Seven roofing companies spotted many defects from the ground without getting on the roof. Within the first year the roof and soffits had to be replaced. We hired a lawyer and filed suit against them only to find out when you sign to receive your inspection report you are releasing them of all liability. Save your money and do NOT hire these incompetent inspectors.

I hate to write negative reviews but in this case it is well deserved. If you use this company and…read morethe property you are purchasing is equipped with a sup pump, I recommend you be at the property you are purchasing at the time of inspection and bring your own bucket. This company will not test it because they say they don't carry buckets. Interestingly enough they will test leach fields even though they don't carry hoses. They barrow then from the owner. Guess they don't think owners have buckets. My sup pump didn't work and it costs to replace. Not all home warranties will cover non verified working equipment. Just be aware. Don't expect OPIS to catch coach lights are not properly mounted to the house. In my case they were FOUR light on in the back of the house that were only supported by electrical wires. Maybe if it was windy the day of the inspection the inspectors might have observed them swaying in the wind and make note of it on their report. Who knows. Don't expect OPIS to find rotting siding. I did after closing. I found several places on my cedar siding that you can easily push in with your fingers. It will have to be replace at an expense to me. Forget about negotiating with the seller. The property is already titled to me. Don't expect them to note sidewalks that are uneven and a potential tripping hazard. Yeah I should have caught this one but then what am I paying OPIS for?! There were other issues but hey everyone makes mistakes. But it is another thing when you are afforded the opportunity to correct them and you don't. I called and was brushed off at best but felt like I was being talked down to. They did not seem remotely interested in investigating my complaints, hence this review. So the bottom line is if you are expecting this company to catch flaws and arm you with negotiating power for get it! Recommend you interview inspectors prior to contracting with them. I wish I had.

Everything looks so good! We chose the same shingles for the house that we had put on the carriage house/garage, and although it's hard to see up top, they do look amazing. And the drainage around the house is SO MUCH BETTER. At the time the crew was out, we were having other repairs inside the house, and everyone did the trades shuffle with grace and humor. You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. They did our carriage house in early spring 2026, and the same attention to detail means we now own two very spiffy historic structures. Call Buckeye, you can't go wrong.

He then went on to ask a myriad of questions unrelated to our bathroom project, in addition to again asking if my husband could join us. I told him he was busy and could not join us and that I was the point person for this project. He asked a third time if my husband could join us, citing that I might not be able to remember all the information I was given. I told him if he was not going to provide a consultation/estimate for me, the project owner, unless a man was with me then we can cancel. I led him out of the house 30 seconds later.
