This location wasn't very friendly, which was a bummer since we have been visiting in the south for the last week and have experienced such nice people all over! The food was just ok! We have tried other chicken joints in the south that have been much better. The flavors were lacking and the sauces were not very good. The hottest sauce - which you have to pay extra for any sauce above the ONE that comes with your meal, even when you order a bunch of tenders - wasn't even hot! It tasted like Valentina's hot sauce. Help me understand the purpose of ordering online?isn't it to be faster and help the staff know what orders are coming in? We placed an order 5 minutes before we got to the Zaxby's, we drove there went to the drive through and was told "it's not ready". Speaker goes silent......after I guess he realizes we are still sitting there says "it's not ready, can you go to the curbside pick up?" During our wait not 1 car came through the drive through so why could we have not waited at the window. We contemplated counseling our order and just ordering through the drive-through. Doesn't this defeat the entire purpose if I'm having to wait extended periods of time to get the same food? They weren't surprised of the order. There must have been special chicken for mobile orders that we were unaware of. I had to end up going inside after waiting 10 minutes in the curbside pickup. After finally being acknowledged by someone I behind the counter they asked my name and said I had a mobile order and it was sitting over by the window the whole time instead of bringing it out. Good business plans (mobile ordering) is only good if you have capable staff to operate them. Very dissatisfied with my experience at this Zaxbys and we be sure to avoid in the future. read more

Floors were so sticky, workers were standing around not doing anything, took over 45 minutes to get our food. Bathrooms were clean though!

Stopped in to grab some lunch for my wife and me and was shocked when the store manager blocked me from filling up my water bottle with water after buying lunch. She demanded I purchase a cup so I fill it with "Free" water. My local Zaxby's has always been happy to let me fill my water bottle, so found this exchange both bizarre and frustrating. When we got back in the car and on the road we started to eat our Zaxby's Chicken Fingers and they were cried out and cold. Not a great experience. Went through drive thru on 3/19/25 and ordered the loaded fries they pulled me up i sat and waited noone came out so i oulled back through drive thru well i got my food but they claimed they were out of cheese i dont see how when they had a truck delivery that morning. But moving on my fries were hard i had to put the ranch on them myself and no bacon was on them im very disappointed as I eat at this location pretty frequently needless to say it will be a good while before I go back rest assured I will contact management if i spend 20.00 on food i expect to get exactly what is advertised read more

Zaxbys - Fast Food Near Me - Evergreen, Alabama

Stopped Saturday April 20th and no one would wait on me! There were at least 6 employees standing there looking at me and no one else was in the restaurant or drive thru and still they would not wait on me! After standing there long enough to realize I was not getting served I went to the Wendys next door which gladly served me. Obviously I will never stop at this Zaxbys again. I had stopped at the McDonalds next door on Saturday April 13th and they were very pleasant and glad to serve me also. read more

Oh my!! What a frog show it just was!!! Can only come in one door, out another... got that, covid & all. But as you come it's right by the drink station with the slowest server doing everyone's drinks, soooo the line there was NUTS ( and no social spacing). So I found the food line... NO ROPES or controls in any fashion. The drive up lines were LOADED (12+ cars), inside lines had at least 8 with only ONE cashier! The people in front of me asked for appetizers & were informed that they could not make ANY!!! I called over to another employee nearby, sure enough no Appetizers. (Only what I wanted!) So people take the sign about the fried pickles off the counter!!! And how about a SIGN saying you aren't making them today!!! read more

Holy smokes! Even for interstate-adjacent fast food, this is ROUGH. Both ice machines were out of ice; the soda machine was off (I tried three different options before going with the tea); and I'm still waiting on an order I put in 16 minutes ago. Many folks have told me I might as well get comfortable because it took them between 30-40 minutes to get their food. Place appears well-staffed. I have ZERO idea what's happening in the kitchen to cause these delays or why they haven't addressed the ice shortage/bad soda machine. The ladies at the cash register were friendly, but the people coming to work on the soda machines were not. And there is clearly a management issue here. read more

The Zaxby's in Evergreen, AL has been the best of the chain restaurant's establishments for as long as it's AL customers can remember. It always has, undisputed. However, in my most two recent visits (2 weeks ago and today) the food has been mediocre: the chicken was dry and the French fries were not even seasoned. One aspect of this fried chicken chain that stands out among the rest is that they have delicious French fries because they are seasoned well. I was abruptly taken back at the sight of my to-go plate not having any, and I mean any, seasoning on its French fries! What the heck guys, do better. The girl working, "Kimberly" with the two different hair colors was extremely rude and not friendly at all. We asked if we could add two sprites to our orders, as we are traveling with two toddlers and just totally forgot and she blankly said "no". It takes two seconds to ring up two drinks. Thanks to manager Rebecca and cashier James for the courteous service. This was one of the best Zaxby's we've eaten at. The dining area was packed due to nearby fast food dine-ins closed at 7PM. The manager was good at keeping her workers organized and we got our food quickly despite the rush. Pleasant staff. Once the cashier got a break, the dining room was wiped down and swept and trash taken out. Nice job! Good to see work ethic here. Also some of the locals said the manager here keeps the doors open when other places don't. read more

Headed back from the beach, stopped at Zaxby's for a late lunch. I went through drive thru and ordered just fine. I paid for my order and was given our 3 drinks. I was then told to pull around to the other side of the restaurant and wait for our order. I thought this was odd because we would be out of site of the delivery window. I drove around and parked in front of the restaurant where he said to. After 5 minutes, a different guy (no mask being worn) came out with what I thought was my meal (2 Zak snacks and 2 extra teriyaki sauce). He said, "You are waiting on a salad?" I responded no and he looked extremely confused and went back inside. After 5 more minutes, I walked back to the other side of the restaurant (they had one entry used as an exit only). Half of the workers standing behind the counter didn't have a mask on which worried me. I said I had waited at least 10 minutes already for my order. The same confused guy from early asked, "you had the wings?" NO!!!! I had a simple meal- 2 Zak snacks with 2 extra teriyaki sauce! Why is that so difficult?! After another minute, they bagged up my meals- yes, they had not even put it together!! Absolutely ridiculous and a severe break in communication among your employees. There were plenty of workers behind the counter and it wasn't extremely busy so that shouldn't have been the issue. Many cars had come and gone through the drive thru while I waited. Will not be back to this location. Only reason it didn't get a 1/5 was the fries were very hot. read more

HORRIBLE!!!! I love Zaxbys but this location was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with fast food. Worse than MCDONALD'S and BURGER KING and that is really saying something. I hold Zaxbys to a higher standard than most other fast food chains and expect the food to be worth the price (which is certainly not cheap). For 2 chicken finger plates, a 10 piece wing and an order of fried pickles it cost me $43 and some change. That is fine as long as the quality of the food matches up. Not the case here. Chicken was cold and soggy fries and wings were the same way I ordered food at 7:45 and the way it tasted it had to be sitting out since Lunch time. Absolutely unacceptable! The fried pickles were good and that is about the only good thing I have to say! read more

We usually have no problem with this Zaxby's, but today someone at the drive thru had an attitude. We had 4 meals (2 with Dr Pepper 1 with lemonade and 1 with a lemon lime drink). The person taking orders at the window caught an attitude when she kept getting our order wrong. After she got our order right they gave us the wrong drinks. She tried to tell us what we ordered but she knows what we had. Then after they gave us the correct drinks they gave us our food. After we drove away we decided to check our food. One of the orders was missing a sauce and they charged us for a sauce they didn't give us. We went inside to get our sauces and she was very nice. The person inside was nice the woman at the drive thru just made Zaxby's loose a customer! read more

I love Zaxby's but this one was not my favorite. The service was not great, because we walked in and saw the cook talking to his friends who were standing in the waiting area and didn't order anything. My mom and I were afraid that it was going to affect the quality of the food, and it definitely did. She got a sandwich and she bit into it and something tasted moldy. I love Zaxby's, and I recommend their food because it's amazing, but I don't recommend this one. :( read more

Well it's time I give my review of this amazing place the food is really good and the customer service is outstanding :) The place is clean. Out of the multi times I've been here. I have not been disappointed once And if you have a party or big family. Try ordering off of the party platterz I recommend the number 2 with a cake milk shake :D Come on down to Zaxbys. We have stopped here several times as we travel back and forth from Birmingham to Fairhope but I gave you 3 stars because y'all have always been good but this time outweighed the previous visits. It took us 18 minutes to get our food only to get in the car only to realize we didn't get our ranch that we paid extra for then to top it off there was way too much salt in the breading of the chicken that we couldn't finish our meals. (This was 3 different meals) I might revisit this Zaxbys but I will definitely second guess myself after this visit. read more
