The service in this location is the poorest I've experienced. The food is always cold & seldom does the app get your order correct. One bd apple can really make a chain look bad. Also, if you want to call and complain to management, save your time. No one will answer the phone. Guess they know they will get bogged down with calls from dissatisfied customers. As a big time bible thumpin' CFA lover, it always hurts the one day of the week where if you want some fast food chicken while on the road you need to make other plans. Enter this Zaxby's in the middle of nowhere GA. We don't have Zaxby's where I'm from in PA and my one prior experience with the chain in NC was pretty good. This one, not so much. * Cheddar Bites - pretty bland and they came with no sauce * Chicken Finger Plate - chicken was good but the fries were borderline cold * Boneless Wing Meal - again, good chicken with nearly cold fries Two more things worth mentioning. One is that they completely short changed us on any and all sauces. The obvious answer is don't ask at the order point if no one is quality checking that they're actually going in the bag. Two is the whole Texas Toast in the plastic domed container thing. Unless you take the top off right away and/or eat it right away it basically turns into soggy mush. No good. The one good thing is that this place is right off of I-20 so it couldn't be any easier to get here. So basically I went here and first of all, the employees were rude. The lady that served us had an attitude. Their ice cream machine was broken, which really wasn't that big a deal. 2 zaxs snacks neither of them came with toast, they forgot our drinks, and to top it off they kept us waiting for 20 minutes for not even a half decent meal, there was also a bug in the fries. The salads we got were ok. But if the prep area is as nasty as the dining area, we are in trouble! The self serve drink machine was splattered with some red liquid and partially dried on. The tables and seats were nearly all full of crumbs and greasy finger prints. The restroom doors looked like they have not been wiped clean in several days. There is no excuse for a restaurant to be in this state. Somebody needs to be in cleaning duty inside and out. read more

We went for the last time months ago. Prices are getting way to high and the chicken strips are very small. So disgusting! The restaurant was supposed to close at 10pm and we came in around 9:30. It's now 10:15 and we are still waiting on our chicken finger order. My husband and I were traveling from Louisiana and stopped off for a bite to eat. We came inside because we had to potty. Every surface of this restaurant is covered in garbage. Straw wrappers all over the counters, tea splatters and sticky sugar residue, no tea left at all, bathrooms smelt awful and trash was left all over the ground. The staff is too busy cutting up with each other to work. A customer ran behind the counter and into the kitchen for some reason. I love Zaxby's. We stopped here because I've had great experiences at other store locations. This location was in disrepair. I didn't want to be too obvious taking pictures of the awful state of things so I'm sorry the pictures are odd. I will definitely not be coming back here and neither should you. As I'm about to finish this review, the employees are running around the store hitting each other with menus! Order finally received at 10:20. read more

I came in around 8pm for a tea to have on my road trip. When I ordered, the cashier said "I think we have unsweet" and proceeded to ring me up. When I went to fill my cup... No tea of any kind... So I went back up to her and told her. She sort of looked confused and I asked for my money back. Then she looked even more confused, so I am guessing she's never had to refund a customer or was never taught... Then I see a huge vat of tea behind her and I say "is that unsweet tea?"... she looked back surprised and relieved and checked. Luckily for both of us it was, and I got my tea. I know it's Thanksgiving rush, but maybe this location needs to provide a little more support or training to its employees. read more

I ordered the chicken fingers and two pieces of toast instead of slaw. Super full off that meal, couldn't finish. Professional clean friendly staff & tables. Normally I love Zaxby's but this location needs to really find some decent people and give them some customer service lessons because what's there now is SERIOUSLY LACKING. The lady taking our order did not greet me or anyone with me, she was rude and had a look on her face that clearly showed that she didn't want to be there. Usually like Zaxby's but have currently been waiting for 20 minutes and still do not have our food. This is supposed to be fast food. There are groups in front of us that also do not have their food, about 30 people. There are many other options on this exit off the Interstate and I recommend that you choose any of the other ones! They have even stopped taking orders since they cannot fill the ones they have. The place is dirty and no one is wiping down the tables. Go somewhere else! read more

The salad is the only safe meal to order. It was pretty good. Only Don't order the toast. The bread was salty, it tasted like they salted the butter. The wings were under cooked and very salty. We sent them back. The fries were over salted too, and were cooked in old burnt oil, yuk! The meal was defiantly over priced for the quality. There new Coke machine was not working properly too.
