiny. Maybe take 1/4 of your floor space and redesign. Considering how much of your product is just thrown about anyway, it could not hurt. Finally, your staff...look into either better recruiting or training. Look, it's a mall job at a clothing store. I've done it and it is NOT for the faint of heart or thin-skinned. You have to explain to people who weigh over 200 pounds why a Size 2 is simply NOT an option. Company has great clothes but their exchange policy is RIDICULOUS. With the new technology there is now a days they require that you MUST have a receipt to return or exchange one of their products. I spent an hour on the phone with customer service having them repeat the same script over and over. I will NO LONGER go back to Zara's as their customer service sucks. They refused to assist me, making me feel as if I were a thief. Just because I wasnt able to produce a receipt doesn't mean I didnt buy it. If I could @boycott them I will. Worst customer service ever! employees are beyond rude. The manager was an asshole and was no help at all. I went in to exchange a belt that I bought that broke before I could even wear . The employees did not let me exchange it, even though I had the original paper receipt with me. All I wanted to do was exchange the damaged belt for a new one. They denied my exchange due to the inside tag of the belt missing. I have NEVER heard of this before. Mind you that NO WHERE on the store policy does it say that exchanges must be made with inside tags attached. The store manager was so rude that he ended up walking away instead of trying to resolve the issue. He was not understanding at all. I will never be returning to this store due to the inconvenience that I dealt with with the employees. May I add that before going to the cash register, I asked for assistance to one of their sales employee and was advised that they can issue an exchange instead of a refund for the item. I loooove Zara and I shop online and in store all the time! However, the customer service is so terrible that I try to shop in person as little as possible. I live about an hour away, but will make the trip if I want something sooner than I can get it shipped. I bought a few different items in store about a month ago, but when I got home, I was missing a pair of pants that I purchased and that were on the receipt. Once I realized this, I called the store to let them know, and they confirmed that the person who rung me up forgot to put the pants in the bag. I let them know that I live an hour away and was not sure when I would be able to come pick them up, and they just told me to come grab them when I could. I was not offered any kind of discount, coupon, or anything for the inconvenience I was caused due to their mistake. This was really annoying, on top of most of the workers here just being plain rude and acting as if the customer is an inconvenience. I reside in MI. We don't have a Zara so this is a must for me whenever I come to FL. I wish it was still at Millenia. It doesn't seem to fit here at FL Mall but I understand why they moved given the huge, walk up location near the malls entrance. What's nice is you can enter/exit directly at Zara. I've never been inside the mall other than to go to Carlo's Bakery. The selection seldomly lets me down. The staff isn't really helpful & almost unapproachable. I'm okay with that since they're trying to up-sell me on items I don't need/want. There was a sale going on & while the remainder of the store was clean & well organized, that area was a disaster. Love Zara clothes for all men, women, and children, but this particular location on severely visits have the worse Customer Service, and I am unsure how a retail store like this can function. Where is the management, or maybe that is where the problem stems from? I love Zara! Depending on the day, you'll get good or no customer service, I will be honest. As a local shopping here for years I've come to except that some days I'll find friendly employees or some days I'll find none at all. I love their fast fashion approach! It makes everything so exclusive. They have shipments every Monday and Thursday so I always shop then so I can pick out the newest items. I also have two kids to shop for. So their kids department is everything. Princess upstairs is always ready to lend a helping hand! She's one of the only employees I know by name other than the store manager Wendy. Kids is a little on the pricey side especially when you have H&M next door but their pieces are unique and your kids will be the only one wearing them. I've read the other reviews on this page, but they obviously don't shop here often or ever worked in retail!!! When have you gone to any store first thing in the morning and found cashiers everywhere? No where! Compared to the Disney Springs store I'd rather shop here (especially because it's more organized and cleaner)! read more

I took a shirt I received as a gift in to exchange for the same exact shirt of a larger size and they simply would not do it! They said the shirt I had was from last year, when they had the same exact shirt hanging on the rack! They refused to help me after I drove 2.5 hours since I do not have a Zara in my City. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! LAZINESS AND LIES!!! On Tuesday, Dec 24th at 11 am, I arrived at the store location to inquire about my online order which was due on 12/24. The first associate I encountered told me that my order has not arrived and that all shipments had been delivered for the day. They also advised me to call Zara customer care to find out what solutions could be made. At that point, I leave the mall to make last minute purchases around the city to allow time for a solution. At 2 pm, I still had not heard anything. I call the store and speak to the supervisor Santiago. He empathizes about the situation and claims that another customer called earlier with the same situation that I had. He double-checks the online order area and said he did not see that order. I asked to speak to the store manager. He said that Wendy wasn't working and that she would return on 12/26. I asked to speak to the person in charge of the store (assistant manager). He said: "he will say the same thing I said but if you insist I will put you on hold". I waited for 20 minutes no one came to the phone. I call on my other phone and asked to speak to the manager Luis picks up right away. I am fuming at this point. I explained to Luis that I am visiting Orlando and that if this order didn't arrive today I wouldn't be available to come back on 12/26 to pick it up, hoping for some type of solution. He put me on a brief hold and said: "it appears that your order was delivered to your address in NYC". I ordered it to be sent to the store and had documentation stating that it would be in store. I double-check my email just in case and see a confirmation email stating that it is ready for pickup at the Florida Mall. The email was delivered while I was on the phone with Luis. I explained that I have an email stating that it's delivery to the store. He insisted that it wasn't there. I call customer care and get told that the package arrived in Orlando and was scanned in around 3 pm today. I arrived at the store and my package was there. It's a miracle, not in NY, with no deliveries for the rest of the day and without one apology. Now obviously, there is a lack of communication in this store and poor execution of inventory practices because the package had to be in-store or someone was blatantly lying to me. I want to share my experience with the manager after picking up the package to ensure that this didn't happen to anyone else. I speak to Luis again to explain the situation, ask him what happened and why did he lie about my order being in NY. I asked to speak to the store manager again. He told me she would not return until 12/26. I asked Luis to write down the names of all managers that I had dealt with and the store manager's name. A woman comes from the back and introduces herself as Wendy, store manager. Wendy tells me she has been there all day and that she was unaware of the situation and apologized after I told her her staff was unapologetic. She told me that she would contact HR about the store employees who lied about her whereabouts and my order. Wendy was unaware and somewhat unconcerned about this issues. I will be taking my business elsewhere because of this experience and the lack of professionalism with the staff of this organization. read more
