I ordered pork nachos and French dip Nacho chips were stale Cheese are raw and cold Pork meat was cold. Not appealing French dip is angus beef sandwich comes with a side Cashier changed extra for side, (can you believe that?) Angus beef was half cooked, no flavor, dip did not smell fresh (at least 2 days old) I know bc I managed restaurant before. Cost me $30+ for this order. I've had McAlister's when they were at the Augusta mall and they are still very good. The employees are super nice and helpful for ordering. They offer free refills and bus your table when you're done. The inside is new and very clean and nice. The chairs and booths are comfortable for sitting. Love the sandwiches from here. One of the very few places I have the app for so I can place an order and then go pick it up.

Used the app to place an order. We opted for the McAlister Club for one of them. Apparently changing the bread choice from wheat to white grants them permission the alter your sandwich to a puny one. Only two pieces of bread instead of the double decker they advertise. The manager replied saying "When the bread on our Club is changed it does only come on 2 pieces of bread. Unfortunately our app is not able to do substitutions" The other issue was requesting turkey only instead of ham. Mgr reply to this "Unfortunately our app is not able to do substitutions on meats so it only shows up on our screens as a removed item. We absolutely have a way to do that in the stores though. I know that is frustrating and I have made requests to corporate to fix that issue several times including at a larger meeting of our franchise last month. I know they have been working on app updates and I am hopeful this will be one of the functions they can add for us." Appreciate she said she knows this was wrong, but very disappointed she may no offer to resolve. No refund, no coupon for next time, no offer of a free drink or dessert, just yeah our apps sucks. First time at this particular location and the friendly service at the register to receiving our food was on par. We went right around 12:30pm/1:00pm for lunch, it was busy but not outrageously packed. I love getting the choose 2 because a) you get to try 2 different menu items and b) you still get a great portion size on both items. You truly cannot go wrong with this! Tables were very clean, Seats were very clean. Even the area where you trash your items and stack your plates was clean! They even have a hand sanitizer dispenser right next to the disposal. I got an early start running errands on a Saturday and found myself peckish at lunchtime. There are lots of eateries along Robert C. Daniels, but McAlister's Deli caught my eye as I was motoring along Walton Way Extension, so I stopped in. The restaurant is brightly lit and inviting inside. At noon there was already a good-sized crowd seated. I moved quickly through the line and took a seat with my number; my food arrived at the table shortly after that. I ordered the Horseradish Roast Beef and Cheddar, a potato salad side, and a Lemonade tea. I enjoyed my lunch and can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu. read more

A pretty pathetic turkey sandwich. One slice of thin turkey on a "Craft Sandwich." $7.99. Kind of explains why the restaurant was empty at 7:30p. Service was OK. Not particularly glad to see a customer though. McAlister's is a great chain. This particular one needs some work. read more

Visited the McAlister's Deli on Walton Way in Augusta today. The place was clean and the employee's were pleasant and helpful. We ordered the Sweet and Smokey chicken sandwich to try something new. We have visited other McAlister's and have always enjoyed them. However, this sandwich was a true disappointment for us. The bread was super dry/stale and there was more bread than chicken. The chicken flavor was pretty good but very little of it. Don't know if this was an odd occurrence but won't order that again. read more

Bad customer service and bad workers that can't fulfill an easy order. I ordered a French dip sandwich, and the entire purpose of ordering this sandwich is for the DIP!!! What I got was a sandwich delivered with no dip! Just a plain roast beef sandwich I could have made at home. I just don't understand how hard it is to tell that a French dip sandwich is supposed to cup with a cup of sauce to dip it into and not to send it to delivery driver until it has all items. Just workers need retraining or are just lazy to make the sauce hot and put it with the item. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, they lost a customer due to their inept workers not caring about their work. I feel they did this on purpose knowing people don't usually go back for items missing in online orders. They wanted me to drive all the way back there and pick up the sauce. I wish I didn't need to say this but this visit was such a disappointment. We ordered a Ruben, club and, french dip sandwich. First the combo (choose two) is misleading. I thought the total price was 10.99. But when you add the second item (like cup of soup) they added 1.59 to the $10.99. Part my fault for not reading the menu board better. But other restaurants like Panera have a pick two and the price is all inclusive. So my "pea brain" just didn't consider the additional price. All that being said I could have overlooked my lack of understanding their menu board if the food had been good. All the sandwiches looked and tasted like prepared yesterday. The roast beef and pastrami were actually crunchy around the edges. Even the dill pickle strip was dried out. It definitely had not just been taken out of pickle juice. I had not tried McAlister's in quite awhile but remembered very good food. I feel the problem was this location and their food prep. Might try again but definitely not this location. read more

I've been here twice and both times the food was good and consistent with other McAlister's locations. Both times the employees were friendly and got my order correct. The first time the store was having some IT issues with the computer systems and seemed a bit disorganized overall but all the issues seemed to be worked out by second visit and everything went smoothly the second. The prices are reasonable especially for the portion sizes. You should give this McAlister's a try. read more

I love their sandwiches! Fresh, healthy and tasty! During the peak pandemic time, McAllister's Deli would donate boxes of lunch to the Kennesaw hospital staff. So thank you for that gesture! Now that the pandemic is almost over, but we still order food from there. I like eating the chicken salad with cranberries on toasted croissant. Every time that I have ordered food for my staff members, the Deli throws in free gallon of sweet tea or homemade style lemonade. We love it! So glad we have this deli situated across the hospital, it is like a cafeteria to us! One time I got out of my workplace late, about 8:15 pm, they were closing, I popped in quickly asking them if they were closing, the lady at the cashier, " whacha need hon?", I took the name of my favorite sandwich and the chef made it within minutes. I only thought these type of stories existed in commercials and ads. But this store is what those commercials are made of. This store is impeccable and comforting upon arrival. I watched a gentleman I later found out to be the manager, Tracey. That man did not sit still for one second! He was cleaning glass ,wiping down tables ,and taking orders, meanwhile making sure every customer was happy and greeted. His staff behind the counter were efficient and friendly even giving suggestions for lunch items. To watch a manager run around a store like that, getting his hands dirty and being customer service oriented. It gives me faith that this still does exist. I have to admit that I paid close to $10 more for my meal experience today than I did the other day at Jersey Mike's. But if this is what you receive I'll pay $20 extra! The meal was fabulous the staff were outstanding and you now found a new customer for life! Tracy is definitely someone who needs to be training at every one of your facilities! Was excited to try the new deli over here near the exchange. The temp inside was so cold the tables were cold. I was freezing. I ordered the avocado salad and the salad plate and salad was refrigerator cold. The avocado was not ripe so that was a fail for me. Why serve something not ripe and inedible? The have a bug poster for pie that they had none prepped for that day? I closed up the salad and took it home where i put on a ripe avocado, some bacon, and more cheese. Much better - the deli shaved chicken wasn't a hit either. Not like the McAllisters I went to in Macon. Let them work out the kinks. read more

There are so many different issues with this restaurant starting off with the staff. There seemed to be some issues amongst the staff, they were arguing and one person walked out. I came here once and my experience was horrible. I ordered an Italian 12 and my order was somewhat slow but I didn't mind so much if... The fact that one of your managers served me with what can describe as the biggest attitude I've ever encountered. I can definitely say for sure that I will not be going there again. I managed to catch the managers name over employee conversation and her name was Ashley.
