My primary PT, Nnamdi, has been great to work with, responsive to my changing needs and a funny and motivating guy in general. The chiropractor, Dr Bazley, has also played a role in my recovery as needed. The front office staff is super friendly and easy to work with regarding scheduling and any health insurance concerns. The office seems to have recently opened so everything is up to date and modern including their scheduling and billing system which helpfully sends a reminder text the day before my appt and also emails me the receipt for my co-pay. There's plenty of parking in the area and it is a very convenient location for me, a NE DC resident. Im almost done with my PT and will miss their motivation but they've helped me build both the muscle and confidence I need to maintain a healthy post surgery back.

I was having severe lower back pain and found him on my insurance's website. After one visit my lower back pain was non existent, I was sleeping better, and other problems that I did not even associate with my back (I was also having knee and shoulder pain) were much better. He didn't try to make me purchase any medications and majority of what he does is done without you having to lay face down. I've been going for about three weeks now and the back pain has yet to return and I am still enjoying great nights of sleep. Although not back pain related, at one appointment, he noticed that I had a cold and alleviated my sinus pressure with a technique that actually cleared my nose! After seeing the difference in me, my boyfriend is about to start seeing Dr. Mirza as well. I only have a couple of sessions left, but I would like to go at least once every month to make sure I continue feeling as good as I do now.

I've visited the office twice and both times Dr. Marmon failed to mention that my son will need clearances from anesthesia and neurosurgery, but he wrote it in his note. I asked him about it and he said it's fine and that he'll contact those specialties directly and discuss my son's case. I had nothing to worry about, so I thought. So my son was scheduled for surgery today; however, it was cancelled last minute. The only way I found out about the cancellation was after several phone calls. Smh. Two days ago I called and the office staff told me everything was good to go and someone will call me the day before surgery to inform of a time. That call never happened.

From our initial visit to our follow-up, Dr. Marmon was a consummate professional and addressed all of our concerns. The circumcision itself went very well and the post-op instructions were clear and thorough. We were worried going in because we knew a couple families who needed revisions for their sons, but we felt very comfortable with Dr. Marmon. As someone in healthcare myself, I recommend Dr. Marmon both for his clinical skill as well as his bedside manner. He is succinct but thorough and overall speaks of strong competence. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a doctor for a circumcision and I suspect that his strengths transfer to other areas/procedures as well.
